What is happening with the hard fork? Will it produce another coin like the bitcoin cash case? If so where is the best place to keep my monero when the fork takes place?

GPU msi rx 460 nur eine zu Laufen bekommt. Win7/64 Wolf miner, Verkabelung stimmt, alle Lüfter drehen u. warum sollten 3 Riser auf einmal kaputt sein?
Das Problem liegtdenke ich in der Editierung der xmr.conf Datei. so sieht ein Teil davon aus:....

relevant davon denke ich sind "index" u. "threads" mit dieser Einstellung läuft eine GPU mit ca. 300 H/s, diese wird auch warm, die anderen bleiben kalt. Außerdem arbeitet die CPU mit ca. 11 H/s mit, habe schon viel rum probiert. Vielleicht kann mir jemand auf die Sprünge helfen, wäre sehr dankbar, Gruss..

Du musst alle GPUs angeben, jede Komponente braucht Ihren Eintrag. die CPU ist die -1, dann kommen die GPU's von INDEX 0 bis index 2 denke ich.
so monero seems to just be moving together with the market, like some gentlemen yesterday tried to explain to us in a lousy attempt to somewhat downplay the effect of this debacle

Good point Smooth. The only people who actually lost here (e.g. bought in after pre-announcement), are the ones who were planning on selling to a greater fool. How they rage when they are revealed to be the fools!

the people who won are those that shorted full power with lots of confidence, not because they did bet, but beause they knew its a hoax, while eveyrone else had to bet if its a hoax or not.
its even more sad that those people are the usual twitter scum. pony probably needed something to brag in front of them.

Just from trading perspective: Nearly every coin is in -20 or -30% today in BTC terms, not only XMR. I think XMR will recover faster then many expect, as real announcements are coming and the project is not based on hype like the majority of other crypto projects.
that may be true, but the other coins all gained several hundred % against bitcoin last few weeks, so i dont think your market analysis is really appropiate. XMR would have held up perfectly today if not someone ment he needs to proove something.

im not sure i can and want to contribute to this project anymore.
when we did the gui release, we always tried to keep fronrunning at a minimum and keep it correct, becasue it would bring shame over all the contributors if there is obvious insider action.
now you invite the twitter idiot whalepanda and friends to short against the most vulnerable monero members, the new noobs that joined just 2017 ?
just to teach them a lesson they would learn by themselfs anyway ?
you put shame over all of us today.

Rather than postulating a manipulation with supernatural skill, my supposition would be an impatient entry by a new Monerist, followed by an opportunistic exit as soon as the deposit xns could occur (Risto?). We remain with a surplus of demand, and the parabola seems.... Inevitable.

Looks like the Polo trading engine fucked up. Affected all the markets.

We were probably going up a little bit too fast anyway. It seems like some peeps were getting a bit too excited.
From here 0.018 looks like a reliable floor taking the 38.2% retracement from the wave: 0.009222 - 0.02349.
Target is still 0.036+.
While some people might be excited I am still frustrated to see Dark coin replacing Monero as the market leader in anonymous currencies.
I hope there can be 2 anonymous coins but I am afraid there cannot be...
