I've noticed several hour stretches of time where I have blocks accepted, but I don't see payout on the website.  Happens mostly with Keccak and NIST5 algos.

Any insight?

Clever rocks ;-)
my 3,4 mhs brings 30% more on cleverminig
Middlecoin is out

how much are your rejects on Clever just curios , the only reason I moved from clever was rejects were 30% 18% at its lowest and this was after he announced he fixed the reject problem.

Waffle is paying just on average 0.1+ per MH atm and rejects are low as HELL ... SO I have made 3 failovers 2 at waffle and the 3rd a clever just incase waffle blows up.

Is clever really a better option to waffle

Think about it this way.  Does it matter how many rejects you get if you're getting paid more?

Clever is mining some aggressively fast coins.  More profitable but reject rates get amplified by very fast coins. The reject rates are part of the profitability equation.

Waffle is a conservative pool. It has low reject rates because they DON'T mine the most profitable fast coins.

So in a race between a Bugatti Veyron and a Toyota Prius, do you choose the Prius because it's not as loud?  For me, I don't care if it's louder or more finicky or takes more gas.  If it's a race, I take the Veyron.

So at the end of the day, what's more important to you, the reject rate on your screen or the payout to your wallet?

Definitely the payout, but waffle does mine many coins, check out their range... and the fee is 1% so does it equal out would you think? i wouldnt say waffle is like a prius their payouts are up there with the best of them.... maybe some days a fraction less just as clever is also fraction less at times (according to peoples comparisons). atm I think waffle & clever are pretty even in profit dont you think.??

Or tel me do you think clever is out and away ahead of waffle? if so ill switch in a heart beat, have you really compared waffle for a full 24 hrs?

I've evaluated Waffle 3 times since they came out a few days at a time (Evals less than 3 days don't give accurate results due to immature and unexchanged can take a few days to switch over).

Waffle mines a lot of coins yes, but none of them are really low difficulty and fast.  Clever expressly states that they mine fast coins on their thread.

Keep in mind that Waffle currently has more regional servers, lower overall rejects and no real server and code issues recently.  Clever has had a ton of problems with core code (now fixed) and have only one US west coast server (more to come). And yet they are somewhat even (with Clever taking the lead in the last week) despite all of Clever's issues. So... With that in mind and once all issues are fixed and new servers are in place, which one do you think will perform better?

One thing you fail to mention in your post is that if the rejects are much greater on clever than waffle and the payouts per MH are fairly similar, your payout will be greater on waffle 100% of the time simply for the following reason: the accepted hashrate will be higher on waffle than on clever.  These calculations all are based on accepted hashrate in MH.

I got 36% reject rates on clever and still mined 0.01 / mh

What are you basing your hashrate on? What's displayed on CGMiner or what the pool actually reports.  If it's what the pool reports, Waffle will destroy Clever because of the rejects issue.  Waffle will simply show a much higher hashrate.

I really feel bad for anyone that sent this clown any form of currency.

The old adage definitely applies: those who can't do, teach.

If you really had some true insight into crypto markets, you would NEVER share your knowledge. You would instead place trades based on that insight.  Any competition dilutes your profits.

I have years of experience in FX and equity markets, get paid big dollars to execute trades in real markets, and have seen so many forms of this same scam in various markets.  No one is going to give you some super secret formula on how to get rich quick.

Folks, please save your money and do your own research with free resources.  I'd be more than happy to answer any simple questions you may have for FREE via PM.

280X still better price/performance

How is that? the 280x isn't twice as fast yet it costs twice as much.

280x MSRP is around 320 - 350.  So not 2x as much as 270.  Also KH/Watt is better on the 280x than the 270.

Not in the US. Cheapest 280x available at newegg is $499. There are some of the lower clocked 280x's at amazon for $469... vs. 270's @ $200-229

Last week you could've had most 280x's for $400 easily.  This week the lowest I'm seeing is $449 from reputable vendors.  Prices do fluctuate.  But the KH/Watt is still much better for the 280x than the 270.

Re: 2900Kh/s Quad Radeon R9 280x Scrypt Mining Rig
by

Sorry but your pricing is way to high.

Your rig would make a maximum of 35$/Day (not including electricity) and that's mining the most profitable coin from coinwarz (right now).

It would take at BEST 88 days to break even.

Just to put it in perspective, these are used items, their value as per your post is worth MORE then the current new price? I'm confused.

I'd be willing to take the 4x cards, through escrow at USD$205/Each. I doubt you'll find any better offers for used cards and that's even assuming they can hash anymore.

Lol, that's just being a dick. $200 for 280x cards? Assuming they can hash anymore? Troll.

Brand new I paid 297$/card for the 280X in November, these cards are used therefore they aren't worth nearly as much. Go buy a TV today, use it for an hour and try and sell it for the price you paid for it. It's a depreciating item.

Your standard TV today doesn't generate any cash flow, therefore your analogy breaks down...

Try these (my addresses are in my signature):

NOTE: the TC should be set for your card directly by deleting all bin files, setting the # of shaders and launching CGMiner.  The bin file that gets created will have your optimal TC # in the filename.  Therefore the TC number in my settings may not be your best bet.

Wanna make a decent ROI time, any maybe some profit. The most is $1500, i'll add another 270 when I can make the litecoins.

You don't need dummy plugs.

Also, you might wanna get better cards than the 270's.  It's going to take you a while to make your ROI with those cards.

These cards were used as a placeholder for literally 3 days until my 280x's came in.

Excellent condition and come in the original box.

I paid around $150 each so I'd like to get somewhere around that for each one.  I will use Coinbase pricing.

Escrow possible with buyer paying fees...
