I think what you're explaining might be the PoS thing I've encountered.

My SLM sometimes show up 100% in balance, sometimes 100% in stake, sometimes just a few % in stake. I thought PoS meant all coins older than x will be in stake, while newly moved coins will be in balance.
At least that is what the devs of other coins that I've been into so far explained it like. None of their PoS was actually working though, so this is new to me.

I'm still connected using that one node from one of you guys and it seems to work fine.
I do have the error "checkpoint is too old wait for blockchain to download" in the statusbar all the time. It still says "last generated block x seconds ago" and I guess that is okay.

@BitcoinFX That's a very interesting POV but most if not all coin devs are in the game to make money. 99.99% of BTC users are in it for that.

Just like all the clones that got big. They excel in marketing and get people into it. Hype it. Strategically cash out. Then eternal downtrend. Same game with the next coin.

Anyway. My stake/balance is still switching around like mad. Looking at the prices on BTER I will probably never break even. Money down the drain. Not too much, but still annoying.

Or I might just delete the whole thing and be done with it. So much trouble for so little.

-actually making the wallet work. It still crashes a lot
-setting up a node that works. I've ran my sys 24/7 for nothing until a helpful user here posted another node

No exchange is interested in SLM at all.

No offense but it seems as if you rely on the community doing YOUR work.

Edit: My coins now randomly switch between stake and balance. Shouldn't they always be in "balance" until I eventually move them?

I suppose we like the idea.

A few competent people could always take over.

I've tried everything now.

It just wont go past 17/3x %. All it does is switch between them.
Deleted the blockchain, started again, same result.

It switches between 17% and 34%.
Tried restarting a ton of times to no avail.

Would anyone mind uploading his SLM blockchain?

I really see this coin dying (if it can't be considered dead already if you look at the BTER orderbook) if the dev doesn't do something or a few competent devs take over..

I can not sync the blockchain. It is stuck at 17% even though it has connections and just sits there.

I have wasted enough power by running my sys 24/7 for minting/staking.

I set these, deleted the blockchain, tried to download all again. But now it won't get past 17%.
Any ideas?

I used to get 5-10 mints a day. Then suddenly none anymore.

Minting stopped working completely. Been forever without one now.

No such thing as a free VPS unless you know someone.

I still haven't gotten any mints since my last post.

Suddenly I do get some minimal amounts of coins through PoS but it doesn't display a stake or anything. Just ultra tiny amounts coming in randomly.

There are some helpful members who really try to help this coin but I'm slowly losing faith. By the current rate (without mints) I will never break even.

Interesting idea.
The "handicap" against the AI sucks big time though. It's extremely unfair - a little bit too much..
There are basically no human players anyway.

Create a shortcut, right click properties and add that to it. It's all over the last 2 pages. And I've actually just posted the exact commands up there:

I don't get mints anymore. They used to be quite constant, every day 2-3. Now nothing for like 4 days.

Is this yet another bug or what has changed all of a sudden?
