So, fuck off with your paltry debts unless you give a fuck and have them transferred to Universe, as follows:

Quote from: freenode##crypto-kingdom
Zechariah: Ultima will be supported for 168 more hours, after that BOTH assets and liabilities there expire and are untransferable to Universe.

How does one do this?

BTC pulled back a bit, but XMR didn't budge at all.

I would be interested to know of anyone who has been able to withdraw any crypto from poloniex in the past 8 hours or so.

I withdrew 1000 XMR successfully yesterday afternoon. I got the confirmation email in approximately 2 seconds, and the transaction appeared on the network approximately 2 minutes after confirmation.

Inheritance can be complicated, so consult a professional about that, too.  (Or at least give seed words to your inheritors or executors, so they can dominate any arguments.)

This is a good point. When XMR is one day worth $100, $500 or $1000 USD in the years to come. You gonna maybe want to let someone know how to access that juicy XMR wallet(s) just in case you die suddenly (car accident, heart attack etc).

Who to trust the keys to your wallet? I would prefer no one knows until I am actually dead.

Sorry, a bit off-topic I realised.

That is what estate lawyers are for. You can leave the keys to the wallet(s) to someone that do not get to see them until you are actually dead. The legal firm must be trustworthy and, beleive it or not, most are.

One thing you could do is:

1. Use https://xmr.llcoins.net/ to create an encrypted mnemonic seed.
2. Protect your seed as you normally do (safe place, multiple backups, cryptosteel, etc).
3. Give your passphrase to the lawyer (or give instructions on where it can be found), so they can provide this to your beneficiaries when you die.

That way, you control the mnemonic when you are alive, and nobody else has access to the actual seed but you.

edit:

4. Put luigi1111 in your will so that he gets some money when your family asks him how the heck to access the Monero.

Haha Cheesy

Zip of site on Github (plus signature) is finally updated with the more recent encryption method.

PUBLIC NOTICE CONCERNING CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS OF Zechariah(etc(x6))

§1 All obligations must be threadposted in 48 hours (simple link to file ok).

§2 If Zechariah has not disclaimed in 168 hours (since the 48 hours), he assumes the obligation.

§3 Claims filed after the 48 hours are null and void.(end)

I have a claim on 18.066 BTC (- 0.1 BTC fee AFAIU) as part of the depository shortfall.

Just want to affirm that everything presented here (regarding lack of payment and amounts owed) is true to the best of my knowledge. I do not presently have any unpaid withdrawals, but do have "b1", the in-game representation of this (now assumed fractional reserve) depository.

Very nice and long-awaited S-LL dividends finally Shocked

What was it per share?

Don't remember, but it was worth buying shares for approximately M*1,000,000 - M*500,000 each.

I own 25 shares:

404681 Dividend M3 1,250
404671 Dividend M  2,500,000
404663 Dividend M  25

It was 50 M3/share, plus 10000 M/share.

SUBMIT 29 36 1

Also, TMA Prince of Rome, CEO of LuckyLionCorp, TRB, GJB, KFB, FBB, HBB, AOK-K, CBB, recognizes Zechariah's current IRL situation, and has decided to give back.

Code:
50000000 units of M given to Zechariah 36.

It is but a token amount compared to the gifts he has himself received, however not insignificant on its own.

That's a shame. You could have made some easy money there.

Let me know if you change your mind.

Is this bet for TC only? I'd take this bet.

I would also like to. Smiley

Confirmed only for TC. Smiley

Erin was heading back home when she saw luigi of Rome walking down the street, counting his CK tokens again. Seeing him so occuppied by the calculations, grabbing CK from the backpocket and placing them in the front pocket duly counted, Erin sneaked behind him and, undetected, poured 125 million M2 in his backpocket. She left quickly, trying not to laught at the idea of luigi spending the whole night counting.

So it was you! Dastardly! I only just now finished counting!

The energy is so high!

Good news: you can now use my site of questionable design to check receipt of RingCT funds as well (amount decoding).

http://xmr.llcoins.net/checktx.html

Also MoneroBlocks API may or may not be having some trouble sometimes parsing RingCT transactions with more than one input.

@dEBRUYNE & @MoneroMooo

Cool... thanks for those.  Totally don't grok what any of that info's about, LOL but cool to play with anyway Cheesy

So, just as a test using the info on the slip of paper that Smoothie included with the coin, here's what I got:

Smoothie had the example "Base64" text to print in the circle on paper, to cut out and insert under the hologram sticker, like this...

iOLI
b6/Kukeg
h23tC8Prlo
9OC0GF8mgn
djeI9ike
dji=

...which I had to use a jeweler's loupe to actually READ, LOL... my eye's gettin' old, man... heh

Anyway, that's...

iOLIb6/Kukegh23tC8Prlo9OC0GF8mgndjeI9ikedji=

...which I then used http://kjur.github.io/jsjws/tool_b64udec.html online to convert to...

88e2c86fafcaba47a0876ded0bc3eb968f4e0b4185f26827763788f6291e7638

...which then using luigi1111's tool, above, yielded valid Monero Address...

49cfLx1LyTK6JgUYtqSZszckGP3S8nVYLAwU4dZJUc5ZRajBUT7tGfB41cBHMxJEwfcjFmLegFypy6Z U6wDNsJcDHNwJnh2

...and SEED WORDS...

sipped bugs needed biscuit feline neither dads sulking saga anchor safety geyser patio hounded peaches juvenile moisture radar oncoming agnostic yawning teeming budget gone radar

...which worked fine on MyMonero but (of course) didn't show any balance currently or transaction history.

So... bottom line?  Smoothie, if you're reading this and you remember what address that example text on your little instruction sheet came from, maybe confirm that it's all correct and I successfully reverted back here, from the shorter simple Base64 all the way to seed words?

Pretty cool, if so.  Good system Smiley

Just wanna practice this a couple more times before actually putting any XMR onto the coin, permanently.

Just 'cuz after all, y'know, 5 XMR going to this little fun "throwaway" coin just to play with today, may be worth equivalent of $5,000,000 purchasing power for my future grandchildren some day, LOL

P.S. {Edit} Hmm... maybe spoke too soon?  Slight quirk apparently, I didn't look closely enough before, but just now I noticed that using those seed words to log in to MyMonero shows *different* address, in fact:

Account Address (Public)
49cfLx1LyTK6JgUYtqSZszckGP3S8nVYLAwU4dZJUc5ZRZ3acjTyx3rFjnZjptwjPDWEnMuQa2wW852 NUKSeQMWMRNMDHoy

View Key (Private)
528821c52c901556be9ac964a58c80c8196efa2c0f2acfaac6f28c4b19c41b0b

Spend Key (Private)
c166e75860a1833f1db1860470d54e588f4e0b4185f26827763788f6291e7608

IS this still "the same" however, so if XMR was sent to this it would still work...?  Or...?  Hmm...

This "seed" is not reduced. That is why MyMonero shows a different address.

You can see the difference by looking at https://xmr.llcoins.net/addresstests.html -- put the 64 hex chars in box 2. then click the button "Gen 3. and 4." Note the spendkey is not the same. To make MyMonero show the same address, just copy the new spendkey back to box 2, then press "Gen 1."

Guys, how to find that 5 XMR? should i run full node and wait it to download full blockchain?

Hey let's don't make it harder than needs to be for a newbie, right?

Can't he just use the seed-words from the generated wallet on MyMonero.com to quickly get to his money?

I know it's usually recommended that MM only be for testing or not-significant amounts, but 5 XMR here is under $40 bucks now, so is that really so much?

Yeah yeah "everyone should be able to use the command line" I know the argument BUT srsly we-all here in the monero community really need to start seriously considering HOW to make EVERYTHING really a lot EASIER for people to actually USE very SIMPLE and CLEAN, and FAST...!!!

XMR being "too hard" or "complicated" (especially for stoners on the darknet markets, LOL) will nip the organic growth that we need in the bud.

Imagine how much more adoption there'd probably already be in the DNM's if only the GUI came out *before* AlphaBay added XMR?  I totally believe that the reason it's still not preferred over BTC around there is 99.9% because of "no easy wallet available" yet.

MyMonero will not scan prior transactions unless you pay for it.

Do you guys know where can I find the block rewards schedule?

I want to calculate the current inflation rate.

I found this............btc xmr comparison...........scroll down to when xmr starts

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qXi7zUSIh7F6UuSuhOryyFbHEy_LJuym3I3neAga_2s/edit?pli=1#gid=239466694

Thanks.

According to those numbers the current annual rate of inflation is 18% <=[(6 698*365)/13 575 000]

It's still way higher than the Bitcoin one, which is around 4.2%.

So we still have a long way to go.

When will we be at 10% and 4%?

That info is in the spreadsheet already (scroll right if you have a small screen). We are currently around 14%, not 18%.

Has anyone figured out how to store xmr yet?  I don't trust phone wallets or third party services because xmr will probably be $100 this time next year....  Cool

There is no hardware wallet in sight. Really for privacy your best choice is to run a node and use the official client from the command line with a strong password. Not as secure as a hardware wallet but what can you do. I do not care for paper wallets, you may differ.

If you just want to store, then make a paper wallet (with multiple copies). For extra security you can do stuff like https://xmr.llcoins.net/
