Expect the Alex devs to take even longer as they waste their time with the Lightning Network. Adoption now > big ideas later.

We also have plans for lightning on FLO since the segwit update, it's lower priority to other protocol code though, but definitely something near the top of our list ⚡️⚜️
Why does FLO need Lightning? Even if it increases 100x it can still do sub-penny micropayments.

What leads you to believe there's an exchange using the Flo blockchain?
If so, probably the people behind that exchange know which one. As for why, because Flo is great

FLO is fucking shitt coin .. .
I have been holding this shitt since June 2017 and following it.
But I tell you don't buy FLO .. Else you loose...
Their segwit /rebranding/ Atomic coming since June nothing delivered yet.
Earlier I also advised to invest on Flo but now we are going out from it..
So if you all are thinking to buy FLO don't do. Research go for some good project with good volume and great team.

Thats sounds great Joseph, I hope everyone uses FLO. But when I see litecoin instead of bitcoin cash it tells me youre betting on cross-chain atomic unicorn swaps in the future instead of 1 cent on-chain transactions with optional fees now. I wonder what the calculus is. Because Alexandria uses the Coinbase widget and Coinbase offers litecoin?
From my perspective it is two things:- We began development on this feature before BCH existed

Re-reading my comment it sounds a little pushy given the acrimonious context of bitcon legacy/cash. I didnt mean it that way at all. Ive been following you guys since 2014 and have always thought that you put the end user first.

Ignoring bitcoin cash is a huge mistake, but I guess market forces will eventually correct it.
In the long run we'd like to integrate a decentralized exchange (one of the various -DEX networks) into Alexandria because it would facilitate any currency supported on that DEX. Buying media with FLO would still take fewer steps. That's a built-in advantage of using our blockchain.Thats sounds great Joseph, I hope everyone uses FLO. Solved. For anyone else who encounters this on a mac os, I backed up my wallet.dat file and deleted everything in home/library/applicationsupport/florincoin directory except the wallet.dat file, then redownloaded the blockchain.

Poloniex just froze my account for no reason. Cannot trade or withdraw. Support has been unresponsive for 18 hours. Will update.

Was just frozen with zero communication. Nothing. Only thing I can think of is that I use Tor so perhaps logging in with different IPs within a certain period triggered a freeze? The only communication I have so far is a ticket number.
