I would like to nominate Daniel "bytemaster" Larimer.
Among other things, Larimer worked out how to create bitAssets, that is, assets (like bitUSD) that exist on a blockchain but are pegged to the value their real world counterpart, Larimer pioneered the notion of a Distributed Autonomous Company (DAC), Larimer built Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) and Transfer Invisibly To a Name (TITAN) to serve as the underlying BitShares blockchain-technology, Larimer outlined the relation between decentralization, economies of scale and cost.
Larimer also started the bounty for the most watched Bitcoin video ever back in 2010.
Larimer also deserves special mention for being exceptionally generous and honest with his projects, outlining them in detail on the forums long before developing them, sharing all his insights and solutions immediately as he thinks of them, encouraging people to challenge them, and having all code and written content available openly with free access.

This bounty is for someone to setup and maintain an open source faucet application for BTS chains. This faucet will differ slightly from most bitcoin faucets in that it will require the user to provide:
1) Their Account Public Key
2) A globally unique account name to be registered on their behalf
3) A valid email address that is verified and for which there is a valid gravatar (https://en.gravatar.com/site/implement/hash/) account + image.
It should validate their account by sending them an email.
After they have validated their account, it should register a new account in the blockchain under the provided username and include the gravatar md5 hash as a public property of their account.
This will mean that everyone who wants to get started can use BTS with the following steps:
1) Download Client
2) Create local account and copy public key
3) Fill out form at Faucet
4) Check Email and click link.
5) 30 seconds later they have a registered account with initial balance.
Now all clients have the ability to display information from the gravatar profile along with the account which makes the directory more usable. The faucet should be branded and professional looking.

Sharecoin deserve a better situation.Community should take over it.
In my opinion, sharecoin without Zip's business worth nothing.Another thing to consider: Zip hold maybe the majority of the sharecoins. If we re-launch the coin, if we give it more value, we in fact increase the wealth of Zip who will dump as soon as it will worth it. Do you really want that??

I understand that you guys are trying to stay positive, but if this wasn't a scam, Zip would have addressed the community by now.
We got scammed, it happens.
Not trying to minimize the pain of our losses, and the hurt we feel after having so much faith in Zip, and him betraying us. He wasn't hacked. He stole the money. It was a well thought out scam. Suckered us all in with the free coins in the beginning. Share was falling and it was time to move the last stage. Take everything and disappear.
It's too bad such a talented developer is not in it for the long term. It would have taken awhile but everyone really liked his exchange. It would have become one of the big players.
Total dumbass, and lacking any care for others at all. I can't imagine doing this to so many people and being able to sleep at night.
Totally will never understand how people don't feel bad, hurting so many people, and hurting the crypto movement at large.
