Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ?
by
playful69
on 06/05/2018, 14:26:26 UTC
This argument and its variations imply that atheists really believe in a god but hate this god and want to rebel. First, if this were true then they would not atheists. Atheists are not people who believe in a god but are angry at it - those are just angry atheists.

Re: Holding your temper
by

on 05/04/2018, 16:25:42 UTC
Be assertive, not aggressive. one good way to keep your temper in check is to not get angry in the first place. if you feel angry over a disagreement with someone, the best way to express it is by sharing your feelings in a respectful way. Expressing anger in this way can be healthier than holding it in. those who hold back their feelings are more likely to develop passive-aggressive behavior and depression, as well as physical ailments like high blood pressure. When you assert your feelings, however, stay calm and refrain from behaviors such as yelling. it may feel good to "let it rip". But this behavior has been shown to increase anger, not relieve it. in short, don't be afraid to speak up, but be courteous at the same time.

Re: Long distance relationship

Support each other, even over the distance. Be there for your partner if your partner is ever in trouble, hurt, or for what ever reason. you need to make yourself available to help so your partner knows you care. if your partner ends up dealing with important issues alone, your partner will eventually not need you. interdependence tefers to the willingness to act against your own self-interests for the benefit of you partner or for your relationship. instead, supporting each other creates an interdependence that is crucial for a long distance relationship. interdependence can be seen in everyday activities like compromising about decisions and long-term behaviors like quitting smoking.

Living or traveling without money and adapt your life to this is a huge personal challenge. you really embark on an exploration by living this way. But how would it be of the entire society or even just a community would be focused on a moneyless existence? said differently, a world without money, how would it be? would be possible?

The lesson is never discuss your secret with a friend what can cause you embarrassment in the public and be happy with yourself, have confidence in yourself, i want to believe friends who gossip have low self esteem. they can't stand once personality hence they tarnish your image to pull you down just to let you know you have flaws or out of envy. i have learnt my lessons, at a stage i avoided them because i couldn't trust or stand them. i have made up my mind anybody that can't add value to mylife should get lost.

Re: Is Bitcoin Hackable?
by

on 20/03/2018, 09:30:14 UTC
The issue of security has been a fundamental one for bitcoin since its development. One hand, bitcoin itself is very difficult to hack, and that is largely due to the blockchain technology which supports it. As blockchain is constantly being reviewed by bitcoin users, hacks are unlikely. on the other hand, though, the fact that bitcoin itself is difficult to hack does not mean that it's necessarily a safe investment. there does exist potential for security risks at various stages of the trading process.

Re: How do you feel about revenge?
by

on 20/03/2018, 08:57:15 UTC
Generally, it gives people a mixed feeling of satisfaction & guilt at the same time. even though it gives satisfaction thinking about the deep, deeo down you feel like you ended up lowering or standards to those who hurted you in the first place. as time passes there could be possibilities of regrets or shame associated with the nature of the deed. although revenge if taken in terms of justice could be satisfying at times. Say a person is laughed & insulted everyday by his associates he stands up for himself one day to get rid of his miserable condition then that would be quite satisfying for the person even if his/her associates judges the action as an act of revenge.

Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving?
by
playful69
on 16/03/2018, 14:02:19 UTC
This is a great way to motivate a child to put their money away. The biggest step is actually putting the money into the savings instead of spending it. you can hurdle that by promising to match their cash, or by adding a certain percentage. Older kids will understand right away that this is a good deal. younger kids will be given an opportunity to hear about the principles of investing or of compound interest for the first time. by teaching your kids at an early age, you'll be equipping them with lessons they can use their whole lives, these steps can lead to habits that they'll be thankful to have when they're older.

Re: Why People Are Not Honest.

My Dad once told me, "tell me who you hang out with, and I'll tell you who you are." These words have resonated with me throughout my life, and i have surrounded myself with people who are honest, motivated and intelligent. but what about people who grew up with dishonest friends? is it their fault that they're dishonest as well? i am one who promotes that an individual is ultimately responsible for his or her own decisions, but i do feel that we are a product of our surroundings. peer pressure can make a weak individual do dishonest things.

Re: FINANCIAL TIPS

It's sound simplistic, but many people struggled with basic rule.
Make sure you know what your job is worth in the marketplace, by conducting an evaluation of your skils, productivity, job task, contribution of the company, and the going rate, both inside and outside the company, for what you do. Being underpaid even a thousand dollars a year can have a significant cumulative effect over the course of your working life. No matter how much or how little you're paid, you'll never get ahead if you spend more than you earn. Often it's easier to spend less than it is to earn more, and a little cost-cutting effort in a number of areas can result in big savings. it doesn't have to involve making big sacrifice.

Re: WHY IS THERE EVIL IN THE WORLD?
by
playful69
on 15/03/2018, 10:27:39 UTC
Generally speaking, any evil or suffering experienced in life is the exception and not the rule. illness is relatively short-lived in comparison to good health as are earthquakes in comparison to the age of the earth. Moreover, just because our intellectual capacity is limited and we can't evaluate what the wisdom is, doesn't mean it isn't there. for instance, in some cases, sickness results in the build up of immunity, earthquakes relieve pent up pressures within the earth, volcanoes spew out minerals resulting in rich fertile soil for agriculture. There is an ancient wisdom that states "Out of the snakes poison" comes the antidote" how else can one appreciate goodness without having experienced hardship to use as a comparator? would it be possible to appreciate good health if illness did not occur?

That's what these recyclers have to be deal with everyday and in some parts of the world like Guiyu, China, working with e-waste is their entire life.

If the rise of cryptocurrenies has taught us anything, it's that eliminating cash doesn't eliminate black markets. Hidden in the shadowy corners of the internet, online illegal activity is thriving thanks to the birth of bitcoin and other seemingly untraceable payment system. As nation around the world abandon cash in favour of mobile banking, we may well be witnessing the demise of physical money.

Re: How to recognize scam
by

on 08/03/2018, 13:15:36 UTC
Most scams play upon basic human qualities that everyone has to some degree. Many of these qualities are not very flattering. they include traits like fear, vanity and greed. con artists have leveraged these traits for hundreds of years -- play upon a person's greed and you can convince them up is down and cold is hot.

Re: Broken Heart

Many of us have been there: hearing the words, "it's not you, it's me," or, "maybe we should just be friends." Others have dealt with the death of a loved one or role model. and while each end to a relationship is unique (to be sure, a breakup and a lost life are drastically different experiences), one feeling is common: heartbreak. Unfortunately no Band-Aid can heal this one.
