Bitcoin is for everyone and no gender, color or nationality should become a hindrance to be in it. As we can  clearly see here they can do amazing things as well, we are on the same level as them. At the end of the day those who made a difference matters most.

There might be problems now with the connections or transactions but then at the end of the day its still a publicity that will make people know about the existence of bitcoin and hopefully other altcoins. There a great possibility that network will upgrade in the future, or rather use other fast cryptos like litecoin and doge or even deeponion as well. Let's just look at the brighter side rather than the negative.

Thankful pa rin sa BSp kasi they are doing their job very well.

There is no wonder that this crypto world will be soon enough filled with those who are non-believers in the  beginning of the projects. We just need to be cautious because these people are not yet train to take on wild swings that we normally encounter in this space, but what is fascinating is that they still try to to get in even though they are not knowledgeable yet enough to take on the market.

Re: South Korea putting an end to trading through cryptocurrencies
by
moonchaser_babylove28
on 11/01/2018, 05:56:20 UTC
Recently bitcoins plunged even lower than what it was before because of the statement made by south Korean prime minister about banning trading of virtual cryptocurrencies through exchanges

Etherum and Bitcoins are majorly controlled by countries like south Korea and now since they are gonna ban it the effects it would have on currencies would be detrimental

Would it recover ? Because it's simply bigger than China also countries like India are also thinking of putting a ban!

That is a sad reality for the whole community of bitcoin, but it might trigger more resistance especially those wanted to koin the ride of the century. As I can see it, they still wanted to control their people, but in the end people will decide for themselves. There are more countries in this world, we can survive without 2-5 countries. We have the remaining countries to fulfill our dreams.

This is a big mistake, any age is still capable of investing, but for the retirees it is not that advisable since they do have limited time frame to play in their investment. What is important is to learn first what they are getting in, any business or any investment we are getting in.

Re: What is your advice: When should I cash out?
by
moonchaser_babylove28
on 15/12/2017, 08:36:19 UTC
I have been investing in a bunch of different coins for a while now, mainly BTC, ETH, LTC, and some other lesser-known coins. I have a lot of different coins in my portfolio to stabilize/reduce risk.

I love the gains that these coins provide. I never panic-sell, and always hodl and buy low. That has been my simple strategy.

However, I have a problem - how do I train myself to know when to cash out?

For instance, last night the BTC price was high (18K), and ETH/LTC price were low.

I could have cashed out then, and invested in ETH/LTC, which are seeing a nice pump now.

How do you know when to cash out??

Right now the only time I cash out is when I need to money to buy a gift or something.

It all depends upon your needs, when you have an emergency or you really need that amount surely you will need to accumulate everything that can be accumulated, and bitcoin is one of that. Try to earn a little each and every now and then. By asking more of the price then you are losing more chances to earn. This I experience just recently, train yourself your emotions then you will earn little by little.

Anyone in USA see CBS new bs on Bitcoin Don't invest keep your money in the bank, it's safe in the bank. Guess they think we all forgot about how the banks screw everyone every 10-15 years then get govt bailouts. What a joke. Id rather keep it under my mattress than in a bank getting a 1/2% interest. f****n scumbags

This one is not new to us, banks that try to steal our money, they are very threaten as of the moment for it is a known fact that people as of today can have their own bank, done were the days that those banks will be the king when it comes to the financial aspect of a citizen, a man or his family. I am very hopeful that bitcoin will rally through and make some more noise that the whole world will get into the cryptocurrency.

Re: Bitcoin the New Gold & Dash for Payments?
by
moonchaser_babylove28
on 15/12/2017, 06:48:07 UTC
Will Bitcoin become the new gold and will Dash be used for daily payments? Any other potential crypto currencies in mind that can replace BTC or DASH?

I think  this is currently happening, but the degree or the magnitude will be very hard to say as of the moment, we can see that the price of dash is increasing astronomically and yet the price of bitcoin is still there playing around the corners of 16-17k per coin. Hope this will come true eventually, everyone will be happier then especially those who invested in Dash during early and cheap stages.

Re: Why is bitcoin price not dropping when sending fees are so high?
by
moonchaser_babylove28
on 15/12/2017, 00:18:30 UTC
Does anyone know why this is the case?  Surely it would drop right since the fees are outrageous and would move other people to buy other coins?

My stand on this is that people nowadays are not looking at bitcoin as payment system, but more of an asset where the value is keep raising as the time goes by. If most of the holders are thinking this way we can safely say that price of bitcoin will definitely soar due to holding.

Re: Is a bitcoin wallet a savings account or a payment account?
by
moonchaser_babylove28
on 10/11/2017, 03:32:44 UTC
Is bitcoin virtual gold or virtual cash? At this moment I consider bitcoin more as virtual gold. Currently banks offer savings accounts and payment accounts. I consider my bitcoin wallet as a savings account. At this moment my bitcoin wallets are not suitable as a payment account. That is not a problem because I don’t want to pay with bitcoin. I regret all my past bitcoin payments (I do have a bitcoin debit card). I should have made those past payments with fiat currency and I should have saved my bitcoins because the value of those bitcoins has gone up considerably. If you pay your coffee with bitcoin today you may remember it in the future as the most expensive coffee ever, much like the guy who paid 10.000 bitcoin for two pizza’s back in 2010.

Apart from the fact that I don’t want to pay with bitcoin, bitcoin is also not suitable for most payments. There is not enough transaction processing capacity, the fees are too high, the confirmation times are too long and bitcoin is not yet generally accepted. A cryptocurrency payment account requires different or additional technology. This could be the bitcoin lightning network or another cryptocurrency that has a much bigger transaction capacity like for example IOTA (IOTA uses a two dimensional tangle instead of the one dimensional blockchain). Several altcoins also consider themselves as a useful cryptocurrency for payments. Altcoins like Bitcoin Cash, Monero, DigitalCash and Zcash could develop into useful currencies for payments but currently their acceptance is very limited. For now I will keep paying my bills with old fashioned fiat currency but that could change in the near future.

My conclusion is that for the time being bitcoin is more like virtual gold. It is however in a savings account and can be transferred much easier than the real gold. In the future the lightning network and/or altcoins will probably also provide virtual cash in suitable payment accounts.

That is basically all right indeed, bitcoin as of the moment served as a gold online like asset that serve as a investment vehicle of people as of the moment. We indeed know that the payment system of bitcoin is not that yet fast and charge is at all time highs, this set up might not be ideal to payment system for it will further burden users than help them, satoshi will definitely like this.

Bitcoin is just starting to be notice by the investors especially in stocks, it might be very volatile in nature but the return is quite remarkable since the start of it  in the year 2009, many believe that this will further in the coming years, just this year it rose over 600% by this writing if only we knew this then , right?? But this year is still a good time to invest and we just need to wait.

This means that more and more people are getting into bitcoin for, the demand in atm's would not increase if there is no support for it. We know bitcoin is still young and all of the people who started it shared their story, with those testaments many people are engaging due to big returns.
