If no one is interested in sending sha hash to the multipool to get paid in LGD, then I have other payout coins that I want to configure.  There is no one mining.

Cheers!

If we can bring the hash and hold the coin for the long term, we can bring the price up to where it belongs for sure.

New wallet is up and syncing at mintypool.com - although it's just a test installation and we aren't using it for a lot of active mining, but the node will always be up.

Cheers.

Thanks Happy!, I think the most ROI option wold be to do Vmod 3 not dont even think about reversing it , unless someone else makes the SuperVmod, which gives you the option to switch from vmod3 even then unless you really love dual mining like yourself I don't think there is any reason to flip the switch ...

Exactly what I think.  And this is too beautiful - why switch to dual mode?  No looking back for me...

Wow.. what a beautiful site... is this the 49.9K or the 47.k?

and at what freq?

HURRY UP PUBLIC HOLIDAYS will you end already I have stuff waiting to arrive in the post and they will not come because of these holidays, I mean I do love a holiday but I would of loved to have it after I got my stuff lol

EDIT: DOHH Ignore my freq question its ifront of my face --- 1200mhz

It's the 49.9k.  I used 49.9k ceramic 1% axial resistors.

Re: GridSeed 5-chip USB miner voltage mod

I've done the voltage mod with 49.9kohm resistors and the 5V fan mod on 8 of my Gridseeds, but I'm having a problem. I'm using the Hashra image with a Raspberry Pi, but the Gridseeds are only stable up to 950 MHz. What's weird is, they run perfectly fine at 950 MHz, but the moment I try bumping it up to 1000 MHz, they basically fail to hash at all. To give an idea, at 950 MHz, my pool reports ~3.5 MH/s with about a 3-5% reject rate. At 1000 MHz, my pool reports ~0.01 MH/s with a 80-90% reject rate. Any idea what could be causing the problem?

Try this image: https://github.com/mox235/scripta

There is a link to an image in the readme.  I modded all 10 of mine and they are running at 1200Mhz with 0 rejects and 0 hardware errors.  I forked that repo and will be doing some work on that image to make it even better.

It uses a custom cgminer that supports frequencies for each miner so you can tune your rig.

Finished my first mod and it wasn't as bad as I thought.  Miner working and has no HW errors and no rejects since I swapped in the 49.9k resistor.  Testing with an updated Scripta image now to see how fast she'll go without errors and will update.

What's the power draw with the 49.9k resistor mod?

Still okay to make the fan (quiet please!) mod as well?

1200 MHz - Rock steady at 508kh/s with no HW errors the last hour.  Letting it run overnight and then I'm modding my other 9 miners tomorrow. 49.9k 1% FTW!

4 available as listed here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/291120486173

As they are small enough to mail cheaply, make me an offer and I'll ship them off to you.  Pay in BTC, LTC, DOGE or BC.

Make an offer, for one or all, whatever you choose.  Creative offers appreciated.  I have no use for them and they are collecting dust ATM.

I'm going to give this a try tomorrow evening, but it sure looks like delicate work.  I really appreciate Wolfey's contributions to this thread and the pictures.  Looked completely doable given those great pictures until I saw how incredibly small the areas we are working with are IRL!

Wish me luck.  You know *for sure* I'm going to practice ALOT on an old motherboard before taking my iron to one of my 'seeds.

Given coin , what's the most efficient, accurate and reliable way to determine the current block reward?

Is there a way to determine this other than by the coin configuration and the current block height?

Re: HASHRA CONTROLA on Raspberry Pi for Gridseed
by

Two questions:

1. In v1.3.3 what's the login/pass for getting into the Pi with SSH?

2. The official open source project page is listed on GitHub, but the update.php script pulls the following bitbucket project when checking for updates: https://bitbucket.org/api/1.0/repositories/purplefox/hashra-public-firmware; which one is canonical?

I really want to get a mod working that supports separate frequencies per GS along with auto-determination of the most productive clock frequency for each GS.  I was going to try LightningAsic until I bricked my Wiibox trying to flash the latest version.  I prefer to work with the Pi since it's much more extensible and accessible.

I may be able to put together the Android wallet if I can find the time, but I'd like to see us get Hawaiicoin on a few exchanges first to start building a market for it.   The coin will die without an active trading community.

I'm still doing reasonably well solo mining with 2mh/s but maybe just getting lucky.

Yeah i went back to solo mining... How many blocks are you finding within a hour?

Diff still 1.0 and average is down to 1 block per hour now for the last 8 hours or so.
