All good now. Delayed BCH payout went through about an hour ago.

GM just missed BCH payout to my wallet yesterday (16.05.2018 - payout should be sent on 17.05.18).
Unfortunately "view transcation" option shows an error 404 with such description:

"It seems like we couldn't find what you were looking for neither on
the Bitcoin blockchain, nor on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, nor on the Ethereum blockchain 😞"

At the moment waiting for reply from VIP service.
Will update you once I know more.

BTW today my payout went through as it should. Yesterday they had some maintenance and this might be the reason.

Older Genesis Mining contracts have upkeep equal of 0,0004$ per gh/s and the new ones 0,00028$  per gh/s on open ended SHA 256 contracts.
They also just added direct BCH mining so there is a choice which is important because of ever growing difficulty.

I am mining with GM since the beginning of July 2016 and all the contracts are still active.

I cannot say a bad world about them except the fact they are way behind with tickets. This is a result of a security breach which happened about 9 months ago.
In my case I did receive probably about 99.9% of what I should receive. This is a great result if you think that they have to take care of 2 million customers.


This is just a matter of luck, difficulty and coin price. They use different mining pools just to diversify. They want to be decentralized as much as possible.

They just added Zcash with BTG 2 years contracts on presale. Contracts will start on 30th of April.
What do you think about it guys? Is it worth it? Hashflare have much worse price when it comes to Zcash.
5000 h/s cost 12 750 USD and ROI would be more or less after 1 year according to coinwarz calculator with current price and difficulty.

I think he meant that he already earned that much. His contract is finished by now.

Maybe but how many people still hold BTC since 60x times and how many still have BTC lifetime contracts?

Both investment are good and with investing into mining you take part in securing the network.
This is very important as we see recently with huge backolog and very high transcation fees.

I have BTC contracts with GM since 2016/07 and they still pay great even when BTC price is going down like in past weeks.
I don't need to worry that I will freak out, panic sell and so on.

Looks like they were waiting for the network to get better because transcation fees went down a lot just now.
It looks like a lot of new hashpower joined BTC network.

EDIT: BTC network is slow again. It looks like some hashpower is used only in case of emergency(like backup) because time of blocks mining fluctuate too much sometime.

Bitcoin mining is better then ever before.

At the moment quite few people have their old tickets solved finally but not me unfortunately.
Besides that I have only 18th of December missing. Everything else works spot on in my case and I must say that I made a lot of profit with them already.

In my opnion it is still very good investment. I am with them 18 months now with 108 Th/s on SHA-256.

Update from VIP assistance service:

"I confronted IT with this problem because they were telling yesterday, that the transaction 2017-12-18 was delayed due to the backlog. They confirmed now an transaction error so this transaction has to be repeated. I'm still waiting for them to tell me when they are planning to do that."

Agree something is wrong. I was already paid for 19th and fee was exactly the same as usual.
However my payout for 18th is only a report on GM account not real BTC.

In my opinion if backlog was responsible for that then older transcation should be picked first by miners.

They payouts have been sent.

At the moment the mempool is flooded. There is quite a large "waiting list". The only thing is to wait and be patient. IT confirmed that the payouts have been sent and I checked your account as well as others and some have received the payout for 2017-12-18 but all with a huge delay." ...

Finally an update from GM:

"Update: 12/20/2017

Due to growing fees on various networks and some exchanges raising their minimum deposit thresholds we have raised the minimum payout threshold for Bitcoin, Litecoin and Zcash. Click here for a complete list, but for easy reference the changed values are:
•Bitcoin 0.0025 BTC (was 0.0020)
•Litecoin 0.002 LTC (was 0.001)
•Zcash 0.001 ZEC (was 0.00005)"

In case some of us is wondering why they did not receive BTC payout Genesis Mining changed minimum payout threshold to 0,0025.

I understand this decision because of bigger higher transcation fees but from he other hand they did not inform about that at all...

EDIT: for your information I was posting all this info because for few days there was no contact with Genesis Mining and no payouts at the same time and believe it or not people appreciate when they know what is going on with their money...

UPDATE: Genesis Mining 12th of December payout is on the way now. Again no report in payout section. Commission scheduled for the 12th was paid also.
EDIT: Report for the 12th was just added, no report for 11th and 10th

UPDATE: Few hours ago Genesis Mining paid me for the 11th of December as well. At the moment they are back on the schedule. Just commissions are delayed.
