The last 4 years has created a shit-ton on HODLERS. That's all I ever wanted for BTC. An army of them. Mix in a million noobs with FOMO disease, and BAM. 1600

Next time it's rising that fast, start expecting a little mini-crash or two. If we don't get them it's actually a bad thing. Tell yourself you don't know exactly when it's going to happen, but you're sure that it will at some point. Remember that trying to time the movements with buys and sells is too risky. Also remember that someday it will go higher. Forget the ups and downs.

If we were trading at a range of $130-$160, the movements wouldn't feel as intense. But now that BTC is way up here, the $100+ swings feel like a lot. We are going to have to get used to this!
Time to switch to mBTC. Get your cheap coins under $2!

Such exciting times. I think Alts will surprise you with their resilience. It's new people pouring in and getting FOMO'd when they see that they can buy MULTIPLE coins for $100, and thinking, "what if this one gets to be the next coin above 1,000?"
It's understandable because I felt that way about LTC in 2013 in a major way. The market cap of cryptos in general is exploding now. Yes it would be nice to be HODLing all BTC and watch the others drop while BTC moons constantly, but it won't happen. The whole family is coming along for the ride, and having a decent handful of everything will prove an invaluable hedge against any single coin tanking. Just knowing that coinbase was on the verge of LTC adoption should have inspired each of us to sit on a handful and wait. That said, I hope your bull charts keep hitting their mark. It's proven itself utterly unpredictable to me time and time again.

The price is increasing. I bought my coins for $300 apiece not too long ago.
That was long time ago and i'm glad you did so, now look at the chart and compare today's price with the price on june 18 and tell me that is still increasing...

I can't read this computer-generated garbage anymore. Please mods, do something. Have you seen a lot of posts that are zero content? They use "the bitcoin" and they don't quite make sense. It's usually a run on sentence that almost resembles English. There's no definite opinion or direction to it. I'm going to link a profile here that I don't believe is real. Read the posts. They simply aren't human. I'm overwhelmed by inserting this garbage into my brain hour after hour. It's giving me cognitive issues.

Wow, the articulation of this post truly night and day. I apologize for using you as an example. Honestly, it could have been many people that were pointed out instead. To give some perspective, I will say that my entire time on the internet has been on forums that are mostly native English speakers. This forum has a very wide range of nationalities, and it gets tough to handle some of the rough translations. I hope you don't feel like I was picking on you personally, but I still owe you an apology for linking to your post history.

Why is coinbase trading $20-$30 higher than the rest?
Coinbase takes fiat directly and is a typical first entry point for new BTC buyers. A n00b won't start out w/ Bitfinex or whatever.
Can someone explain why Bitstamp went so low during the crash?
Yeah, they will always sell you overpriced coins. I just thought it was odd that they are buying so much higher at the moment.
