Re: INSP token in MEW?

Same for me.  The coins appeared in my account right after I participated in the Crowdholding ICO.  Not sure if the two are somehow related.

I think they might be, because I found this conversation after googling to find out what INSP was, after noticing them when I loaded my token list just now only minutes after sending my contribution for the Crowdholding ICO.

Re: USI Tech Coin ICO - legit or scam?
by

It's scam. They promise 12-16% per day as interest

12-16% a day? Where did you find that info

 TechCoin?

Yet another ponzi, propably we will hear soon about Das Coin, ponzi scheme created by OneCoin founders
Thay have kind of pseudo luxury offline meetings supported by celebrities his entry certification cost from
100euro to 25000 euro, all that money for piece of paper and some coins without blockchain even

Whatever they are referring to isn't USI-Tech. They are clearly confusing it with something else. I noticed there is a "TechCoin" (TECH) which may cause some confusion given the references to the "USI Tech coin" (UTC). USI, however, have never made such a ludicrous income claim, nor would they. They already have a well developed business and client base providing realistic earnings, and have built their company to the point of being able to launch new products.

The first 500 million coins are offered to existing clients before they will release the rest to the public.

I'd like to know where they found that too, because that's the first I've heard of such a thing and I'm a client of USI-Tech. At NO stage have they made such a claim, nor would they.
I can only assume they are confusing TechCoin or something else with USI-Tech's coin offering (UTC).

Re: [ANN] [SUMO] SUMOKOIN - Digital Cash For High-Confidential TXs

I creatad a wallet using the generator before syncing. I have since synced with the blockchain and followed the instructions below to restore the wallet. I've been mining since then, yet still have a 0 balance. How do I know I've definitely done it right??

I made a wallet through the site https://wallet.sumokoin.com/. Set up mining on this wallet, which got on the website, I can now use wallet generated on the site?

This wallet generator will give you a wallet address and all info to restore the wallet (using wallet client tool). Please make sure you backup all info along with the address, especially 26 seed words.

You can use the address to start mining with a pool, but to actually see balance and spend coins you'll need a TRUE wallet.

I've posted above how to start Sumokoin daemon and start a new wallet with binaries:

Quote
1. Download and extract binaries to a folder, say, C:/sumokoin-bin

2. Open cmd window, enter the following commands to start sumokoind daemon:

Code:
cd C:/sumokoin-bin
sumokoind

and wait a few minutes until screen message says sth like: You are sync with the network, start wallet now.

2. Open another command window (do not close daemon window), start wallet client:

Code:
cd C:/sumokoin-bin
sumo-wallet-cli

follow step-by-step guide to generate a new wallet, you'll have a new wallet address start with "Sumo...". Remember to write down 26 seed words so that you can recover wallet whenever you want.

To retore the wallet generated at wallet.sumokoin.com, please follow these steps (copied from Monero guide):

- Retrieve your 26 word mnemonic seed that you saved when generate Sumokoin wallet

- Open a command prompt and navigate to the drive and directory that contains sumo-wallet-cli

- At the command prompt type: sumo-wallet-cli --restore-deterministic-wallet

- Once you press enter you will be prompted for a wallet file name. Give your wallet a new name, any name will do

- Press enter again and you will be prompted for the 26 word electrum style mnemonic seed that you retrieved earlier

- Press enter again and you will be prompted for a password. Give your wallet a new and long password

- Press enter again you will be prompted to repeat the password

You will then be prompted with "Restore from specific blockchain height (optional, default 0):" Default will start the restore process from the beginning of the Sumokoin blockchain. If you don't know the specific blockchain height, just hit enter. (Specifying a specific blockchain height will start the restore process from that specific height. This will save a bit of time in scanning, if you know what starting blockchain height your initial funds were transacted for this specific account.)

After you have entered the 26 word mnemonic seed and have chosen your specific blockchain height, sumo-wallet-cli will generate the same public address and view key as your generated wallet and begin the refresh process automatically. (Please be patient as the refresh process may take a while.)

TokenDesk - you keep posting the same reply in response to the warning posted above. However, you fail address the issues raised in the warning post, particularly in regards to your team members, their backgrounds and the matter of the CEO appointment.
Can you please provide a statement on these matters.

I'm just curious to know if those who contribute at any particular stages (i.e. Pre-sale) will have access to the educational content?

Online education is the future. I think in 10-20 years many students will be educated from their home. I am sure this project has a lot of potentials.
I agree with you, this platform will be very useful. the future of remote education - this will give opportunity to teach more people regardless of geographic location

Not just geographic location either, but lifestyle, commitments, etc. Many people have been unable to access education post-high school because of time commitments, family commitments, work, etc. They can't make it to a set-schedule "classroom" environment not just because of their location, but because they have to be elsewhere at the time when the educational activity takes place. This is one of the reasons I was unable to study subjects I wanted to previously - because I had to work to pay the bills!
Now, people can access educational content in their own time, by their own schedule, wherever they can access the internet. You can be on holiday, at home eating dinner, on a lunch break, on the train to work, waiting to pick kids up from school... and still educate yourself.
It's definitely had an impact on my life. In fact, it's how I've learned most of what I have about cryptocurrency to date, among other subjects!
"Distance" and "Flexible" education are the future.

Any more details about your mentioned NEXTDEX (NEX) https://nextdex.io/?I think it's fake ico.

I have to say I am starting to question this one considerably. I cannot find any reviews on it, it's not listed on ICO rating websites. The only "review" is on their own facebook page. It looks rather dubious that no one seems to be talking about it and promotion is negligible. In fact, that's how I came by this thread in the forum, trying to find any discussion about it here, but there doesn't seem to be any.
