Re: What methods do you use to work?

Good day to all. I am probably like many others, an enthusiast in search of the forgotten (for example, BTC wallets). In general, I have the ability to write code, check everything related to BTC, completely locally. But I am desperate and do not know where to go, and do not want to waste 10 years of my life on meaningless actions. Yes, I understand that many community members (the majority) are unlikely to share truly effective methods, but I will still try, maybe you know real methods? (thanks in advance). p.s. a small clarification - methods for searching for old wallets or at least something really effective, related to dust.

OP, if I get your point clear here, you are probably looking for an old wallet to test your capabilities and see if you can be able to do something with your skills, right?

There is an ongoing campaign, which I think might be okay for you to try your capabilities and see how it goes, but that does not mean you should not look into other sources of livelihood. Try other things as well while you remain in the crypto space.

Here is the link to the ongoing campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5549171.20
Well, I'm talking about a slightly different direction, not about my wallet, but, so to speak, about searching for forgotten ones. Well, it looks interesting, thank you, but this is rather a slightly different thing - the private key most likely has other assets (except bitcoins) - having thrown them the key, they will take possession of them, there is no guarantee that they even have this money 2,000,000) + a newbie, if an old one vouched for them, it would be cool, but this smells of a common scam, I quote them: "This is not a dispute. We are not hackers looking for a vulnerability. We are the owners of a fundamental vulnerability. Simply put: we literally hold the bitcoin registry on a leash. Every P2PKH key, every balance that you think you own is just an entry in a database to which we have root access." Well, do you yourself believe that there is some kind of fictitious database in the P2P system? The guys just know how to handle texts and formulations - as I personally think) They will never openly declare such real things, it is at least stupid.

Have you ever been successful? I am curious about those who are extremely dedicated to this field. It seems like it is hard to actually be successful in this field unless you have some partial information that can help you. There is also the question of whether this is unethical because you are gaining access to coins that are not yours. It might be considered hacking, is it not?
There was definitely success, but with a small amount of funds, say up to $80, the terms are different, it happened that you could find something in a day, and it happened in a week. About ethics, morality and law - the one who has the private key is rightfully considered the owner of the funds. Looking for owners is like a needle in a haystack and there are many scammers among those who allegedly own these funds. As for the legality specifically - the funds were obtained through social engineering, the withdrawal should be made through official exchanges and a declaration of income received through social engineering should be made - the income is declared, the tax is paid, there are no problems.

Good day to all. I am probably like many others, an enthusiast in search of the forgotten (for example, BTC wallets).
If you want to search lost Bitcoin wallets and lost bitcoins, want to own them by cracking Bitcoin Protocol, you are not welcome by Bitcoin community. The reason is if you succeed, Bitcoin will become zero-value and it will severely harm Bitcoin community, and you are not an exception too.

Do you want to work, waste your time, and succeed then at the end the bitcoins you get will have no value at all?

Don't waste your time on it. Forget it and move on!

If you want to learn something about coding with Bitcoin, check there.
ebug & Simulation Scripts.
Im not talking about hacking the algorithm, but about specific old and forgotten wallets) I dont feed myself with fantasies and I understand that the chance of a stupid brute force is extremely low, so I approach the matter differently and look for some kind of escape hatches.

Re: How do i cash out old bitcoin legally without getting destroyed by taxes?

Hi everyone, I'm in kind of a weird situation. Back in 2015, when I was younger, I used Bitcoin for random stuff here and there. I recently checked some of my old wallets and, to my surprise, I found a total of 2.5 btc just sitting there across three different wallets. I live in France now, and I'm thinking about converting it to fiat. Not even 100% sure I will, since I had basically written it off and didn’t even think I still had it. But if I do convert, I want to make sure I do everything legally and by the book. Problem is, taxes in France on crypto gains are super high, and honestly I would rather not give away a huge chunk of it if there are legal ways around that. I started looking into options and found out that some countries don’t tax crypto at all if you’re a resident there. Malaysia stood out, and from what I read, if I move there and become a tax resident, I could possibly cash out without paying tax. So is this a realistic and legal move? I’m planning to talk to a lawyer soon, but I wanted to see what others think first. Maybe someone here has gone through something similar or knows more about how this stuff works?
I’m open to moving abroad if it means keeping more of the money. I don’t want to do anything shady, just want to be smart about it and follow the law. If anyone knows other legal options to minimize or avoid tax on this kind of situation, I would love to hear your thoughts.
btw, I was never really super invested in crypto. Around 10 years ago, I just used it to buy stuff online. So, I may be going about cashing out the wrong way, which brings me to my second question. If you were in my position and not planning to cash out, what would you do instead? What advice would you give me?

I can advise you in private messages, as this kind of information attracts the attention of unwanted elements. Without dust in the eyes and imposing resources or any of my services, I will simply prompt and that's it.
