If you stick to a hardware wallet you should be safe, even if you have a big amount of bitcoins. As far as I know, no one has violated the safety of a ledger until now...

Unfortunately not. The only way to participate it's being selected by the lottery in the first round. To try your luck in the second round (the one up to $ 9000 dollar per participant) you still had to be drawn out in the first round...
I can suggest having a look at the Nex Token when it hit the Exchanges.

No. The second round of KYC (more in-depth) I think is for people who want to take part also in the second round of the Token Sale. The Token sale will have two rounds:
Round 1: Maximum contribution of $ 1000. It will last for one day;
Round 2: Maximum contribution up to $ 9000. It will last for another 2 days or until all tokens are sold.
The date of the token sale has still to be published (probably end of April or beginning of May)

1. I believe in the project I have invested in;
2. No way I'm going to sell in loss;

In just a few words: Bitcoin will never end as long as community support will continue and as long as people will continue to believe in it. Obviously, if no one will buy it anymore and no one will use it anymore, the price will go to zero.

Io l'ho comprato da Amazon, perchè mi arrivava subito e mi è arrivato in scatola cellofanata (ok questo non vuol dire niente...).
Dici che ho fatto una sciocchezza? Al momento l'ho uso da un pò senza problemi. Ho però letto attentamente le istruzioni e non puoi essere fregato, infatti è la Ledger stessa (non io) che dice che non mette un sigillo di garanzia per l'apertura della scatola perchè non serve. Cioè una volta che fai la procedura da zero, mettendo il tuo PIN e in particolare creando il tuo seed di 24 parole (procedura da fare all'inizio obbligatoriamente), questo è resettato ex-novo a livello hardware nel chip. Se qualcuno lo avesse manomesso non ti farebbe fare la procedura di generazione seed.
Spulciando in internet, infatti ho visto che sono stati fregati gli utenti solo in questo modo: comprando da ebay, arrivava la scatola pronta e chiusa, da persone che l'avevano già presa in precedenza, con un foglio sul modello gratta e vinci da grattare le parole con il seed già preimpostato (da genio del crimine, non c'è che dire questa strategia!!!), quindi i ladri avendo anche loro il seed, hanno potuto rubare quando volevano indisturbati tutto il malloppo!
Io sto seguendo diverse campagne bounty su bountyhive dove non cè bisogno di pubblicare post settimanali o inviare report settimanalmente. Trovo il servizio molto comodo e ti segnalo la campagna di bittwatt che a mio avviso è molto promettente:

Bountyhive ti consente di fare campagne bounty dove finora hanno sempre pagato. Non cè bisogno di fare alcun report.

È unottima soluzione per seguire decine di campagne. Attualmente hanno circa 20 campagne attive e ne attivano altre settimanalmente.
Mi risulta però che in tutte le signature non è necessario fare i report settimanali (almeno non ho visto nessuno che li fa). Sbaglio? Quindi da questo punto di vista non c'è vantaggio.

E' esattamente quello che succedeva a me!
Infatti avevo provato a copiare per prova l'immagine della fiammella dal post di qualcun altro (giusto perchè era quella che vedevo usata da molte persone in vari post e giusto per curiosità e per vedere il funzionamento del forum), oltre che a qualche altra emoji pressa casualmente dallo stesso sito che hai messo tu (è un pò quello che le ha tutte) e appunto non comparivano nella preview... Non comparendo nella preview non avevo immaginato che invece postando magicamente sarebbero apparse.
Poi quando hai postato tu, ho provato ancora a copiare con copia / incolla le due emoji che hai messo tu:
✅ e questa verde compariva subito in preview,
poi ho postato ed è comparsa anche la fiammella 🔥 (che in preview non compariva) ed ho risolto il mistero:
una buona parte delle emoji, se fai copia e incolla, non compare in preview, ma compare solo quando posti!

Sopra le faccine ci sono i vari font, appena sopra c'e' la nota Message icon: in grassetto e il menu' a tendina di base e' selezionato su "Standard" (ovvero nulla), se ci clicci sopra puoi scegliere un'icona da far comparire alla sinistra del titolo del topic o del singolo post, io ad esempio ora metto quella della lampadina

Ma esatto! Proprio questo! Come hai fatto scusa? Se io faccio copia incolla nel post o nel titolo dell'emoji della fiammella per esempio, non compare niente. O meglio compare l'immagine mentre scrivo il post, ma quando lo pubblico e guardo la preview non risukta niente...

spesso sono i moderatori che chiudono e cancellano diversi thread, soprattutto quelli delle nuove altcoin lanciate, quando vedono che non rispettano le regole.

Personalmente non mi è mai stato cancellato un post a me specificatamente, ma mi succede CONTINUAMENTE che thread vari nella sezione internazione dove intervengo vengano cancellati (con tutti i messaggi lì scritti da chiunque) e quindi non esiste più proprio il thread.
Visto che succede continuamente mi sembra davvero strano. Ma è la persona che li inizia che poi si sveglia a vuole cancellare tutto (non parlo di post automoderati), ma può farlo? Oppure sono i moderatori internazionali che continuamente cancellano interi thread?
OK, this would sound noobish but I'm interested to know how other people keep the mnemonic phrase generated by the wallet. I do have the wallets secured with a pw and backed up (still not enough to warrant a hardware wallet) but I also have the passphrases handwritten in paper (someone said be wary of printers) and stashed somewhere but I'm wondering if there's a better way to keep them.
I don't know any cryptography but I'm thinking of shuffling the words rather than writing them down in order. Like a 12x12 grid where I'd spread them out in certain patterns and then finished with filler words. Since it's no longer as straight-forward should anyone get their hands on it, I think it would finally be safer to keep digital copies of it. Any suggestions?

I don't really agree. I think the safest way to store your mnemonic phrase is not with a digital copy, but offline. I store it on a piece of paper, written by myself (not printed) and hidden in my house. How can someone still it? I should suffer a robbery from someone who knows what he is looking for and where to find it, a little difficult I would say... Instead, everything that's in your computer can be hacked.

I don't think will happen so soon, by the end of 2018, but I'm quite confident it will exceed that price in the next years...

You can earn money trading it or just buy it and hODL until the price increase! This is surely the widest use of bitcoin nowadays, pure speculation... But in the future I know it will be different

Per esempio la smileys della fiamma, quella della stella e altre... Ma nello spazio dedicato al titolo non si più linkare un'immagine, quindi come fanno?

At the moment you can't really compare bitcoin with gold as a store of value. Gold is considered by everybody as a store a value and widely accepted for this purpose, bitcoin no. I'll rather consider bitcoin more as an investment to try to earn some good money...
