The big problem I see with bitcoin is the exchanges.

Bitcoin Exchanges are working like a Nigerian Bank, who can trust a nigerian bank to depost their money?

Also I am sure that the exchanges are manipulating the price of bitcoin, with the mtgox issue the price of bitcoin has to be right now below $100 and if you check the price of bitcoin in the exchanges is very stable.

Bitcoin has a strong future but one thing that has big issues are the exchanges, after the mt gox problem who can trust them?

I remember some weeks ago how mtgox keeps showing the price of bitcoin, how could a company that was out of business and it was closed could show the price of bitcoin, how can they set the price of bitcoin if they don't have any transaction, this show me that the price of bitcoin is based on nothing and the other exchanges are doing the same to fix an artificial price of bitcoin that is not real.

I think Mt Gox got their customers coins and they want to blame hackers for this.

You are right and I think that all exchanges are a scam.

The only way to be safe is to buy and sell bitcoins directly without exchanges.

Also never keep your bitcoins in an exchange only in your wallet and make multiple backups in usb

Don't waste your money in a lawyer, the only thing you can do is to wait and keep your finger crossed so that mtgox give back the bitcoins to their customers.

The main job of a lawyer is to make money from others, sometimes they win but in cases like this it is too difficult to do something because mtgox is located in japan and because at this time people don't know if mtgox has some bitcoins or nothing.


What I don't like about mtgox is that they don't update what is going on. Mtgox is like a nigerian scam office.

In no way bitcoin is dead with this.

What is dead for me are exchange companies that they always will try to make a lot of money even if their customers loose everything.

Who can trust exchanges right now.

If MtGox has issues other exchanges will have the same issues sooner or later.


Don't trust any exchange company and get out your bitcoins right now that you can do it, later you can end like mtgox customers without nothing.

He will travel to Russia the same way that Edward Snowden go there.

The only issue going to Russia is that there are a lot of angry mafia bosses in that country that want his head.
