Re: Do you believe in Ripple?

it is centralized. but it is a utility token. and it does its purpose as a utility token. there may be some other tokens/project that can do what ripple does better, but the fact that it is centralized does not limit the utility of the project. so i believe that ripple for the transactions is faster and safer

Re: Did bounty hunters really get token for free?
by
medical-student
on 26/10/2018, 22:23:04 UTC
I have been seeing a lot of post saying bounty hunters are getting stake for free, on some thread I read where some people are accusing hunter of dumping their token because they get if for free and this got me thinking......

Did hunters really get this token for free??

Working 3-6 months and using your hard earn money to pay for data on a project as a hunter trying to make someone else project successful, is that really a free stuff??

As a developer, if you meet an advertising company to help you advertise your project will they accept your shit coin from you??

If you employed and pay the salaries at the end of the month, did your employee got the money for free or will you still monitor the way they decided to spend their salaries??

So why all this people are saying bounty hunters are getting their token for free??
they are not free tokens. but the tokens from the bounty work that the "hunters" have done for marketing the project. and instead of being paid in fiat they are paid in tokens. seems fair to me.
for the early selling of their tokens, it is another discussion. since the delivery of the bounty tokens should be regulated from the team to not let the price go down

I get the impression that every influential entity has plans of creating its own currency. There's even speculation of Facebook creating its own ICO.

Do you think that fractionalized ownership will be applied to everything? Are all assets going to be tradable?
what i think is that Facebook, with the money they do over us, does not need to do an ICO go get more money. i do not see such entity to be decentralised

Oh my god after the fall down of etherum from 1400 $ to 200 $ what do u think of the soon futur of etherum?! .. my opinion is etherum will get to the top again it's normal when it's so down with every other coin or bitcoin.. can i use patience as a smart solution to get rich with 4 ether now !
until the POS is implemented and the Constantinople is available i do not see the price of ETH touching those levels. and the constantinople is getting delayed further. so lets see how the developers get to manage it

crypto allows me to have some incomes extra if it is possible, but i can not effort yet to have crypto as full time work. wish it becomes a full time work in future

Re: Do we really need a lot of Cryptocurrencies?
by

...we only need 1 for every industry...

Yes, and that is also the reason why there's so much cryptocurrencies in our current stream right now. They're competing and doing their best to get that spot, that one and only spot, in every industry. We may not need those but soon, we will pick one each.
we are at the beginnings and the fight is still very hard. the ones that the market/users will choose as the best will be the standards for each industry probably. but for now nothing can be selective/blocked

Re: Too many ICOs
by

on 10/10/2018, 19:32:44 UTC
this is an old thread. after 7/8 months we can clearly see that there are really less ICOs. during the pump a lot of scam ICOs were online since it was easy for them to make money by doing nothing. now a lot of us are more experienced and choose the good ones and not give money away. the scam ICOs have no profits these way, and only good projects and interesting ideas are emerging

Re: Alts coin vs BTC

I want to know that which will be more profitable in future BTC or alts? Though i am a die heart fan of BTC but for now i think alts will be more profitable than BTC. So what's your opinion? Comment please.
i think it still depends if in the near future or in a really long to come future. for the next years bitcoin will still leave a big margin of profits. since a lot of alt still have to rely on it. on the other hand, on the real long run i think some alts can be much more profitable. some projects are already very interesting to give them a shoot

it is to not panic when one is experienced and has not invested a lot. probably some of us have invested really a lot in crypto, and by seeing the market in red they panic. and it is the best possibility for whales which make money over us

Re: What is your strategy for hodling or selling?
by
medical-student
on 06/10/2018, 15:39:03 UTC
it all depends on what i have invested in. there are some tokens that i do not move at all, that i will put at the market only with hopeful big profits. for the other tokens i usually follow your strategy, since the idea with those is just to take profits and buy and sell to have more. a lot in here probably follow statistics, matemathical strategies and so on, but with this simply strategy i can get some little profits

Re: HODL or REGRET!!!
by
medical-student
on 29/09/2018, 14:40:11 UTC
I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.
seeing the possibility to have made 5k$ from 200$ lets you with a lot of regrets. but almost a year after, the price is still there, and you sold and bought again you may have been able to have a good profit as well. getting your gains is never a bad solution. Wink

Re: Some ICO is not scam
by
medical-student

Hi, let me clear this uncertainty a few people said that all ICO is a trick however I don't trust them since I have put resources into some ICO and influence a favorable luck, to give me a chance to give you some piece of information to contribute.

1. When you need to contribute as a matter of first importance investigate about the specific ico you need to put resources into, endeavor to check their Whitepaper in light of the fact that some ICO duplicate content from another ICO white papers

2. Attempt to check their LinkedIn profile however that does'nt make any difference since some phony LinkedIn profile.

3.Try to know their genuine area despite the fact that some utilization VPN to shroud their area.

4.website expert issues a considerable measure since some don't know how to construct site and they are guaranteeing that they are in to Blockchain

5. Notwithstanding all this..involving in ICO is a major hazard
   Roll Eyes
well, you are right. a lot of ICOs are not scam and are proving themselves and to the community they are worth to invest in. the problem is that the more scams are out there, the less trust we have on the really good ones. i have had the possibility to join some that are proving me wrong about the scam opinion about all of them and i am happy to be proven wrong.
of course your steps are to follow all, and thank you for sharing them with us

Re: Cryptocurrency to be accepted in shops by 2025?
by
medical-student
on 29/09/2018, 14:27:46 UTC
I think the shops will accept cryptocurrency earlier then in 2025. Its already almost everywhere, so we need to wait little bit more. Hope shops will accept crypto and it will be everywhere in 2020. Because world develops very fast.
Regards.
probably the 2020 for main use everywhere is a little bit too soon, especially to those who have not yet access to the internet or online payments. but i think that most of online shops at least will start to accept cryptocurrencies payments

Re: What are you doing with your portfolio on the bear market?
by
medical-student
on 29/09/2018, 14:17:41 UTC
I think to sell anything on this market is not good idea. But many people have a different point of view
What are you doing with all your coins\tokens ?
Hold, Sell, Or change to promising (for your opinion) coins?

And which TOP 5 in your portfolio?

My top is:
BTC
EOS
XTZ
XLM
ADA

i am holding, of course, what else to do?
my top five is:
ETH
ELA
EOS
XRP
ADA
yes, i know, it is quite strange to see no BTC on top five, but i am ok with that
