Re: What is the most possible Ethereum competitor?
by

I think Bitcoin cash and Litecoin are the possible competitors of ETH since they were also getting popular now. Litecoin though has smaller price but it looks promising and has potentials. But I think ETH is still better than other altcoins.

Well, I agree on Bitcoin Cash, LiteCoin are two of the best competitors of Ethereum but for me it's NEO as it is also the mother of the smart contracts that became some of the top altcoins in coinmarketcap.com
Just like Ethereum, NEO is fast, scalable and reliable and I think in the future, NEO will surpass Ethereum's market cap.

Guys! Let's list the most possible competitors of Ethereum.

Ethereum competitor is for me, NEO.
NEO have smart contracts just like Ethereum and it has almost the same features as Ethereum as well like scalability, transaction speed, smart contracts and more.
NEO had more investors and supporters as well and it's backbone is a top notch as well.
But in reality, Ethereum is the strongest altcoin in the crypto market today and was predicted that it will surpass Bitcoin's market cap in the future.

Re: How hard is it to write an ICO whitepaper?
by

on 17/05/2018, 17:09:04 UTC
this would be more logical if these things would really be applied into writers itself which this would really beneficial on their part.
Thanks again for the fresh ideas. This again shows how useful third party feedback is when you don't see the wood for the trees anymore with your product. Smiley

That's the thing.
A writer must know his works, his crypto project and his visions in order to write good white paper because it's one of the most important for investor to check whether it's worth for investments and for the risks.
Developers are focusing on their tasks and the main architect must create a good white paper that will help promote the project to the public.

It's painful hard when you don't know what you're writing for your White Paper.
the crypto project developer must know is work and the full function of his project or product in order to show to the public that your project or product development needs more funding and investments.
White Paper is one of the hardest thing to make when you choose to earn high income through crypto market.

Ripple was always suspicious to me, firstly because of absence of decentralization, so I am not surprised. To my mind we will not see any profits more from this currency. It's a pity, but news about it does not encourage Sad

Well, I am a full supporter of Ripple as I invested couple of grand last year on 4th quarter.
Although Ripple had gone almost $3 this January but I choose to hold it because Ripple is on my long-term category of investments.
Ripple isn't different from other altcoins today that facing some issues,

Ripple is down 16% despite the fabulous news about it, like the results of the first pilot study.

A week ago a class-action lawsuit was filed against the CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, as well as the parent company Ripple Labs. The lawsuit claims that the cryptocurrency is scamming people. It was filed in California by Ripple’s very own investors.

Do you think, it will continue to drop?

When I checked on coinamerketcap.com, Ripple is always stable in spite of controversies and I don't think when they're down it's do from that lawsuit things.
Ripples partnership didn't made the pump but people on the free market will decide Ripple price value because crypto traders are earning money shile holders will even earn more profit if they keep on holding their crypto assets and their Ripple.

There are some phishing sites, they imitate etherdelta, but they have subtle differences, maybe etherdelta2.com, or etherdelte.com, so when you have to open your eyes.

EtherDelta isn't safe this year due to many attacks on their servers and even on their DNS that you'll then redirected on their clone phishing website in order to get your keys.
Phishing is one of their main attack because blockchain servers are 99% attack proof so their only way to get money is to attack crypto holders remotely.

hi folks I want to warn all the participants in the airdrops There are a bunch of scammers They steal the privet key of myetherwallet i dont know how they do that but i think by sending you an email and when you check the email and click on it they can access to all the file in your pc and steal the key i dont know how that works i'm not an expert so don't put any of the private key in the computer or in your phones .

It's ok to join any bounty campaigns or airdrops available on this forum but never give your private keys for you not to be scammed.
Open MyEtherWallet on your browser and hit bookmark in order not to open phishing sites in the future.
That will prevent you on losing your crypto assets because you are the owner of your wallet and you are only the responsible on taking care of it.

Nothing is lost if you have not sold anytime yet. Now, why are you stressed out with the losses, firstly, why are you selling them at the low price? Think what you should have not done. At least you will know where you fell so you know where to pick up your self. Secondly, as has always been said, do not invest at the amount you cannot afford to lose. Use extra money, better if small extra money then you your profit to re invest and so on and so forth.

Re: which altcoins are good at the moment to buy?
by

on 17/05/2018, 16:43:04 UTC
Ethereum is always a good choice of altcoin if you are looking for good altcoins to buy. It is easily the best altcoin project out there and once they implement POS which removes the need for miners then the price of ethereum will go up higher than we ever imagined. There are some other good altcoins out there for you to buy too but ethereum is the best one.

I am in favor in Ethereum as it is the strongest Altcoin in the crypto market today.
But not only ethereum has the potential to surpass Bitcoin's, just like NEO, Bitcoin Cash, LiteCoin and ZCash... recently they're about to blow and their market cap were surging and investors earned higher profits and rewards of holding.
For me, top altcoins are worth to buy.

I am a little hesitant to choose altcoins at this time, according to friends, which altcoins are good to buy and can give a profit to me?

There are no way to predict the future of every altcoins this time but most of them are claiming that they will become huge market in the nearest future so I think everyone do spend a lot of time for research for each altcons that we're going to invest because some of them will pump after few weeks and most of them will drop or dump or will stay on their price ranges for a long period of time.

The only strange but Cool Project to me is CEDEX that will revolutionize the way we trade diamonds and other precious stones and gems.
it is adapt blockchain for diamond trading in order to document the history of a single stone from the mine into the end owner for each piece.
I had invested CEDEX last week and I am looking forward for it's success when it bumped on more popular exchanges like Binance or Bitfinex.

This is really bad informations for crypto market. Everything will change, i hope it will not destroy market, and will be good. Especially now when all prices are red

I really don't like to consider it a bad news for crypto enthusiasts or organizing crypto and ICOs because for me good ICOs could promote anywhere regarding their ICO information so google is not the only tool who could stop ICOs to promote and advertise their ICO sale.
I do believe that there are too many channels and places to pin their ICO ads like this forum.
I think this forum is enough for them to push their ICOs into popularity.

last two weeks, Google announced that they will ban or no longer support or accept any ico or crypto related ads on their platforms next to Facebook announcement.
due to that, investors and Crypto enthusiasts felt worried for the outcome due to Google's biggest help and participation on promoting ICOs and attract more investors.
But it's a game changer because scammers or fake ICOs were being advertised on Google and Facebook and ruins investors money as they fall into those scammers.
investor put their trusts on Google and Facebook because the advertisements look legitimate.

does the altcoin you think is very good to follow in an investment in the long term or short term?

I am investing altcoins for both short-term and long-term because it depends on the project.
I invested Ripple for long-term because other than it's a good coin and fast in transaction speed - giant companies and countries are trying to make partnership with Ripple and I do believe that it will soon surge it's price value.
I invested Oyster Pearl PRL and Debitum for shirt term because I saw their potential to be the next top altcoins in the near future.

have a look on Oyster, Fortknoxter too. They are really nice projects and have more potential then sia and storj.
I am holding oyster and planning to buy more and more
What do you think about BEE token and SIRIN LABS?

BeeToken vs. Sirin Labs?
I choose Sirin Labs over BeeToken because Sirin is more poplar as they are the only developer of the most expensive Android phone of the planet.
they had proven their worth so Sirin Labs will become the next big crypto in the near future as I am started to list it down as my next coin to invest.

Now I want to hold some low value in the market, I have learn about Sirin Labs, Siacoin, Storj.
Can you give me some ideas?
I want to hold the application coin.

those coins you had mentioned are online storage utility coins as token for storing and accessing remote files.
But the most unique and effective coin for online storage is Oyster Pearl PRL. it's main net will be launched around this coming April (next month) and people will do start to save their files in the tangle that is completely anonymous that nobody could retrieve their files except the owner because the files will be first split before distributed to the tangle.

the result of the world crypto convention had made up the crypto market rise in a couple of days until that Binance created new FUDs to investors that they were the target of authorities due to some crypto exchange related issues so people then dumped their Bitcoin and other altcoins.
FOMOs and FUDs are the worst reasons why crypto market declined abruptly.

Re: What happens to all ICO when they bump the exchange?
by

In general, most of the ICO project is hype, so when they open, is the highest price, then can present a gradual decline, that is why I am not willing to invest ICO, most of the ICO is bubble.

some ICOs are having their prices declined due to investors are already getting enough profits but the crypto price is indeed unpredictable because nobody would know when will the price Wil increase or decrease.
But most of the time, after ICO and they bumped into coin exchanges, they will soon rely on it's marketing and development team because the effectiveness of the project is the most basis on the price value.

when new altcoin bumped int o coin exchanges there would be an adjustments for it's price value.
I supposed to think that half of them the price will become higher in coin exchange and half of them decreases due to the effectiveness of the project.
If the project is highly in demand then that's the good reason why prices should go higher otherwise the free crypto market will decide every altcoin's fate.
