Got drunk ? Suddenly got emotional ?

No I'm just Carl Sagan.

I think it would be very difficult for the sun to be bitcoin. Bitcoin is rather bad at sustaining nuclear fusion

This tech is getting seriously dated. It won't be much longer before it doesn't even matter anymore.  And old android smartphone & a gotenna transceiver and this tech would be irrelevant.

Exactly. With a qr code many things can become a "bitcoin card" The same way that credit cards are coming to phones as well.

stability comes with further adoption. The more buyer and sellers there are, the harder it will be to change price.

Doing something like that would destablize the system and make what the miners are doing relatively pointless anyway...

In the future after all the bitcoins have been released, wouldnt a small block such as this be extremely detrimental to the system? Suddenly your reward is based on the number of transactions, and no transaction = no reward...

Well the stories about Bitcoin being used on the Silk Road marketplace and other illegal activities makes for a great story to report on. It just isnt' the same as doing a report on Alpaca Socks or something. This is something that sticks with the people, unfortunately. I guess we need to give it more time and wait for this to blow over. It's like the wild west, still...

Shock stories = more views. Therefore people are going to here mostly the scandals or big doings with bitcoin, and not much about how it works.
