It would be great if you could update GMINER to V1.55 - it is necessary for BEAM V2
Many thanks in advance!

When you write for yourself there are bugs and limitations that you know them and you may or may not put time to fix them.
But when you publish a free code for public usage, some people think just because you share your code, they paid you for it and they let themselves tell you whatever they like.
Thats why so many people don't like to post their codes and just use it privately instead of posting it for public usage.

Thats absolutely right - you will experiencing with every kind of work you will do free for public some kinds of people who are thinking they bought you.
But don't forget the lots of user, also those one who are only reading here and be very thankful for the whole work you guys are spending to keep the project alive and expand IMO to the best project you will find for all of us!

Is 'MPH_EQUIHASH' working properly for anybody?
I get autorisation failure from the server everytime.
1bash is configured right, also the coin is set to MPH_EQUIHASH

It's not a big issue because I am using the ZCL coin in 1bash with the port for multi coin switching instead but just want to bring it up if anyone else has problems too.

See this post from me and see if it helps: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1854250.msg28431148#msg28431148

Noted and will be fixed for next update.

@Rig4p - Many thanks for your reply - this was exactly the case
@papampi - Thanks for fixing!

Hi Monck,
Thanks for your answer. Which model of PSUs are you using? I assume you have two PSU connected.

I am using a small ATX PS for supporting the mainboard and two HP DPS-800GB A with home made cabling to the GPUs

So in practice, each PCIe6+2 output is powering 3 cards and each SATA output is powering 3 raisers.
I could replace the SATA connectors on the raisers with molex connectors that probably can handle more power (I will try this now), but I see that my best alternative is to put another PSU adding more PCIe 6+2 outputs

Hi WaveFront,
I am using the same MB with 11 Zotac 1070TIs and Server PS.
To get a better understanding of the power distribution I was measuring some parts.
In my case the risers are using 25W each - means 2Amps
Most PS having a chain of 5 SATA connectors on each channel - this is more than the wire can handle.
As you have only 3 connector areas for each voltage range at the SATA connector, it would be 0,7 Amps for a single connector area which is IMO quite high - as we are using it 24 hours a day.
3 Risers is IMO the maximum and to change to Molex is not bad ;-)

I have my cards limitted to 130W - the whole system is using 1800W, which is an additional power consumption of 370W for the rest of the system.

Do you use "screen -r miner" to check miner output?

Miner output was ok but mined in the last switched coin before WTM was terminated

After edit run:

Many thanks - will keep you informed.

Found the problem
It was happening when miner was restarted by watchdog and wtm couldn't find the miner up time.
It should be fixed now.

Any one on wtm auto switch v0008 please update to latest v0010 by running :

Code:
cd /home/m1/Downloads
wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/3fbrlv4t5js8xt7/wtm_update
bash /home/m1/Downloads/wtm_update

JFYI, it seems to be fixed - on my side stable on all rigs since yesterday
Many thanks!

Hi guys,
I'm running two rigs with 10 GTX1070TI each and the latest version.
During the last days both rigs terminated the auto switch with the following message:

Code:
/home/m1/8wtm_auto_switch: line 87: 113462
113462
113462
367 / 60 : syntax error in expression (error token is "113462
113462
367 / 60 ")
m1@acs-miner1:~$

Any ideas?

Also a good point to say thank you very much for this great IMG.
I was using a lot of other operatig systems but this one is the best of all!
Some friends of me were changing too and having a smile on their face ;-)

Yes it should be terminated and start again
WTM Auto Switch Logic is :
if ALGO_SPECIFIC_OC="NO", it only restart miner and watchdog (to prevent wdog from catching low util and restart again)
if ALGO_SPECIFIC_OC="YES", it checks coins algo
if algo changed, it restart watchdog, temp control and 3main so specific algo takes effect
if algo not changed, it only restart watchdog and miner

You will see a miner terminated in gnome-terminal when algo not changed, if you check wtm tab you see it started with new command line and you can watch miner output log with:

Code:
~/nvOC miner-log

I have some ideas for next version to show the miner info in a new tab when miner terminated.

Thanks for explanation - the problem is that nothing is restarting after termination neither wtm nor watchdog and miner.
This behavior is on two independant rigs.
At the time I am running without Auto Switch
As I'am a Linux virgin - is there a possibility to give you more information for check?

I made a small change so the terminal keeps showing miner output even after switch.

papampi,
many thanks for your support - functionality is great and miner stays in terminal after coin switch.
But is this also possible for the Watchdog terminal - otherwise don't see whether the Watchdog is running or not?
Watchdog is terminated and not rectivating after coin change.

I am testing 19.2 but have the problem that the mining process will be terminated, watchdog process too.
Mostly after the miner was switching based on Algo change. Checked also on a second rig with only one 1070TI.
Thanks for your work - any ideas?
