Rare satoshis are not NFT’s or ORDINALS. Ordinal software is used to identify and group them into a UTXO that can be collected and traded. Here are some links where you can learn more about the history and get started. (all legit sites, you can do your own due diligence to verify them):

This is an Ordinal theory not a Bitcoin protocol Bitcoin are fungible so all Sats are equal.
This is highly likely a passing Fad so I doubt it has a future not to mention rarity is speculative and hasn't been proper stated so I doubt it would be liquid.
Not to mention It was increase the number of Bitcoin scams since individuals that know little and have the money could be deceived to buy a "normal" as rare.
Yes it's fun hunting and seeing something corresponding with history, but if miners focus on rare Sat's what do you think would happen to the security of Bitcoin in the long run?

Perhaps this is a good explanation of why satoshis can be tracked and how. Simply by assigning ids and tracking them, you can identify rare sats. Lmk if the referenced post makes sense

The names and numbers of future sats that have not even been mined are already named and numbered. It is a built in function of the blockchain. These are not added on to them after mining.
You can look up the final satoshi that will ever be mined and it already has a name and number assigned.

This makes no sense.
It would of made sense if every single Satoshi had a Serial Number of some sort attached to it. Just like Banknotes do. But in this case, it is equal to thinking a single drop of water out of a filled bucket is rare. How do you move the drop of water and identify it as the rare one?
It is interesting to know that some of your Bitcoin were initially part of the first ever Mined blocks of Bitcoin. But identifying how many and where and even making them non Fungible is a no from me. All Bitcoins should be Fungible. I hate how we are drifting away from that willingly.

You can look up the final sat that will ever be mined and it already has a number and a name. This is the premise of why they can be collectible. They have a history and are each unique.
This is why I like to think of Rare Sats as Collectible Coins. Although different, as Sats do not have misprints, made from different materials, removed from circulation, or uncirculated. Rare sats have different qualities that make them rare and collectible. Pure unmolested sats that have a historical significance.

Rare Satoshis are NOT ordinals. The ordinal software was created to search for and hunt for satoshis (and other features). ORDINALS are satoshis that have had inscriptions added RARE SATOSHIS are pure BTC SATS. Nothing has changed. They are not ordinals. The ordinal software is used to find them and group them into a utxo together. NOT ORDINALS not NFT's..
The ordinal software also is what is responsible for these NFT’s and weird inscribed sats and those are ORDINALS. It needs to be clear that Rare Sats are just pure unmolested satoshis. Nothing added, nothing changed.

Well these are not NFT’s. There are no inscription or images. Just sats that are grouped based on different criteria. Block 9 450x for instance are from the first bitcoin that was ever mined. So just pieces of the first bitcoin mined, and the first block. So it is basically owning some of the first bitcoin ever (available). I think the first 10 are in Satoshi’s wallet and should never move.
These are not NFT’s, or inscribed ordinals. Just to be clear, it is just Satoshis deemed rare and grouped in certain amounts. Satoshis lost in transfer were an early issues. Now they have ord wallet addresses that make it very safe to move around.

Is anyone here holding / looking at Rare Satoshis on Magisat or Magic Eden? I feel like these have a lot of potential. I think of them like the collectible coins of crypto. When I look at all the categories I feel like it is obvious that Block 9 450x have the greatest potential. I definitely fomo’d a bit .
If you don’t know, you can check your wallets for rare sats that you might already have hiding. Some are seriously valuable. Christy’s and Sotheby's have auctions too. It looks really promising to me.

Such feature cannot be added to this old forum software, but it will be added on new forum software that is on its development.
Now, regarding the solutions, 2fa isn't the solution, it can still be accessed by anyone/hackers on your device and the same thing will happen, you will be hacked. What users should do is to secure their account, the same thing to emails, used device, be familiarize all types of schemes for scams, as well as to broaden their knowledge of everything to avoid getting hacked.
Using google first always help.

Extra protection will absolutely help. The site needs to upgrade the software and enable 2fa. Those are features I can use to increase my own security. As you mentioned.

I am a relatively new member, and was surprised when I first signed up that there were soo many hackers. In reality hackers are extremely rare, so why al the hackers on this website forum??? Think about it for a bit. Why does this site invite hackers here to try and hack the system?
How to solve this problem?? Easy 2FA. This is not expensive to do. Depending on the amount of members it would be super cheap to do. Especially when everyone on here has loads of money and ITS CHEAP TO DO.
Don't let the site argue with you that it is too expensive. That is not true, it is cheap. Maybe $1000 if the site is not super huge.
WOULD YOU NOT WANT TO BE SAFE AND PROTECTED? WHY IS THIS SITE INVITING HACKERS TO TRY AND HACK THE SYSTEM and TO BE PAID TO DO IT?? This would protect all issues of scamming and would reduce expensive ESCROW transactions, fees, and prolonged shipping. ESCROW can still be used for those who would like to use it and others can trust members they know and be able to trust that hackers will never get through again.
