Re: CANNOT RECEIVE WOF SPINS FROM FREEBITCO.IN FOR MY LOCKED TOKENS
by

on 29/11/2024, 23:18:04 UTC
Today I received my Premium WOF spins, lets see if it's to for good or not.
I been hearing about this issue on their site but it didn't get me until 2 months ago. It randomly worked one day but it stopped. I been in contact with support and they reply but they tell me they have no timeline when the issue will be fixed after threatening to call the SEC on them. Other than that my tickets kept coming back as resolved but obviously they weren't. Below is what they last sent me.
Hi,
Thank you for your email and apologies for the delay in getting back to you. We have recently had a very high contact volume which has unfortunately affected the response times.
I am very sorry to hear you have still been experiencing this issue with the Premium free spins.
This has been escalated internally and the team working hard for a fix. We know this was resolved for a period of time and spins were re-instated, however the issue has since commenced again.
I understand the frustration being felt from your side, I can assure you it is being taken seriously and we hope for a resolution very soon. However, unfortunately at this time I am not able to provide a time frame for this.
Thank you for your patience.
Best Regards,

Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action

Damn OP was right. Feel bad for the dude. He took a lot of shit for his post. Cryptsy took off with a little over two grand of my money. I'm in the new class action against coinbase after the original cryptsy class action lawsuit somehow lost my claim information. Made sure to keep receipts this time. I read posts like the one OP expressed here and kept my crypto off site and in wallets but still wasnt enough I was cashing out and they refused to send me my USD. Happen to be in Florida on vacation so I visited their office there to my surprise it was abandoned. OP was very well informed about what was going on. I heard stories about Cryptsy but i never had issues and everything seemed to go well. I received my checks on time until they were getting ready to file for bankruptcy. Like OP said once it started they started lying out their teeth. Your check is on its way sir. Week after week no check it pissed me off. I was on vacation waiting on extra vacation money and no luck never came. Thank god for people like OP I took screenshots before they shut the site down and people lost access to their accounts. His information saved me would of never even thought to take screenshots if it wasn't for him. Hoping I will see some of the money I lost already expecting to take a hit and not see the full funds I'll be happy with half at this point.

I thought it may be a scam too but I also thought the same thing when Ether came out. It's recently acquired BitTorrent and is holding its capital firmly. It has a different concept to its nodes and mining but so far it looks solid to me.

BCH (bitcoin cash) has been credited to accounts equal to their balance of BTC at the time of the fork (2017.08.01)

You can cash out your BCH using "my account" -> "send coins" in the website menu. First click "BCH" on that page. You will need to use a CashAddr style address. If your BCH wallet does not support CashAddr then you can use the address converter at https://cashaddr.bitcoincash.org/ - but note: DO NOT put a bitcoin address into this calculator. It is for BCH addresses from BCH wallets that do not support the new CashAddr addresses yet.

What is bitcoin cash?

Bitcoin cash (BCH) is a fork of Bitcoin (BTC). You can read more about it at https://bitcoincash.org/
It shares a transaction history with bitcoin up to the time of the fork. If a wallet had a bitcoin balance at the time of the fork then it is possible to unlock the same amount on the bitcoin cash blockchain. For every BTC prior to the fork there now exists a BCH.

Does this mean Bitminter will support all other forks?

No. Cash out your BTC to a wallet where you control the private keys, then you can take part in the forks you want. Always cash out. Take control of your coins.

Are we mining BCH now?

No. We are currently only mining BTC, plus NMC through merged mining with BTC.

It says my address is not a valid BCH address?

If you are trying to send BCH to a BTC wallet, stop immediately and get a BCH wallet you can send the coins to.

If you are using a BCH wallet that only supports legacy addresses, use the converter at https://cashaddr.bitcoincash.org/ to get a CashAddr type address.

If you are using a multi-currency wallet or online service that supports multiple currencies, make sure you are sending to a BCH address. Use the converter if necessary, but double check that you have picked a BCH address, not a BTC address.

Why did you convert the btc to bch it doent make sense? I would perfer my coins be BTC.

If you invest, you will soon see it develop. If you do not invest, you will regret too. I think that the best investment is made with these coins Smiley

How exactly would the "pool" get paid? All of the coins from the block go to whoever finds it. If you take coins from that person, it just becomes another pool.
Come off it! How does this solo pool get paid? If you find the block, then you get 99.95% of the 25 BTC it is worth, the rest to the pool.
In the same breath I'd add, the "normal" pool mining would say incur a flat rate for paying out to your address (not rocket science, but the pool gets paid then!)

But I digress, the question was is that kind of pool technically feasible to implement (or am I barking mad because that is what P2Pool is)?
"
You can separate the mining into separate pools yes and thats technically feasible . But it this case you would need a interface and maintenance on the "pool"and website would get hectic. I use to mine on a pool that did that but they shut down. This is straight forward and luck based. It's better to mine together than it is alone with outdated equipment.  Solo mining you have to have a reliable computer dedicated for that purpuse plus you have to stay updated on your node which takes time. This is mining with the least red tape on both ends.

Anyway. CK is this pool still up. I wanted to give it a shot but your links are not working. Stats are nt showing up

I've been noticing that the payments im receiving from the your pool are all out of order. Its probably nothing but im going to keep an eye on it others should too. I understand confirmations take time but is this bitcoin network slowing down transactions or the system used for payments lagging.

I was just looking for instructions on how to do that.
I'd have to search the forums myself for that actually since I don't have them written down anywhere and don't have an S5 any more. You can start by searching for posts on this or the p2pool thread based on the date on the S5 binary there I guess.

thanks ck I wish i could send you some donations but I'm in a bind this year.
can you add a readme

ssh 192.168.1.x -l root
cd /tmp
wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/antminer/s5/4.9.0-150105/cgminer
chmod +x cgminer
mv /usr/bin/cgminer /usr/bin/cgminer.bak
cp cgminer /usr/bin
/etc/init.d/cgminer.sh restart

Their is a problem with the cgminer on the s7. The same thing that wasn't fixed on the s5. So restarts are going to be necessary at some point. Bitmain should address these errors but they are greed and hardhead so i doubt that this will be the case any time soon. If you are having problems get a hold of them and ask them to upgrade cgminer,

can someone do a tutorial on how to do s7 cgminer update
Unfortunately the S7 has nothing to do with the official cgminer which this thread is about so you'll have to seek help from bitmain or more likely rely on the community of users of bitmain hardware on other threads.
my mistake i was looking for cgminer instructions on the s5 s7 was on my mind too lol
Same goes for S5.
ok i was just wondering why this link exists then.
http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/antminer/s5/
That's just a binary which you're welcome to upload to the S5 and better than bitmain's default one, having fixed a few glaring problems, but there's no comprehensive rewrite of the code like there was for S1-S3 by Kano.
I was just looking for instructions on how to do that.

Hey, I just noticed this pool pays-out instantly on block finds.
Sorry but I can't get payments on every block; I've a very neat wallet, your pool just made it very trashy.
Once a day is more than enough, once a week is best, every block is a big no-no for me.
This falls under "shit forced upon me that I don't want nor need to deal with" category.

Sorry but I cannot mine here for the foreseeable future.
Maybe if you let miners decide when to cashout or once a day at best, but for the time being, I prefer less payments.
It's just less hassle for me.

Keep up the great work, I love how you fill the blocks.
I think this person has OCD and wont mine here becuase it messes with that.

Recently I am getting zombie hashes while I am allowed merged mining script coins + BTC on your pool with some of my old Gridseed sets.
Coincidentally, it gets automatically fixed as soon as I stop mining scripts.

You mine sha-256 at Bitminter and scrypt at another pool at the same time? And then what happens? I'm not familiar with the term zombie hashes.

I think that has more to do with his equipment zombie in my experience your running your equipment too hard. It can't sustain the you settings consider lowering them.
