Re: How do we spot the crypto bottom?
by
nicedreams
on 04/07/2022, 18:50:46 UTC
No one can tell the exact, or can predict it.
Instead what we can do is just calculate and predict it by evaluating the situation.
In my opinion, if you seek for extra profits or become too greedy, then eventually you will miss the best time to buy the coin.
I just shared a similar perspective a while ago. No one can be that shrewd as to continue to wait for Bitcoin to fall deeper that it's doing now. It has already offered its fans enough discount. Yet, those who wished they had bought in when it was $50,000 or $40,000 or $30,000 still dillydally on it now that it's below $20,000 aren't smart. The best option and strategy for anyone interested in getting Bitcoin or other alts of their choice should be to DCA on them right now. Investors shouldn't be too greedy to squeeze out every juice in terms of cheap pricing from every project.
Even though I know what you said is true, most investors with small capital can't afford that. Their fund is too low so they want to squeeze out every possible juice they can get to increase their profit margin. Or even try to DCA only when it comes close to the bottom as much as they can. So it always has that kind of investor who tries to spot the bottom no matter what.

Re: El-salvador bitcoin investment is underwater
by
nicedreams
on 04/07/2022, 18:16:30 UTC
By investing in bitcoin, El Salvador has already taken a significant risk. They are aware of the issues involved and equipped to deal with the difficulties that will arise. Given El Salvador's position in the global economy, their brave move will be regarded with respect. Before making this decision, the president must have carefully considered the market's ups and downs. No man will endanger a nation unless he is fully aware of the investments he is making with the nation's money and has a backup plan in place.
Of course investing in bitcoin is very risky, and has now experienced a huge drop of almost 50% from the news price when Elsalvador bought Bitcoin. So far it's been very sad, but actually I'm glad there are countries that believe in Bitcoin and make it a state asset and legalize it as payment. Although I've only seen from the news and Bukele doesn't provide any concrete evidence that they have bought a lot of Bitcoins. But if the four year cycle repeats itself and there will be new high prices it is possible that El Salvador will become a prosperous country.
I fear the El Salvador case, investing in Bitcoin and at loss now only make more bad name for Bitcoin. If the El Salvador economy takes a downhill, no doubt that investment in Bitcoin will become a dead weight and under heavily criticized.

Re: ETH gas fees are low....A great time to get in?
by

I think with low gas fees, I rather buy more ETH than other tokens in its ecosystem tho. Alts are too risky for now so low gas fees and fast transactions don't seem to outweigh the risk of it. Especially when ETH PoS is also around the conners.

Re: Doge coin in trouble?
by

on 03/07/2022, 19:46:48 UTC
I think the coin doge is indeed one of the coins that runs according to the regulations that have been set, and there is no pyramid scheme even though Elon musk can control the coin but he can't fully do it, for the upslaught until the lawsuit occurs I think it's just a waste of time to continue the matter, because this is not possible because the coin doge has been present for a long time before Elon musk was interested in joining the crypto world, then the news is not entirely what we can believe.
Maybe it would discourage Elon Musk from shills for Doge in the future since he got called out and a sue case tail to tainted his fame? It might now harm him much but it might hurt Doge chance to free press by everytime he want to tweet about it.

Re: Was $17.5K the low?
by
nicedreams
on 03/07/2022, 19:36:00 UTC
Since it was not sitting at $19k, only shy a little more away from $17.5k, I say it going to break that price and set a lower price. Though, $19k seems like the resistance point for BTC right now. Keep seeing any time it hit lower than $19k, strong buying to drive the price back up. Maybe someone DCA at that point? What would happen when it finally breaks the $19k?

Re: How can i earn a passive income with Altcoins?
by
nicedreams
on 03/07/2022, 17:57:15 UTC
The easy and safe thing we do for earnings with altcoins is to use it for staking, even though the market is still red but I can earning from staking in some top exchanges and dex exchanges, besides that if we focus on the long term then use altcoins for staking is the thing better.
Yes, staking is one thing we can do in times of market conditions like this to keep making a profit,
but then again not everyone can do that and they also need to consider,
Top altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, or Matic I think it's worth buying and suitable for long term investment
Staking should only be done to really good top altcoins that have a good future ahead. Not just any stake able altcoin in the market fall under this category so I believe we should careful in choosing what coin for staking.

Re: “When” Will Bitcoin Price Break $69k All Time High?
by
nicedreams
on 02/07/2022, 20:41:57 UTC
Certainly not for this year, at least. We're now at early July, the start of Q3/2022 and Bitcoin already showing some shabby movement, seems like going down again. This time, $17k won't be its lowest price. All just the start of Q3/2022. For it to back on the bull mode and make all its way to the last ATH and break it, doing all of that on this year alone? Impossible.

Re: BNB or ETH ?
by
nicedreams
on 02/07/2022, 20:24:45 UTC
Right now, in terms of savings, it is better to use BNB. It is cheaper and faster than ETH transactions, but I think if BNB has the same number of projects as ETH, the blockchain might not be able to handle the load. In general, I don't understand the hype around Ethereum. I guess there is a lot of money and serious people behind it, there is no other explanation why people use it.
True, most tokens have moved to the BNB to take advantage of the BNB ecosystem. Guess there will be a 'pass down' where ETH become more like BTC, a monolith in term of price while BNB become more like ETH a few years ago. Since the next ETH PoS is around the corner so unless the ETH 2.0 did address the fee problem, they could turn back the table.

Re: WHY is Terra pumping ?
by
nicedreams
on 02/07/2022, 20:03:51 UTC
From what I understand, the main reason why Terra pumping is because both have a low 24h trade volumes compared to before. Most investors have left the coins for good. Couple it with some good news and you will have new investors FOMO and thought Terra could back to the old price.

When everyone try to get their money out of stocks, cryptos over a long time right now then I say it was a good time to invest in them. No, don't do it in one goes. Do it in the DCA way to mitigate most of the risks of buying in too soon or too high.

Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption?
by

on 27/06/2022, 18:42:59 UTC
Stop thinking about government's restrictions for this time. We have to take a look at people's minds to see why they ain't embrace Bitcoin and worldwide adoption for it. Can you guess it? Yes, it was because not everyone wants to be a holder or I meant a Bitcoin investor because of Bitcoin or crypto volatility. It is relatively easy to see the high volatility discourages people from using it. If you think Bitcoin can be comparable to gold, you're wrong. Gold has a lot of other uses which make it not likely to go down, or lose its value.

Re: Binance signs Cristiano Ronaldo for exclusive partnership to push NFTs
by

I would say that is a killer blow to the competition from Binance. CUZ sure knows how to deal the business hands. I noticed Binance has a heavy presence in European sports especially the beautiful game. It is already a big sponsor of SS Lazio and other football franchise. That's cool
Binance does look like they're trying to top over any other exchange on the market with this move, hiring Cristiano Ronaldo for their campaign. They aim for the EU zone which still has a lot of investors or higher investment power compared to other regions like North America, Latin, East Asia, MENA, SEA,...

It will go along with the crypto market right now: down. Unless there is a bull signal for the whole market, I don't see it could hit back even the $600 price this year.

I've bought a good number of BNB when it was hovering around $200. I think this is a good price and BNB will a strong future ahead of it as long as CZ manage his exchange well, all the thing he did like before. I also think the recent price drop was because of SEC fud so it is better to get BNB when it's cheap thanks to that.

Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better
by
nicedreams
on 26/06/2022, 19:51:19 UTC
This market moves and not everyone is happy with the profits that have been made. Instead, a sad mood covers the minds of new entrants who are suffering losses. I also went through a period where I saw losses every day and it didn't leave my mind; when it was all over, I knew the solution was to simply do your job well and then consider investing in something with the expectation of a return. A formula that I find quite simple, but if we haven't experienced it, it will be difficult for us to see how it is right.
I never cared about my expenses earlier but a person like me is now so concerned about oil and other expenses that I started walking more towards stores. and I take the car out once in a week and do all my stuff at the same time. We are not panic but we have aligned our routine accordingly.
Yes, but letting too many burdens on you could easily lead you to panic. You can't keep on hodl when your next days, every daily necessity like food, cooking oil, petro oil,... skyrocketed. Say, a chart showing you at -10% hit different when your life is secure vs when you ran out of money for rent or food.

You would definitely panic if your basic necessities are at risk.
If we are talking about next month's rent or daily food for the table, we are more concerned about our funds.
But if you have spare funds, more than likely, you can think of holding some of your portfolio.
But with our current market condition, and I believe, it is global problem these days, gas and other commodities rising.
We need to be aware where we put our money and how we can reduce our bills or expenses.
Yeah, it was a global problem and the same for everyone in every country except for the middle class and up. I mean it thin down your will to hold as necessities price increase. You wouldn't sell and cash out all of your investmen but push you toward the way to sell some of it just to cover the mark up price in necessities.

Re: Be careful buying alts right now
by

on 26/06/2022, 19:05:46 UTC
If you have decided to buy altcoins at the current price, you should be prepared for the fact that the price will continue to decline and you will hold a losing position. And in the case of a continued decline in the price, you should have enough stablecoins left to get a good average position by buying altcoins at a low price.
That's what everyone in this thread is thinking. But the market has taste for doing the opposition when everyone is so sure about it. I think we've at nearly the bottom, even if it falls, the overall trend will be bound back.

Re: Tron (TRX) Discussion
by
nicedreams
on 25/06/2022, 18:52:27 UTC
I think the altcoins that I save and not too drop are Tron, when the price of Bitcoin is around $ 30k, the price of a trron is around 8 cents, and the current position is the price of Bitcoin around $ 21K or a drop of more than 30% but the Tron only drops 14% to around 6 cents, From Tron's ranking position continues to improve and I am optimistic before November will be ranked top 10.
Tron's price last year was not as hype or fomo as other coins, Tron was only able to rise at $0.16 last year,
and currently Tron's decline is also not as massive as other coins, so that's why I didn't choose Tron in this bear market for the long term,
because we know that, yes like about USDD being linked will suffer the same fate as UST, of course Tron will also be affected, and I totally avoid
Last year, Tron was very underwhelmed. Now, it performed better than other altcoins in the market. But as you have said, USDD was a risk and discourage new investors into the Tron network. If you are willing to risk, here are my take: Tron foundation understands its USDD risk and can turn off the peg if they want while also trying to get more fund to bait out as well.

I don't see any reason why Bitcoin cash could reach $2000 in 2026. Usually, a coin from a splitting chain doesn't really have anything interesting over its counterpart. Doubt Bitcoin cash could see it time when Bitcoin still dominates the crypto market.

Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign
by

on 24/06/2022, 18:38:44 UTC
There are so many bounty campaign that moderate by newbie with 2/3 activities, is that kind of bounty are safe and believable?
The Odds are very small that they are reliable and risk free , But i have seen several bounties that had been runs by Newbie and even freshly created account but as it is a company representative that wanted to interact with us directly so they choose to run with their own than hiring managers.

But if you are not willing to spend your time without any single token then best to not joining those new account running a bounty .
Yeah, even if they were freshly made accounts as the company representatives, still carry a risk of unpaid after the bounty ended. So for that case, try to deem if that project/company is legit and serious enough in their effort to manage the bounty campaign. If they doing in the half-heart attempt, lax rule then most likely they just want to get as many people in to shill their shitty tokens and scoot away.
