Hi all,
I have been working for the last 2 months on a new project involving EverGreenCoin and here are the updates:
1-The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Energetics and Applied Informatics agreed to grant access to their 8Kw photovoltaic power system so I can test the EGC based green certificate system from renewableenergy.london project.
2- the EverGreenCoin will be the first Altcoin that will have the first transaction from Stratospehere as on my www.iasinspace.ro (soon available in english as well) project I have custom designed a program that will send 5 EGC/5 min straight from a helium ballon using a raspberry pi2 platform and a GPS/GPRS modem. The cool part is that it embeds the gps location/ altitude in each transaction.
I am planning to send 30 EGC transactions during the flight so if you want to be a part of this experiment and support the EGC, for $10 worth of EGC I will sent 5 EGC to your wallet, embed your name and mail address in that transaction and also send you via e-mail the best picture of all the flight.
All donations can be sent to EULYpvcbjZ7VLzQWJepcHWDYgKFcy7pJds address and after the experiment is over, I will also release the wallet file so you can check the "comment" and "comment-to" of the transaction (gps location/ altitude of each transaction).
The "comment-to" will contain your name and mail address, meaning that your name will travel in stratosphere and it will be embeded in the EverGreenCoin blockchain for ever. You will also become the first owner of an strato EGC. Cool huh?
15% of the final earnings will be sent to EGC Devs to to support the EverGreenCoin Foundation.

After reviewing the code, I found a backdoor that searches files on your computer for the words "muslim" or "communism" and if it finds them, it puts you on a watchlist.

Hello! I'm having issues loading my wallet. when I load my wallet, a Runtime Error Occurs. It says " The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

And after this msg alert another msg saying " EvergreenCoin-Qt.exe has stopped working" and then crashes.
I tried reinstalling the wallet, but the same problem persists.

Try rebooting your machine prior. This issue has been reported by some windows users of the latest version, 1.1.1.0. Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused you and other users.
Reebooting isn't helping!! All my coins are held up in the wallet.
As long as you make a backup of wallet.dat, everything will be fine no matter what else goes wrong
So make a backup of wallet.dat. Copy it somewhere safe.I once had a wallet of a different coin that would no longer function after the anti virus software updated. It had removed a .dll the wallet needed. Later, I discovered it was a false positive on the .dll because the anti virus software removed it from the quarantine list of files in its next update
If this was really a bernie coin then where is the free stuff. You should do an airdrop or some sort of system that pays users for doing nothing every day or maybe an interest rate or like a wellfare type system that pays a lump sum every week or month, just something to really make this coin unique and true to the Bernie Sanders system.

...i ONLY use a daemon under linux - and its ONLY console ... so i had no idea about the gui wallet ...
CLI MASTAHthe gui method really does make it easy ... i just wont ( actually cant ) use it on the vps daemons

I've been renting from him for about four months now. No problems, zero complaints.
I'm a pretty small customer, just renting the .0075 vps, but he's been cool, always responsive. When I PM him with a question, he's always got back to me pretty quickly and been helpful.
If your concern is stability, you've got nothing to worry about. So far my vps has been accessible 100% of the time and the bandwidth is kickass.

On linux, the file must be named "coin.conf" (do not substitute "republiccoin" for "coin", literally it's "coin.conf") in the directory /home//.republiccoin.
Replace with your username. Ubuntu, jiminycricket, whatever.
On first run, if the folder doesn't exist, it will be created.
