1) the app is NOT running mainnet, so it won't work with realnet addresses (which start with N)
2) private keys only contain numbers 0-9 and letters a-f

As said, we are in testing phase and still looking for the right thresholds for all these parameters.

Bug to get an idea, I would suggest to use a machine that has at least 2 GB RAM, single core CPU is ok (if not really weak, this is usually a big problem for many VPSes because they dont give you much details...) and an upload of at least 10 Mbps.

The amount of harvested blocks are completely indepent from the fact if you run a reliable node or not. We do have a supernode program in the works though, but that has nothing to do with harvesting/POI: http://blog.nem.io/supernodes/
Supernodes are still in development, we are in an open beta phase at this time. So don't expect any rewards yet.

Since the balance is one of the parameters which affect your importance score, it will not "quickly drop" if you have millions. But it WILL decrease if you dont transfer, that is correct.

Mabe this isn't clear for you, too: There are no block rewards. You only earn the fees inside the block which you harvested ("mined" in Bitcoin language). So you can harvest a block and earn nothing, if the block was empty (no transactions happened inside that block).

This is going too far. Wrong accusations like this, without explaining why you think like this is not ok.
I know how much time and effort was spent on making sure everything is as fair as possible. I personally invested a LOT of time in this too, so I understand your post as a personal insult. If you do not explain in an objective manner why you write stuff like this, I'll think about blocking you in this thread.
