Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!]
by

I actually saw of Pi Network coin got overhyped many years ago and now, with the pitiful price at $1.6 lmao. Is it really worth all those years and times invest in such coin even if you received it by airdrop mean. Sure it's free but there were many other airdrops back then you can get for free and able to sell them right away, to use that free money to invest in bitcoin/alts before they become too big right now. Come on, Pi coin is the definition of an average coin but overhyped to become the next big thing. Yeah, I think I get it, a time trap that took over your time instead on other alt coins.

Re: The world continues dumping US dollar (Gold, New World Order, World War III)
by
popeye95
on 23/02/2023, 07:07:05 UTC
It's very funny to watch the two victims of the Kremlin's propaganda slander "great steps to abandon the dollar." True, as often happens, either without having studied the qualitative facts cited by them, or deliberately distorting the information.
If you dig a little deeper "cross-border payments between Brazil and China in Yuan", then an unexpectedly interesting fact will pop up there. Brazil sells its products to China for .. RMB. Everything is fine. But China sells its goods to Brazil for .. DOLLARS, and only accepts no more than 25% of the payment in .. its RMB Smiley But supporters of pro-Russian propaganda, as it were, "do not know" this most important nuance of "China's fight against the dollar."
I will once again give an example with one event so that everyone understands - China needs dollars! And he needs them because no one will sell technology either for yuan or for fake rubles.... And China will do everything to get dollars. But to all sorts of fools, he will sell his yuan, which China can print in unlimited quantities, for any settlements with its not the smartest "partners". And so, a historical fact that each of you can easily verify.
In 2022, Russia once again decided to "destroy the United States and destroy the dollar." This crazy idea has been tormenting economic and military impotent people since the times of the USSR. So, with pomp, to the whole world, through all the media, a statement was published that the Russian Federation was removing a significant part of the dollar from its gold reserves, and changing it to the yuan. And they say China is also abandoning the dollar. And the real Russian Federation received a huge amount of yuan from China. After that, Russia kept silent about the fight against the dollar. And to questions - how are things with the gold reserves, they somehow modestly lowered their eyes and did not answer questions. And the problem is this:
1. China really sold the Russian Federation a huge amount of yuan. BUT ! But he sold them not for rubles .. That's right, China is not an idiot. They sold Yuan for.. USD Smiley
2. After 3-4 months, due to the economic instability of the Chinese market, the yuan depreciated very much.

Let's sum up the results:
1. During this "very cunning operation against the dollar", Russia lost tens of billions of dollars. And continue to lose due to the inflation of the yuan.
2. China has improved its gold reserves at the expense of a huge amount of dollars, which ensure the stability of the economy, which are more stable and which are in demand all over the world.
I agree with all your points, except where your view on China's Yuan depreciation seems like a bad thing. No, it was the opposite. China's economy is export-oriented with a huge manufacturing base. Yuan depreciation helps them to avoid incoming taxes from other countries to protect their domestic manufacturers. It was the basis of protectionism vs currency manipulation and that is where China's long game aimed at the US and the rest of the world to slowly take over the domestic market and make other countries dependent on China. Of course, the power of the USD to facilitate trade around the world and the petrodollar is still there. China has been on US's watchlist for currency manipulation for quite an age. But I fear there is a trend where Russia also want to input their Rubbe into China's market, to slowly mix them into the flow and get a share from it.

Paulo Dybala will return to Juventus but as an opponent, yes it will be interesting. I want to see how Dybala responds when he has to deal with his former club. Of course he wants to prove himself that Juventus was wrong for selling him. Surely this will be emotional for him, considering he played 7 seasons for Juventus. We'll see what this player will do.
Juventus didn't sell Dybala, his contract ran out and he didn't want to renew so he left for Roma as a free agent. He is not going to try to prove anything to Juve, he left the club in a friendly circumstance and i know all he has for Juventus is respect, and the club respects him too, if he is going to play tomorrow, he is going out there as a professional to do the job he is paid for, it will be an emotional return for him to the place he called home, but that emotion will only be before and after the game, during the match only Roma will be on his mind.
Shame that Dybala doesn't want to be in Juventus after his contract ran out. I remember he stated that he still want to play in Serie A so it's easy for Roma got Dybala as a free agent. Though Juventus got Pogba and di Maria as free agents as well the Dybala loss is very unfortunate. Hope to see both Pogba and Dybala on Juventus shirts again. Also, the match between Roma and Juventus will be interesting since Dybala can offer insight into how Juventus forward the ball.

Re: When will people finally abandon Tron?
by
popeye95
on 26/08/2022, 17:48:49 UTC
From what I understand you don't have to abandoned tron because some other investors or other businesses invest into the coin million where that they can have a support in time coming so since they have invested into that court I don't think that they will abandon it any longer again because their money is into it whatever that invest into it will be seeking for the coin to grow up again so that it investment will not be liability or will not be a worst to it

As long as USDT is there, Tron will not be abandoned.

Secondly, people still believe that Tron is a good project because they still have trust in Tron founder Justin sun statements about Tron who knows exactly how to keep the hype in the market.
Some don't understand that TRX is the cheapest network for USDT transfer. Heck, it was fast as hell too. Sure the TRX smart contract seems pale compared to BNB or Sol, the similar smart contract network that follows ETH. But I think the smart contract market is oversaturated and TRX just coming to the game too late. TRX doesn't have any incentive to lure in new dapp devs too.

^ merge your post into one bro. If not, they might get deleted for the double post rule.
Anyways, after 2 months, we're back to square one again now. BTC's hovering around 21k and doesn't like it'll make a break away from that price anytime soon. Wonder if anyone invested in BTC 2 months ago at 21k: Do you guys still holding it, or has cashed out at 24k? Things like this reinforce my mind that you shouldn't hold altcoins for the long term when the market is bearish.

Re: Are Meme coins going to make it to the next bull market?
by
popeye95
on 26/08/2022, 16:07:18 UTC
They could make it to the bull run but it doesn't mean that they will be useful. We should all remember that they're just pumping because of the hype and influencer manipulation. They could strike a good price and stay active because lots of investors have invested in them. They have a good trading volume. I'm pertaining to the most active meme coins like Shiba and Doge.
True. If there is no use case for meme coins, their pump won't sustainable. Just replying in a short amount of time from people's hype isn't gonna work. Social media like twitter could help if they truly want to jump on the bandwagon, deploy Shiba and Doge as the coin for tipping.

You can't deny the 'get rich quick scheme has introduced many new investors into the market. Some of them don't want to learn about crypto, about how it works. But there are the others that try to learn the stuff. I think they're the 'good result' come off from it. Good or bad doesn't mean much to me as long as there is a good result like that.

Well from what I recall I don't think there are any AMD gpus which are 5GB. Nvidia however has a few GPUs which are 5GB however I don't think they are popular with miners. Most are holding the 8GB variants of those GPUs.

So since an ASIC has much higher hashrate than a single GPU, it explains the sudden drop we got in the last few days or so. Makes you question, how many ASICs are actually running behind the ETH blockchain. Given this drop it seems to substantial.
I almost sold out all my 6gb graphic cards because of this but since the original Ethereum is going to PoS it won't be needy anymore and as for the new PoW ETH its probably going to take longer to exceed 6GB memory.
And if you decide to switch to ETC, the 6GB DAG file of ETC will take a very long to hit that limit. Your 6GB VRAM is safe, do not let anyone try to fud you with the DAG limit, selling your cards for cheap because of the low 6GB VRAM. Efficiency is more important to DAG thanks to ETH pulling the POW plug.

Re: List of most prominent altcoins of the moment
by
popeye95
on 25/08/2022, 16:48:01 UTC
I have been away from the altcoin market since the beginning of the bear market, but at the moment I have some spear money to fill my altcoin bag and I am looking for the best coin in the market worthy of. my investment at this moment?
Am also looking for a coin that has a good use case and serves as a utility token to a project with a large community of supporters.

Are you sure you want to refer to our portfolio list? What if you will end up losing following us? Will you blame us?

To name a few, here are some of my watchlists, GALA, SOL, and AVAX. These are on top of my top coins list, BTC and BNB.

It's hard to give advice and suggestions on your last question. We can't even determine how large the supporter is of a certain project.

The best advice for OP is to find the top coins on CMC, those are the coins that are considered to have a strong community, usecase….
Everyone has different tastes and preferences so it is difficult to give advice, I prefer to be safe than take risks for profit during this bear season. So most of my choices other than BTC, for altcoins are ETH and BNB.

I also have a small portfolio, I call it a super risk portfolio, which includes low cap, doge and shiba projects. This is the amount that I identified the loss from the beginning when deciding to invest.
Do you mean projects where you pretty much consider it as a lost investment or gambling? I don't know about that negative attitude about Doge and Shiba. Sure they're meme coins that don't have insane growth anymore but I don't think they could crash to zero and lose all of your investment.

Bull run for ETH incoming. As the ETH foundation and devs start to push the news, expect investors with FOMO to rush in to pump the coin. I can already see top exchange announcing their upgrade cause of this kind of FOMO effect. The closest point of interest for The Merge is another upgrade called Bellatrix around Sep 6. Plan your investment accordingly.

TTD prediction for The Merge 🐼
https://bordel.wtf/
This is a very important event for the entire ecosystem. If the merger goes smoothly and not a single smart contract breaks, then this will be a good start for the development of a new scaled ecosystem.

This or wenmerge.com give a good estimate on The Merge date and well as diff bomb.
Diff bomb might goes off around that time after many delays. The last diff bomb should have been gone off at July but was delayed by 700,000 blocks.

Re: Knowing Potential projects
by
popeye95
on 19/08/2022, 18:21:30 UTC
no one knows one hundred percent accurately. but at least we know the characteristics. some cases that I have encountered, new launch projects are successful with seriousness in undergoing project development. they don't really care about public sales because there are funds before the project is announced.
Yes, that's right, I personally cannot accurately determine which new projects have future potential, because it is difficult to analyze them. Sometimes a project that looks very convincing at the end is always disappointing with all the facts. Especially now that there are so many new projects hanging around, of course it will be difficult to determine which ones are really promising.
This means you're missing something important or your analysis doesn't cover all the spots. I know a few things that investors typically overlook and think to themself this project looks promising. For example, a project with high potential has to have a legal team forming or planning to have that in its roadmaps. Novawady, you had to have legal expect to centaily your project stays within the legal boundary of government.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
by
popeye95
on 19/08/2022, 17:29:31 UTC

I didn't suppose that Madrid would be so easy to let go of Casimero to Manchester, whereas he is one of the most disciplined midfielders in Madrid midfield so far, it's true that Madrid still have Tchouameni and Valverde as central midfielders but both of them have so far not been able to prove a decent playing capacity according to Me, compared to the two players, Casimero is actually much better at being the bridge between Madrid front and back line, while Kroos and Modric of course Madrid can't expect much from both of them because of the age factor, so if Madrid are planning to sign Bruno Guimaraes of course it can it's just a gamble for ancelotti, after all, has newcastle really issued a statement that it will sell Bruno Guimaraes?
Because to my knowledge, newcastle does not look like a team that is in need of money right now and in fact they are trying to build a capable squad in the English league.
What you said is true. I always think Casimero is like a bull. You tell him what kind of work he should do and he'd be diligent to do it, no question ask, no afterthought. Just simply did what he can according to the coach's plan. A very reliable midfield that can work well with anyone.
But the age factor is the main issue here for Real to decide to part away with him for Manchester. Anyways, the thing is done, we can only now bid goodbye to old Casimero and no doubt, Manchester will use him well since their midfield line is full of holes.
Here is a picture of old Casimero playing CSGO on his free day since he's a fan of it. Chill as f.

The price range around 20k-22k would be the norm for the rest of this month. I don't think any talk about BTC dropping down below 20k or back to the 17k months ago is possible. 20k will be the resistance wall for BTC. Unless FED or something unpredictable comes out, I think this sharp drop is just a temporary shock from the recent rate hike speculation. Stay steady and HODL.

The only explanation I'd come up with for this bizarre scenario: Investors try to hoard any soccer tokens available on the market base on the outlook of the new season of major leagues around the EU start to warn up. This seems reasonable since seasons in 2020-2021 are all plagued with covid, low revenue reported from many teams.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
by

on 18/08/2022, 21:12:08 UTC
The following question is, who will take Real Madrid for replacing Casemiro?

Or they are going the entire season with Camavinga and Tchouameni
Next season, there is a possibility that Modric and Kroos will transfer or retire. If they also sell Casemiro, they will lose 3 midfielders. Maybe even 4 if Ceballos does not sign with Real Madrid again. Of course, this might be a move to replace the MCK trio with VTC as Valverde-Tchouameni-Camavinga. Bellingham is a good addition to the new trio. The rumor about Real Madrid wanting Bellingham has been mentioned quite a lot so it seems carry merit to the whole setup. Blanco can stay on the reserve list or can be loaned instead of completely selling him off.
I've talked about it earlier. Camavinga and Tchouameni with Valverde set up a very young and rising start trio that had a very bright future ahead of them compared to Modric-Casemiro-Kroos. VTC trio's average age is around 21.6. MCK trio's average age is around 32.6. That's 11 years old apart! You know that they say, start investing early in the young talented player for a better future, and real Madrid plan for miles ahead in the future.

Re: Which coin made you a millionaire?

If you want to be a millionaire, you've to stop trying to get rich quickly, stop searching for a single investment with 100x. Start as small, slowly accumulate and grow your fund to a certain amount where you can stay holding for a very long. A long-time holder with ease, no pressure or anything force you to sell your bag.
Only then, you'd hold a coin for years and make a huge return like 5-10x of your investment. That's where you'll be a millionaire, a good coin that you can hold for years.

Re: Shiba Inu pumping , why? Hold or Sell?
by
popeye95
on 18/08/2022, 20:25:54 UTC
Don't be too greedy, yesterday the SHIB has gone up 30%, of course if you are a disciplined trader then you have sold it,
and look now the SHIB price is down again at the buy zone price yesterday, stay calm and don't be too fomo of this coin.
because if Fomo occurs then we will also be harmed, we are in a bear market the effect is very high price volatility
Shiba won't have a 100% up in its price in a short amount of time. When it has gone up to 30%, most Shiba holders would sell. This is the reason why it falls back down. Anyone FOMO with thinking it could do it again has to understand this meme coin is full of pump and dump based on people's interests. You'd become a long-time holder of this meme coin if you bought in at high.

Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover?
by
popeye95
on 18/08/2022, 20:16:56 UTC
According to TA the market has now moved into bull season and it's the right time to buy and hold so that you don't miss the next bull run. Above 24000$ Bitcoin is bullish. And market is started moving upwards already.
Of course, it will move and changes its course to Bullish season but it was not the time. Never get fooled by the few pumps that happen in the past few days and say it was Bullrun already. We also have to think that it can be possible during the bear season, however, it was too different when compared to the bullish season, you can really see a significant and continuous market pump, unlike what we currently experience. That is still too far from being bullish.
Same, I don't think we're the real bullish season. Pumps are welcome to have but far from a bullish signal that we are already out of the bear cycle. Overall change depends on the world economy's outlook and right now, economic data around the world look grim. Inflation hit a record high and recession looming.
