Даже не знаю, что и сказать. Может, что-то в registry сломано. Попробуйте там поискать "openssl", и может, какой-то путь не такой там стоит, что ли..

Можно в любом месте. По-моему, при первом старте, если путь к openssl неизвестен, то программа меню вываливает с вопросом - укажите путь к нему. И где-то этот путь запоминает, через недра Qt. Я так понимаю, что в виндовс - где-то в registry. Возможно, изначально путь какой-то стоял, и кошелёк запомнил. Потом после какого-то обновления путь стал инвалидным. Как-то так, думаю.
В общем - надо попробовать в registry посмотреть, и возможно - удалить или переименовать переменную, и по новой путь на openssl поставить.

Странно.
С момента выпуска кошелька прошло уже более полугода, за это время было сделано пользователями несколько десятков сертификатов (можно посмотреть в Эксплорере), и вроде у всех всё работает. Скорее всего, проблема связана не с кошельком, а с Вашим компьютером.

Навскидку есть два предположения:

1. Что-то не так в рабочем под-каталоге кошелька ".../cert". В виндовс это: C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\EmerCoin\cert
Попробуйте переименовать этот каталог, и снова войти в "manage names" - возможно, после пересоздания всё заработает.

2. Неверный путь к openssl. Надо посмотреть, где Вы ставили openssl, возможно, "поломана" инсталляция. Если так - попробуйте переставить.
