To be fair I really don't think he stole the bitcoins, I have a feeling people will get it back and it'll be a nice surprise for everyone

That would be called the "Miracle of the bitcoin" and be written into the history books.

Hi, I just thought I could share some communication since November 2013. All answers is bullshit and they knew about it all the time.
You assume that this support person responding to you in broken English occupies a position of importance within MtGox high enough to be able to have access to its internal workings and accounting procedures.

I'd find it worrying if such an employee did have enough access to confirm any of the rumours at the time to be honest. Unfortunately in this case the logic that MtGox fails so hard at everything that even their lowest level employees must have been given privileged access doesn't follow.

So, basically, hard to tell if Karpeles was lying to his customers or both his staff and his customers.

Yes, if it had been a multi employes company I think they could kept it as a secret. But for this size of company, like a one man show I think it would be hard to keep this issues by itself. I mean the office didn't even have corridors and the staff shared the desks as seen on pictures.

Hi, I just thought I could share some communication since November 2013. All answers is bullshit and they knew about it all the time. How can they have that in their conscience. I had rather spent the money for my children than these idiots that also probobly got payed to answer this questions (or was it that fat idiot who run the support as himself also)?

Ashley, Dec 31 10:28:
Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for the email. Sorry for the delay in response. Due to the high volume of support requests we are unable to respond at time. On checking we can see that you have requested the transaction through International wire transfer. Please note that the International withdrawals are currently delayed due to the backlog of transactions and limitations imposed by our bank. We are working hard to overcome the delay. We do not have an ETA at the moment.

As of now the SEPA withdrawals are faster than International. If you need the funds urgently. Please allow us to cancel your withdrawal. So that you can trade and convert the USD funds to EURO and request a SEPA / Euro transfer if you have a bank account which accepts SEPA route.

Best regards,

Mt.Gox Team

I don't think you will come so far as they will still blame on technical issues for now and claiming that they are working on it. This is a dejavu situation comparing to the Swedish bitcoin exchange company Kapiton, as far they claim that the funds is safe no one can be arrested. If we have any hopes that MtGox will solve this I think we should let them try instead threat with law suites that will just delay or stop them trying to solve the issues . Of course if you got fiat funds it should not keep you from get then out asap. The end of the saga with Kapiton is that I eventually received my funds in the end.

I lost 5k€ and about 40BTC. As I now googled about Mark and can see that he is just a prick with a background in PHP scripting and have no leadership competens what so ever, as I now see the amateur in lots of things. I regret that I didn't do my investigation on MtGox/Tibanne before I sold off lots of BTC's on Gox in November as the fiat has been there since then. I tried to get in contact to ask where my funds was and they said that it would go faster if I did a SEPA transfer. I exchanged from USD -> EUR, but no confirmation for transaction did come, just excuses.....So I wonder why did they kept running the business and who was answering the support questions, what was the strategy. What kind of people can have this in their conscience, to put so many people on the streets?HuhHuh

I mean there is not lot of info telling what really is happening with his company, for shure he should have like 35$ millions in bankaccounts connected to the company. What is Japanese authorites doing at the moment. Is the guy reported by someone to the local police or is he walking free. Have they froozen his assets, is there any enforcement keeping him in the country and will they split up the money that is left and go thru the process as usual in a bankruptcy.

Start talking a little bit serious for once one the forum instead of all mumbo jumbo that has led to this.

It has been problems for for a while now and I just wonder if they have dropped the support and development and just keep the things that works running until it fails. I also see in the order book that langauge has changed, all things seems not to be ok?

Re: CGWatcher 1.3.3, a GUI/monitor for CGMiner & BFGMiner to help minimize downtime

lucky7:  For FPGA and ASIC devices, CGWatcher gets their info directly from the miner. So if cgminer is detecting the device, CGWatcher should be also. CGWatcher does not try to detect devices on its own because there is no need to - if the miner can't find it it won't be mining. If you send me a debug report, I can look for a problem that would prevent CGWatcher from displaying the Jalapeno correctly. I have a Jalapeno and use cgminer and it displayed correctly for me, so it is not specific to the device.

If you are mining two separate instances of cgminer (one for the Jalapeno and one for the GPU), then you need to set each instance to use a different api port and then set CGWatcher to use the port of the instance you want it to connect to. You can find more information on running two instances here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=159267.msg3853830#msg3853830
[/quote]

I got it working Roll Eyes, didn´t know that I should start mining from cgwatcher before it finds the devices. Not the same regarding GPU, that was found directly.

I do got hanging when trying to save(all instances), but it seems to get saved even if I close dirty.

Also in the 2nd instance I use for the ASIC I got 1 of the 2 GPU´s monitored, how can I get rid of that.

cgwatcher can´t find my BFL jalapeno ASIC. I´m using cgminer and have the ASIC devices configured with zadig tool in use with WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385) driver. All works fine running in cgminer. I´m running GPU on same box if that could have someting to do with it.
