Bitcointalk Forum is truly an awesome place to announce a project.
Within just one week, our ANN and Bounty threads received around 972 views and more than 90 comments. All without any marketing, purely thanks to the forum community.

I'm not sure how these numbers compare to typical forum metrics, but regardless, we are genuinely happy with the response so far.

Sounds logical enough. Sure.
Thanks for the quick answer!
We will prepare a Bridgoro Exchange Discussion post in the Altcoin Discussion section.
The post will include project information, FAQ, and other related details. Users will be welcome to share their thoughts, give feedback, or simply discuss everything about the exchange.

As far as I can see, all looks good. Of course, different moderators, different views, but I think it's fine as is Smiley

Hi Mitchell,
Hope you are doing well.
First of all, thank you again for guiding me during the creation of the ANN and BOUNTY posts and your advice was very helpful.
It seems we now need to create a new thread specifically for user discussions, and one of the members suggested placing it in the Altcoin Discussion section. Before posting anything, I'd like to confirm with you whether this would fit within the forum rules.
For your reference, some users have already requested that we create a separate thread for exchange-related discussions.
Looking forward to your reply

Thank you very much, I truly appreciate your response. I look forward to receiving more questions about the project, which will help us build a comprehensive FAQ in the future.

I would argue in the beta reward program, since that is where they sign up, get paid and so leaving feedback there sounds logical.

We have now completed all necessary updates to the ANN, BOUNTY, and SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN posts to fully comply with Bitcointalk requirements and rules.

ANN post
BOUNTY post
SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN post

Could you please review and confirm that everything is in order and that no post relocations are planned?

I have one final question to ensure we’re proceeding correctly:
Where should Beta participants submit their feedback and bug reports?
In the main ANN thread or in the Beta Reward Program thread?
I would argue in the beta reward program, since that is where they sign up, get paid and so leaving feedback there sounds logical.
Got it.
Then I assume it would be correct in my opinion to ask leave bug reports and feedback on Bounties (Altcoins) thread and general feedback about the project can be posted on ANN thread.
Thanks a lot for guiding us!

Signature campaigns go in Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Services
Thank you for keeping me updated.

ANN Thread: Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements
Beta Thread: Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins)

Apologies for the many questions, I just want to make sure everything is fully aligned with Bitcointalk’s rules.

When a contest offers a payment in Bitcoin, there's no exchange rate either: it's just (a set amount in) Bitcoin Wink

Understood  Smiley
Our budget is currently estimated in the traditional way, which makes it easier for us to track expenses since we’re using our own funds.
That said, we’ll keep your suggestion in mind. I believe it should be acceptable if we set prices in USD equivalents while making payouts in BTC.

BTW, I noticed from your post that you’re interested in joining the Beta.
Welcome aboard!
If you run into any issues with the testnet wallet, please refer to our GitBook guide or feel free to reach out to us directly at any time.

That is indeed my problem with the current topic. USDT does not belong in the main Bitcoin area. This sounds like a good solution 🤔
Will move it back for you.

Thank you very much.
We need some time to update the ANN post, create a new post about the reward in this thread:
Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins)
But in any case, all the changes will be made today.

USDT does not belong in the main Bitcoin area.
@OP: why not just award Bitcoins instead of some centralized token on an altcoin chain?

We also thought about it, to be honest, we don't care what to pay in, either in BTC or even in Monero. We can even give the participants a choice in what asset they want to receive payments for.
BTW, we chose USDT because the rate is stable there, and there will be no exchange rate difference when paying.

To Admin Mitchell: I have another question, we want to launch a signature campaign.
Can we publish a post about it with details of participation here?:
Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Discussion

Since I haven’t received any response, I went ahead and published the ANN post about the No-KYC/AML Checks Exchange Beta Test phase, with the reward up to 350 USDT here.

I hope this doesn't conflict with any forum rules.
Since the reward is in USDT, it should've been created in the Altcoins section like I said before. I've moved it there now.

This is directly related to Bitcoin, as we are announcing a P2P exchange, where the key asset is Bitcoin. Moreover, this is a service for exchange, so it is logical that it should be posted in the thread:
Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements

Before posting, we reviewed other ANN posts on this thread, and many ANN posts are about the same service.

Dear admin Mitchell, please return our post with the announcement to:
Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements
since the announcement has already taken place, people are writing and asking, and you just took and moved the post.

If you don't like in the post with the announcement that we indicated a reward for participating in testing in USDT, then we can remove this part and create a separate post here:
Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins)
And in the announcement post, we can just put the link to it.

One of the devs here.

We would like to hear your thoughts on the idea of a semi-decentralized exchange that operates without mandatory KYC or AML requirements. The goal is to provide users with an alternative platform where privacy and autonomy are prioritized, while still ensuring secure and fair transactions through escrow mechanisms and automated processes.

Such an approach aims to avoid the risks of centralized custody and unnecessary identity checks, which often result in delays, frozen funds, or unwanted exposure of personal data. Instead, the focus is on building a trustless environment where users can trade directly and maintain full control over their assets.

What do you think about this concept?

Do you see a strong demand for a solution like this in the current market, and what challenges or advantages do you believe it could bring to the crypto community?

The only thing I'm not sure about is the price pool, as I'm not sure if the giveaway rule apply (since that would mean it has to be under Games and rounds).
Shouldn't paid reviews be on the Services board? I've seen them on Service Announcements, but at some point I believe the reviews had to be in Services because users can't be incentivized to post on other boards (or something).

What if we publish ANN post on:
Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements

And also will publish the Beta Test incentive program post with rules and details on:
Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins)

It would be great to get some feedback from you guys (moderators) so that on Saturday, we could start publishing.

Unsure why it was moved to Beginners & Help, since it's more of a Meta question (as it's specifically about the forum), so I'm moving you again, sorry.

Having said that, as long as it's Bitcoin related, I think it can be posted in Service Announcements (otherwise it must be in the Altcoin variant). Announcing a service isn't seen as promotional, at least, not if done in a normal fashion.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the price pool, as I'm not sure if the giveaway rule apply (since that would mean it has to be under Games and rounds).

Thanks for responding.

So what if we post [ANN] about our Beta Test launch of our exchange service on the Marketplace thread with the description of the project and also with Beta Test reward rules? Is it ok?

The main part about the Beta Test reward is that in this Beta Test phase, only Bitcointalk users will be allowed to participate with the accounts registered not later than in Dec 31st, 2024. And for transparency, feedback about the bug report should also be published under the announcement post.

Moderator has just moved my post from:
Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements

To: Bitcoin Forum > Other > Beginners & Help

So the question about announcement publish was about this thread:

Advices or recomendations from admins/moderators are welcome

[Question] Beta Test Announcement Rules in This Section?

Hello everyone,

Before moving forward, I’d like to clarify one thing:
Is it allowed to make an announcement in this section regarding the launch of a beta test for a new project, or should such posts be placed elsewhere?

A few important points about the beta test:
  • The project is a semi-decentralized exchange without KYC and AML.
  • This post is not made from the project’s account, so it doesn’t look like promotion, only a preliminary question to the community.
  • The beta test will be paid: the total reward pool is $1,000 (covered by the team’s own funds).
  • Rewards will go to the Top 10 most active participants.
  • The beta will be exclusive to Bitcointalk forum members.
  • All payout details for Top participants will be officially published in the announcement thread for full transparency.
  • Complete information on how the service works, including the whitepaper, will be made available in open access once the announcement is posted.

The goal here is not advertising, but simply to confirm whether posting such an announcement here complies with the section rules.

Thanks in advance for your guidance and feedback.

We need no KYC and no AML services and this isnt about your service.
Your exchange can block any transaction and request to pass KYC. I found this info on your website.

I need some BNB on the Binance Smart Chain to cover some fees. $1 value would do just fine. In exchange, I'll send you $2 value of LTC. Don't worry about trust, I'll send first.

DM if you can do this.

why dont you use swap services or exchanges?
