Bitcoin is not a recognized currency and is currently being considered as black money. The problem is that many use bitcoins for gambling and illegal trades as one can open a bitcoin wallet without any proof. This is the major reason, it's considered illegal.
The reason for that is that it comes under consideration to be money laundering, so that makes it illegal

I am actually interested in the setting up part. Not for the ponzi script, but for the dice site clones that are available on github . Will you be able to help on that ? And obviously, an escrow would do ?

There are mainly 2 for me. Moonbitcoin and freebitcoin.Never tried any other faucet site out
1. Non-deposit bonus to try the site (if it is NEW) 2. If it is Old sites, they should give reward to their loyal player. 3. Jackpot for Nice Hand like 4 of a kind, straight flush, Royal Flush etc. 4. Free rolls is a must.
Most of these already exist on the site. One thing I like and see only on one site is the use of Krills. Just like pokerstars offers player classes, we need something like that for the BTC poker community as well.

Re: Question about the price gap between BTC-E and Bitstamp
You are a genius I will post this image on their weibo's page if they will not reimburse me. I still hope they will send me my altcoins .
Since the altcoins didn't get stolen. I see no reason why they would not finally allow withdraw of them. But I don't understand, why not already allow it. Are they waiting for another hack to occur on the altcoins, so they can get an excuse to keep them as well.

Re: Bitcrea » PROFESSIONAL GRAPHIC DESIGN » Logo - Brand Identity - Webdesign - Etc.
bankcrupty it's not best way, if will resume - we have chance not to lose money.
If they resume, I doubt they will be refunding the 2 million USD that got hacked. So they will probably resume without that
They might have found an investor with deep pockets. At first they were going to close the exchange and cease all operations save for the withdrawals only (though I didn't believe their words from the start), but now they are saying they are going to continue. Without returning the funds, opening the exchange doesn't make much sense. People would just withdraw their money in this case, and that would be the end of bter.
They way I think they plan to return is something better than nothing. Even if they do not refund the BTC, the bitcoin world still has people who would continue trading on that site and they will still make money from it irrespective of it. So not refunding and comeing back to try and resume is better for them than not refunding and leaving.
Well its just for a friend, who will be looking at the picture and it will refresh and go away. He wouldn't expect it to refresh , and he doesn't really have much coding skills. So not worried about that
Maybe you can use a site which shows the link content for only a few hours. And have it disappear after a minute ?

Re: BTER.com hacked - 7170 BTC stolen [DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE]
Aren't those old news a little bit ? Because the same day BTER got hacked of the ~7000 BTC , I heard that the staff simply walked away . they are "probably" (so we don't accuse people) involved on the hacking , wouldn't call it hacking since it's an inside job tho .
~ Madness
Is it just me.. Or is coinbase the only place where things are going good? I have used bter before and I think I might still have currency on there..
I guess its too late..
Yeah I guess , who knows maybe Coinbase was responsable for the hacks Bitsmap wouldn't be hacked too if they used Multi signature in the first place . But I guess they learned the lesson which is the important thing even if it's too late . If you ask me , Decentralized exchangers are the best . all of the others are bad for Bitcoin , they end up by getting hacked and all our real informations such ID & passport , resident etc ... can get leaked or sold or whatever .
~ Madness
Unlike BTER, Bitstamp atleast refunded the coins and put in measures like the multisig in place to safeguard the funds. But BTER chose to just come back and restart business like nothing ever happened.
I might be able to help you here. But all the mail must be sent to my account and I will verify where needed. But I will not be giving you the access to the edu account. If I feel something is unsafe or illegal, I will refuse to verify those mails for you.

Well , I don't really care about that. Since, I would only confirm and verify emails with legit offers for student offers , I can verify them. I see anything fishy, I will decline.

Instead of transferring, why not just transfer it to the address of the new site ? You will atleast save time, transferring it to yourself, and then transferring it to the new site.
