Isn't the problem that Tether has no inherent value? It's only backed by a promise of Tether Limited, that they hold 1USD for every Tether Token out there. And it mostly looks like that isn't the case. The Tether case is not only exploding if the audits say the promise isn't kept it also blows when too many people start cashing out their Tether. And there is absolutely no way to predict if that is going to happen or not, and if it happens and Tether isn't able to back it the value of Tether in BTC is unstoppable going down to 0.

Having anything in Tether is completly crazy. Yo never know when it's going to explode. How do you wanna know that suddenly there isn't some whale who wants to cash out it's tether. You know what's going to happen then... BOOOM. Tether over and out.

I didn't think of that. But is's quite possible since FB ist really struggling at the moment. The last change of tactics reverting back to a feed generated more out of personal content (friends post and so on) is clearly showing they have to change directions to monetarize better. ATM the time users are staying on the site and paying attention to it is dropping constantly.
A new way to monetarize the brand would really being building a own crypto by doing an ICO. This would really shed a new light on the current measures against other cryptos.

Yes, I can recommend cryptopia too. They really miss a integration into some trading tools, but I thinkt that's because they are still quite small. But except they are obviously somtimes overwhelmed with withdrawal issue (but most of the times they get fixed in less 24h), they are quite good.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from HitBTC. They don't get anything done and are completely over their heads, at best. Atworst you could say they are scammer. Just look into their thread here in the forum.

I'm completely fine with banning ICOs. But I really don't like they had to ban all cryptocurrencies too. I can see that it's sometimes perhaps hard to seperate ICOs from other cryptocurrencies. Most of the times you could say an ICO is just another cryptocurrency and Facebook is trying to avoid discussions about not treating cryptos "unfair".
So as bad as it sounds it was a logical step.

You can use every wallet you want. You just have to register the address your coins are in.

As far as I can see it the main difference is the insight installation is completely under the devs control. chainz was run externally by cryptoid. It's always good having a "own" blockchain explorer.
Also insight has a more featuresome API but I have to investigate that deeper first.
