What value resistor did you mod with? If you went 39k ohm, you probably won't see much higher than 988mhz.

You can use a normal iron, for the capacitor and resistor changes, I just used a fine tipped 40 watt soldering iron, however for changing a mosfet you will need a hot air setup.

How many hardware errors over a good run of say 6 hours? Post a screenshot of your cgminer screen, you may have got a miner that runs happily at 888 Mhz however remember each hardware error is lost income and wasted power.

You will struggle to get past 850 Mhz without volt molding, out of 10 individual blades this was my safe limit, many were happier at 838 Mhz with much lower hardware errors than 850 Mhz, this seems to be the sweet spot if overclocking non volt modded blades.

If your RPi is not dealing with a heavy load and providing your running the unit on a good power supply, just overclock the RPi,  overclocking is now built into the standard OS Hashra has built their image on just login via SSH, and run:

sudo raspi-config

The RPi config screen will be shown, just choose overclocking and pick an option, this will not void your RPi warranty.

From the two blades I am getting about 13.8 mh/s with an average of about 1.6 h/w errors per hour over the pair of blades, I will be increasing the clock once I've a 24 hour run under my belt, I suspect a combined total 14.5 mh/s maybe possible across the two units.

I have modded two complete blade units so far, I found rotating the whole blades orientation gives less hardware errors over the long term, allowing for better heat dissipation, I just fitted sticky pads to the metal heat sink, so you have the foam sheets out to the side rather than on the top or bottom.

I fitted the following a 35v 220uf capacitor, 43k ohm resistor 0.1 +/-, 2 Northbridge heat sinks and fans attached on the rear of each power board, passive heatsinks on the FETs and choke.

Running very stable at 1013mhz, with virtually no hardware errors at all.

Best I have found is the Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM Slim 92mm, I fit them to all the Jallys I have worked on when you need much needed noise reduction Wink

If your IP is whitelisted it means you should not be being blocked, e.g your ip is no longer on the black list being blocked and has now been added to the white list, allowing full access to the site.

Miners on this site are pretty price savvy no one will give you 1200 GBP for 60ghs, your best bet is ebay you will get 700 - 800 GBP for your miner.

Due to the units now very low value, I would suggest they are beyond economical repair, however I am sure someone in the marketplace here or ebay would buy them from you for spares / repair.
