I'm confused, what does the Chinese new year have to do with the apparently European Ambercoin dev? Am I missing something?

An announcement to the effect that Q4 dividends will be in BTC would be nice. Personally I got out of Amber last year and just got my Q3 profits in amber, I know I'd be much happier with that 10K amber instead of $527 worth of BTC if amber were actually worth something on the exchange at the moment. I'm guessing a little less dithering and an announcement that Q4 dividends will be in BTC again would do it...

Agreed, total scam, my contracts went inactive once I started spending a bit more with them and they're still advertising for more clients. That's called a SCAM! Oh and good luck getting a refund, I was told they don't provide refunds.

Be nice if there was a bit more transparency then. Mintsy.co is still signing up new people, there is zero indication of any issues on the front page and I've been told refunds are not an option. To me looks an awful lot like a scam that took several hundred dollars from me and many others I'm sure.

I'm having the same inactive contract issue with external and Mintsy pools, so far over 2 weeks and a bunch of lame excuses later and I have yet to get a refund. My initial experience was great by the way, I bought a total of 8 contracts with them, the first two went just fine. Two more stopped working close to contract end, the last 4 still have months on them and have been inactive for some time.

I asked several times for a refund and wasn't even answered. Worse, it doesn't seem like a resolution is coming any time soon, here's a quote from my ticket:


So they currently have NO HARDWARE PROVIDER according to her response. When I asked in a followup how they could think it reasonable to not offer a refund when they don't even have a hardware provider I was ignored. My advice is likewise to stay away.

For those like me that aren't getting money back so far, complain everywhere, let's make sure that if we don't get our money they at least don't get new customers signing up for a non-existent service. I see we had some excitement on the Exchange, for the record, none of that dump was me, got much nicer offers, the rest of my 88k was sold between rounds 3 and 4 pricing (off the exchange). So sorry to anyone I did not get back to and best of luck with Ambercoin. I hope to buy back in later on when my situation changes.

I got quite a few offers actually, will get back to everyone that pm'd me today, doesn't look like I'll have much trouble selling my remaining shares, thanks for all the offers.

Didn't think that was an option since I bought the shares on the exchanges and not from Amber Trade.

About 88k on exchanges (bleutrade and c-cex). Pulled it off open orders since I'm trying not to screw things up for anyone.

Yeah, sorry, that'd be mostly my fault. I'm the shareholder that needs to sell off shares (personal reasons). Been trying to do it slowly believe it or not, but 140k shares don't go unnoticed apparently. Don't need to sell them that quickly, open to suggestions on minimizing impact.
