Hi,yes the SPARC tokens are still valid because they will be converted to a new token.OR something like that.I forgot exactly how the reply was but yes.

SPARC are rebranding and now called DCP.The website has had an update and i have contacted the team to find out if my SPARC tokens are still valid.

SPARC team have an update on their Facebook and Twitter page.

Tech update: Conrad Bielicki measuring the electrical power consumption of a variety of electronic devices running computations using the Distributed Compute Protocol. Revenue from running computations on the DCP network is expected to far outweigh the cost of electricity.



On a side note i contacted Dan Desjardins (Founder/CEO) the other day and he replied :

"We are about to collaborate with one of the worlds most influential people in crypto, but that’s a surprise announcement that we will make in the coming weeks."

Agreed they are not too active at the moment but now they have some additional funding and hopefully having another ICO this year we have to be positive.
With 26 tweets since the beginning of this year they are clearly not dead.

Stop smoking the drugs man.SPARC did an ICO last year but only raised less than $100k.Their token was about $0.02 each.Never was it any where near $13 per token.You must be confused.Later this year SPARC aims to hold another ICO.They have also received investments from elsewhere so will be in a better position during their next ICO.

Check out their twitter and you will see that they are an active crypto that now have some backers,which is good.Hopefully they will start their ICO sometime soon.

4. We are testing, validating and benchmarking our technology/compute platform with the Centre for Advanced Computing.

Also SPARC's twitter account is full of updates on what the team have done and are doing.Its well worth a visit.I wish i bought some more SPARC at the ICO when it was about $0.01 each.

Tech update: SPARC completed preparations to run and test its first pilot project using its Distributed Compute Platform.
A computational astronomy project from a PhD student at Queen's University will serve to benchmark performance and relative cost.

Since Jan 1st 2018 SPARC have been very actively tweeting what they are doing.This is a great sign that they working hard to make SPARC a reality.I am glad i bought in early when i did and see only good things coming from them in 2018.
