The future of Ripple technology is great! That would have some good effect on XRP coin as well.But i do expect Ripple to take multi-fold jumps. The supply is too much for Ripple to take some big jumps like Bitcoin and other prominent coins does. If you are looking at it reaching 1$ or so pretty soon, then that is highly unlikely. However the technology is good.

My predictions about IOTA:-
IOTA is a third generation crypto,basically the next evolutionary step after bitcoin and ethereum. It's an open-source distributed ledger(like Bitcoin and Ethereum), but does not use a blockchain. IOTA is secure,scalable and fast. In a future world where most of the cryptocurrencies will be vulnerable to quantum computers, IOTA will be standing tall. I think it have a good future.

I do not think this coin has any future except pure trading speculations mainly pump and dumps. Dogecoin as a coin I do not really see it growing much but there used to be Dogecoin Dark which is now Verge and its doing pretty well.

Because altcoins are pegged to bitcoin. The markets adapts to price fluctuation. People buying altcoins for bitcoin and inversely when people sell altcoins for bitcoin... Which we just saw with people buying bitcoin so they would get bitcoin gold.
