interesting idea but most people know the symptoms, so if they have a cough for example, they will do more research. And if they start feeling ill, they will call for help.

Don't be greedy and just inform them. If they don't reward you, then forget about it and don't get stressed out and hung up about feeling that you deserved something. The worst thing that you can do is waste time on petty things.

Re: The risk of investing in cryptocurrency
by

The biggest risk are emotions and lack of knowledge. The lack of knowledge could lead to things such as believing that a shit coin is going to be big. And emotions can cause you to panic, whether buy or sell.

Why not just Google 5G speeds to know what type of speed 5G gets?

Without getting into any political sides, it's just the human condition to be wasteful, and nothing is going to change that. It's not because the person is necessarily bad, rather the human mind is not curious enough to think about the connections that you talked about. Whenever I turn on the hot water I realize how much power it takes to heat that water up and I try to not use it as much. But the vast majority of people, 99% will not make such a connection.

This is a tricky question. I don't believe in simply just blindly helping people, because I think most people are for a lack of a better word, scumbags and spoiled. Will you simply give it to the poor, where a large percentage of them are going to buy say the latest iPhone so that they can impress their friends. If you blindly give your money away like that, it's almost the same as burning it.

What I would want is to build something with a foundation, that will last for centuries, where those who care can better help themselves.

Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ??

Stuff like this happens all the time. Do not stress it. I once joined a bounty campaign, stayed there for almost a month, but gave it up because I felt another one was better. That other one didn't turn out to much. You would be less stress out if you understand that stuff like this is part of the game.

Re: Are we doing enough to save the planet?

I remember a few years ago being in a political forum, and one of the topics was a discussion about a yearly event where people are encouraged to save on electricity for that one day, to reduce and make more people aware of pollution. Something to that effect.

The majority of the people there were really annoyed by the concept, and in retaliation they were purposefully going to run all their lights, TVs, and appliances that wastes the most electricity as possible.

So what does that tell you?

Re: Why won't ETH network accept equivalence of the token in question for gas?
by

on 25/07/2018, 01:18:30 UTC
Sometimes when I need to look for gas from friends before I can move tokens I become unhappy. Why will ETH network won't accept the equivalence of  the tokens you are moving as gas but always want ETH.Because they are all erc20 tokens so why is ETH manipulating the others. The other tokens should be able to be used as gas not only ETH.

Because it's not coded that way. Ethereum would probably need to be reprogrammed from the ground up to have that option, making it a completely different code base. Possibly different blockchain. A new one.

Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin?
by
mamichula
on 19/07/2018, 01:37:52 UTC
Many people moan because many people have lost an incredible amount. Imagine buying Bitcoin at 18k and then lose over half of it? You would also spend a lot of mental energy thinking about the future and when it's going to go up.

They were unfortunate enough to have gotten swept up in all the hype although there were plenty who bought at the last bubble in 2014 but held through the downtrend and ended up benefiting from this one

Smart money comes in when the price is near the bottom not whilst the market is over inflated

But even those who bought at the previous all time high (December 2013) and held would had moaned for a long time, because there's no way for them to be certain of the future. It too almost 4 years for them to recoup their money in 2017.

Imagine if you bought at $20,000 and I told you that it's ok, it will get back there in 4 years. You would actually moan less because at least you have certainty. People who bough at $20,000 don't.

The price is very stable but after the 10 airdrop we will see the rise of the currency since the incentive for the purchase will be had, the more privcy you have the more you will receive, that is fairer ...

And even right now with the investor's club, people can benefit from having a little extra.

I've really researched the 51% problem. What I wonder, does it automatically create a problem, or does Bitmain have to take advantage of something for it to be a problem.

I'm doing the stacking but I didn't receive the last two income transactions, they have a question mark next to them and it says "Generated but not accepted", does anyone know why?

That's exactly what it means, that it was generated but not accepted. Generated coins are not always accepted.

And cool fact that I heard a while ago, if you stake with two wallet on two different computers with the same wallet address, then you're going to get more orphaned stakes more often.

Re: People move out from cryptocurrency!
by
mamichula
on 17/06/2018, 20:51:31 UTC
When you can't understand the working of this market, the volatility of coins which gives you more loss than profit at such condition people move out from cryptocurrency. But I will not blame crypto currency as this is the fault of people as they invest at right time and in right project. Newbies tend to listen to anyone pretending to be expert and lose their money after not properly searching about particular currency. If people study before investing they will never move out from cryptocurrency.

One of my biggest annoyance since the 2nd half of 2017 is how many new Youtube channels there are with 100s of thousands of subcribers, brand new channels, giving people advice. Telling them, "Buy this coin because it's really hot." While old, good channels, with good trading experience and information are stuck with only a few thousands.

The article took to long in explaining what the problem was. It makes it sound as though a group came in and stol 5% of all Monero willy nilly, but it sounds that they're just talking about Malware. Which can happen with most other coins.
