This is crypto, it is available globally. Also it's decentralized.
I can name lots of places crypto regulation leaves consumers/customers unable to participate in many projects. The decentralized nature is promising though!

How would this affect token holders?
I can think of a couple of ways, one good, one bad. If the acquiring company wants to keep Kuende intact and run the platform more or less the way it always has, this could cause token prices to go way up depending on the valuation of the company and the name of the acquiring entity.
Or they could butcher the company, rip apart everything that powers it, and implement the tech into their own platforms. This would cause the token prices to plummet overnight as far as I can tell.
I see no reason to think Kuende would be selling.
I agree, no reason to think that at this point. I should have said as much, I was just answering the hypothetical question with what I've seen from other companies in similar circumstances.

How do you plan to grow the user base once the product launches? Just word of mouth?
We already work for months on the marketing strategies. Doing only word of mouth wouldn't be very optimal. We are going to use several channels, influencers, media, etc.
I assume you will be using YouTube influencers? Have you approached any?
Yes we did. There are some very well known youtubers that we will collaborate with, especially in the asian market, where we want to reach mass adoption, but from countries like Russia & Turkey too.
I like this strategy actually. It seems like in the US, we're firmly planted on our social media for the time being. Other markets like the ones you name have a pretty good chance of adopting Kuende right off the bat.
Then once you're the big dog in these other markets, you can really pump advertising to corner the US market. Brilliant!
I like that many new and old project's start partnership with Civic. Almost each week we got several new partnerships. And company really active in that way.
Honestly not sure how long I would have continued going not knowing about Civic if not for Kuende doing the airdrop for Civic holders.

I feel like this could do a lot for charities as a platform. Have you considered any features that would make it easier for charities to get the word out about their various causes?
