I was thinking about making LGBTcoin on coingen.io.

Would this be a good idea?

Would anyone want to help try to make it a success?

Hey everyone, I'm focusing on dogecoin right now so I'm selling bitcoinforce.com.

I'd like about 1 LTC for it because that's what it cost me, but I am open to offers.  Thanks!

Got this reply from coinbase:

Hi Ian,

We've had a hold placed on this user's account since the end of November so he can no longer use our merchant tools. If they have stolen your money I recommend going to the authorities, once we receive a subpoena we will turn over the information we have on this account. These kinds of users give Bitcoin a bad name, so I'd be happy to see them brought to justice.

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to shoot me an email if you have any further questions!

Also, yes, I did put money in before I knew it was a scam.  Has anyone contacted Law Enforcement about this?

Dying in a week? Do you realize it's the most requested feature on cryptsy?

 Roll Eyes

Yep, most requested so everyone can dump the shit out of it.

If I wanted to dump the shit out of it, I'd do it right now on coinedup.com

It has enough liquidity.  I could sell me 500K DOGE and run off with $180.

However, I won't do that because I have faith that dogecoin is going to be widely adopted and enjoyed by numerous people.

That's worth holding for.

Is it a joke?  Yes.

Is it real, and can be used to purchase real merchandise? yes and yes.

The following for doge has exploded in it's own microcosm on reddit and various forums, social media and exchanges in a relatively short time.
While this explosion doesn't lend to it's credence as a legitimate currency, rest assured it is very real and is already at a +$2 million USD market cap, on one exchange and has at least one +10 GH/s pools dedicated to it.

dogecoin is going to get onto cryptsy, it's only a matter of when.

It would behoove (wow such pun) cryptsy to put it on there sooner, rather than later.

physical bitcoin integration with casino?
by
minerguy91
on 07/12/2013, 20:51:21 UTC
Hello, I live within spitting distance of a major gambling tourist location and within 30 minutes of philly.

I was wondering how a casino or store might integrate bitcoins as a payment processor?

Obviously, using a bitcoin ATM would be the easy solution, but how would the store safely convert those bitcoins back to cash.

Obviously, there is a lot of disposable bitcoin income out there, so attractive that business is a major turn on.

I'm in for $212 dollars.

Not a huge amount, but I have a vested interest.

I'll keep up with this thread.  Has anyone considered testing this address by mailing him?

Bought 25 GH/s and sent a PM to you.  Here's hoping AMT miners follows through.

Can you pm your order # to verify

PM sent.

Also, I read earlier in this thread that they will deliver mid december.  Yes, the difficulty will go up, but you'll have to wait longer than that to get any other miner, even KNC is undergoing serious R&D for their next batch.
If AMT keeps stalling I'd gladly take the 30 minute train ride to personally visit them in Havertown, PA for some reassurance and report back here.

On a side note, OP, about how long do you think you'll allow people to buy in at this price.  If mining gets going soon, I'd like to do another buy in.

Hey, I have a domain called bitcoinforce.com and the hosting for it on a very fast web hosting panel on my VPS.

I had a plan for it, but if any one had any ideas for it or wanted to start something on the cheap and was looking for a partner, please PM me.

Need to rent mining rig
by
minerguy91
on 19/11/2013, 06:59:23 UTC
I want to mine litecoin with cgminer and scrypt.

Now that bitcoin mining is moving to ASIC and FPGA, I'd be interested in paying a fair price to rent time on your bitcoin mining rig.

Please PM me with your rig GPU types and how much you would charge for me to run cgminer on your rig.

Thanks!  Smiley

I'm not reading too carefully where you are hosted, but expect that people that use your services will use it for illegal stuff and spam. As long as you're hosted somewhere that doesn't matter, you should be fine.

Read low end box for horrors of accepting bitcoin and hosting in some place like the USA.

Whilst I understand the claimed  link between anonymity and bitcoin, not having the details of clients and yet providing hosting to them is asking for law-enforcement to turn up at your provider and have the VPS pulled from the 'net

 Shocked oh my god

I've been thinking about it, and I think I'm going to start local and see about building a client base first.

Then, when I have more time and hopefully some friends joining in, we can keep an eye on what's being stored on our servers.  Then we can expand to a larger market, making sure we are aware of anything that violates our TOS, since the VPS's (and I) are in the USA.

Cpanel is widely used control panel that many customers prefer. I think for the extra $14-$35 it is a good investment. Especially for those that might want to migrate to your hosting service and are already on cpanel.
For local people, I would offer personal migration assistance and training with the new control panel.  I like one-on-one help anyway, I've done it for computer repair and user training.  I've already migrated several sites I own to zpanel (see: http://fourchandiy.com/site-migration-panic-jpg) so I'm quite familiar with it.  Then later on, I'd definitely offer cPanel and WHMCS for ease of clients.

Thank you guys for the HEEDED advice for a newbie!  I've significantly revised my plan after reading this thread.  Grin

New to forum, love bitcoins, want to start webhosting with bitcoins
by
minerguy91

Hello to everyone here.  Thanks for all the information you guys have given me too.

I love bitcoins, because by their nature, they allow for perfect unhindered, anonymous, free and instant trade.  Hell you could build a civilization off of bitcoins, because they facilitate trade.

I have two VPS's that I use to host my own websites, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a basic inexpensive hosting service or if you guys think It'd take off and be successful?

I am shooting for:
* Anonymous and quick sign-up where we take your email and name, and if you want extra optional security a mobile cell phone number.
Then you pay with bitcoins, it's confirmed and you're done son.  No stupid paypal billing agreements, nothing.  Just sign up and you get what you're promised for that period.

*Basic hosting, mysql backup, site backup, etc.

Right now I use Zpanel, but do you guys think It would be worth it to pay for cPAnel/WHMCS for autosignup and bitpay module?

Also, do you guys think I'd get business?  Where should I advertise?  Anything else you'd like to seee?

thanks! Grin
