Nemo's  I have been using your miners for a few month and I love the simplicity of the automatic coin selection and auto sell and BTC deposit.

With the current situation of BTC fee's being so high do you think it would be better if pools switch to an other currency for the auto payout.

I would like to know what type of wallets you are using ?  I must not be only smaller miner wondering how to deal with the BTC transfer fees eating all my profits

 I have been using Jaxx for a while and just noticed today that on a typical deposit of .000250 BTC I pay a mining fee of 0.024 BTC ! Basically I am making nothing just paying fees !

NemosMiner-v2.0.2-Zpool

add a lot more stable-ability prevent oc/driver issues
add -Donate to start .bat next to BTC address

I have been running v2.0.2 for 24 hours now and no more crashing. thank you.

Question about the benchmark, is data refreshed during the run time or is only generated when the miner 1st starts.

Trying the new package and PC crashes after a few hours.

New version 2.0 causes my Win 10 PC (Nvidia drivers 382.05)  to crash and reboot. where as 1.7.4 and 1.7.5 were running without problems.
1080 Ti EVGA cards, running stock settings except for 80% PowerLimit in MSI Afterburner.

Ran for a few hours

I will get a few :
EventID 4109 - Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
followed by
EventID 4101 Application ccminer.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.

Restart and 4 hours later
EventID 4109 - Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
EventID 4101 - Application ccminer-x64.ex has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.

Gone back to the 1.7.5 package.

Seeking to improve Rx 480 performance.

- SAPPHIRE NITRO+ (100406NT+4GOCL) RX 480 4GB model with V9  runs at 220 H/s at factory  core 1306 / mem 1750  ( I think I can do better )

I tried pushing the mem over 2000 to duplicate other settings I saw posted on this thread but the PC crashed.
Card was headless so I plugged a monitor to it, same speed.  (ULPS is disabled for the card)

I have a Sapphire Fury running on same PC at 330 H/s using V9.

I see lots of references to bios mod's is the outcome the same as manually setting the Core and memory clocks in trixx or msi afterburner ?

Also I recall back in the day of Silt bios modes AMD was using signed bios's so it was reported to be impossible to modify bios without have a certificate to re-sign the bios file. Did AMD that drop that requirement ?

I think I found my I can't get better performance for this card (ref http://www.legitreviews.com/sapphire-nitro-radeon-rx-480-4gb-video-card-review_184553/10)

"This overclock meant that we were running at up to 1370 MHz at time and the memory was running at 1900 MHz (7600 MHz effective) on the 4GB of GDDR5 memory. Not the highest overclock in the world, but you have to keep in mind the reference cards boost speed is 1266MHz and the Nitro RX 480 4GB cards are the ‘fallout’ from the binning process done by Sapphire as the best chips become higher clocked Nitro RX 480 8GB cards.

We could not get 8000MHz effective clock speeds on the memory and Sapphire confirmed that the Radeon RX 480 4GB comes with slower Hynix GDDR5 memory chips and that hitting 8GHz would be unlikely. If we went much over 1900MHz the system would hard lock. If we overclocked much higher on the core the system would also lock up. We were able to get some games to run at 1385MHz with stability, but others would crash. At 1370MHz on the core we played a handful of games and they all were stable with this particular card"

fyi I tried kminer-1.2b miner referenced in this thread

My system Windows 8.1 running Cat 13.12 drivers, cpu 1 core sempron 145
3 x 7970 PowerColor cards with Stilt mod bios running 1080/1500

kminer-1.2b give 1627h h/s at 600 watts, dev fee 0.7%
vs
claymore 8 cat 13.12 1620 h/s using 650 watts. dev fee 5%

So kminer1.2b and Claymore 8 are just about the same at mining speed, but dev fee is lower 0.7% vs 5% and uses 50 watts less on my rig.

Nice to see some competition

How does one get this miner to work with multiple GPU's ?.

I have two 7970 cards, --mining-threads=1 or 2 or 3 or 4 gives the same results. Only one card is showing GPU Core activity in GPU-Z.

in the %appdata%\boold\miner_conf.json, the    "device_index": 1, or   "device_index": 0, lets me use either cards but I did not find the syntax that would allow both to work.

Also my log files always contain these two errors,  Do I have any errors in my config file ?
14-Aug-05 20:41:52.995227 [miner 1][OCL 0/1] error:  CL_INVALID_VALUE
14-Aug-05 20:41:52.995227 [miner 1][OCL 0/1] platform index must me between 0
d 4294967295

I get this errors all the time with a miner_conf.json file or without.

Running on Windows 8.1 with AMD 13.2 drivers

With the newest version I still get stuck at Address : Initializing.

I have loaded a wallet.bin that was created and still works with Simplewallet.exe

Hmm, then it means the daemon is working fine (reporting it has finished downloading the blockchain), but the wallet has a problem.

Could you send me your simplewallet.log?

From tomorrow I'll be offline for a few days, so expect radiosilence.

You can get the miner from the top of the tread.  You need the roulettecoin-qt.exe running locally on a computer.

for windows create file  in %AppData%\Roaming\Roulettecoin\roulettecoin.conf

with the following content

rpcuser=ANY
rpcpassword=any
rpcport=8668
rpcallowip=*
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
gen=0

To mine with the custom miner running on same computer as wallet.

minerd.exe -o 127.0.0.1:8668 -u ANY -p any -t 6

use the -t to set your thread count.

if it works you'll see

by

A few questions about the Sandor11 cpuminer when used with 5 chip gridseed

1. How do you know the Autotune has completed ? From what I understand Autotune will increase is small steps 25 Mhz if not more than 3 hardware errors are detected if this is the case it drop down by 25 Mhz.

I just see these type of messages

[2014-04-29 22:33:4.217] 8@0 850MHz: Got nonce 70fe0200, Hash <= Htarget!
[2014-04-29 22:33:4.219] 8@0: 2821 steps until frequency adjusts to 875MHz
[2014-04-29 22:33:4.232] 8@0: accepted 3/3 (100.00%) 72.0/143.5/2152.9 (Pool: 2391.5) KH/s

I've never seen any message about Autotune having  completed  how is the end result displayed

2. Is it possible to dual mine Scrypt and SHA256 using Sandor11 cpuminer, and or in conjunction with another miner.

3. I have one Gridseed miner that only has a red flashing LED, Green one never turns on. it seems to be working fine. this is a replacement unit from ZoomHash wondering if I have another lemon.

Are GridSeeds really this fragile, I purchase 10 and 6 are defective do to a PSU short ? ( is this possible)

Hello Gridseed users.

I purchase a 10 unit GridSeed package that came with a Raspberry PI and 10 port USB hub and two 10A 120 to 12 VDC PSU'.

I connected all the 10 GridSeeds to a the USB hub and powered it up,  then I connected a 1 group of 5 gridseed to a 10A 12 PSU (XHY PV-12012000) using a fan out 1 to 5 power cable supplied with the kit. The other 5 GridSeeds were connected in the same way.  I powered up one group of 5, and when I plugged the second PSU I huge spark was seen on the 12 VD DC line of the 1 to 5 fanout cable all the fans started and then stopped.

I unpluged the PSU and tried it on only one GridSeed and the PSU was dead. It's green LED was no logner on and my voltmeter showed no 12 volt reading.  I then tested each of the 5 Gridseeds and not one would power on, Could they all have died, I though impossible but I got out a better quality 120 to 12V transformer made for CB radio and the 5 devices no longer powered on, and when directly conntected to a USB port no led.  The continuity tester on my volt meter shows a short on all of them !.

So I powered-up the other 5 Gridseeds left the room for a few minitues, when I returned all of the units has stopped and the fans where vibrating a making a whining noise.  I noticed that the PSU's green LED was flickering.  So the second PSU was no longer able to power the load of 5 Gridseeds not even mining.  I later discovered that the second PSU was only have to operate a Gridseed for a few minutes before apparently dieing out.

I purchase this kit from Zoomhash.com, and I opened a support ticket.  I've played with electrical gadgets for a while and have seen my fare share of cheap made in china power supplies die. But never have I seen damage on this scale occur so fast; Out of my 10 GridSeeds only 4 work after this "incident", 5 don't even power-on and the 6th powers on but the USB circuit appears dead and the internal LED never come on.

I am really regretting that I did not take the time to test each unit one at a time on my PC to determine that each was working properly as I was so excited to and wanted to get the devices working fast.

I'm still at a lose as to what might have cause this chain of events ?  Could a short in one of Gridseed has caused a leak of the 12V dc in the USB circuit and back in the USB Hub and back in the other GridSeed's ? The USB hub also is dead.
 Huh

Picture of PSU that I suspect was the cause of all this destruction.

I've used the site to sell XPM and PTS shares for CNY and I've purchased back BTC

A few weeks ago they had the best Ask price for XPM and PTS.

Google translate does a good job on the main page.

The account creation page in english is here : http://zc.qq.com/en/index.html

Getting support is a bit more complex, last week they had wallet issues with withdrawls.

You need to install the Chines Tencent QQ chat software and reach one the English speakers; TAME ID 46514171

I've never lost any coins here, but I send in trade, and send out, never leaving any balances.

Thank you for creating this pool.

I've been mining for about 24 hours with about 5000 Khash. I was expecting to see some BTC payout after 24 hours ( my payout threashold is set at .05 BTC

Has anyone in this Pool recevied any payout yet ?

I've noticed that this pool switch coins very often, miners have to restart, does this cause wasted hash rate and a lower payout than sticking with LTC ?
