I am not happy with the price of Bitcoin going from c.$70,000 to c.$48,000 in a few weeks but with the market so unstable Ethereum is doing very well holding up with a price of $4000+ throughout.

This is still a great investment because it still has yet to hit the $10,000 barrier which it inevitably will do....

Re: Proposed Cryptocurrency ban in Russia

Russia, one of the global bodies who practice and engage the use of crypto currency has proposed a ban on it, stating fears as it(crypto) being a threat to digital currencies and also poses a threat to financial stability.
Vladimir Putin, president of Russia has decided that the  proposed ban will be necessary as it will be able to curb financial insecurities. Mean while, Anton Siluanov, Finance Minister, is hoping there can be ways to iron out disagreements and that a bill be passed into law regulating cryptocurrency.
He is also of the opinion that should arguments ensue over the proposed bill, arrangements for it will be prolonged but is still hopeful that the President will agree to a consensus.

Putin is doing great! He's been resting for a long time. Shoigu decides everything! He will solve everything as needed!

Yeah.

Can't ignore that for Doge holders.

Only those that have sold at profit because there are also holders of Doge that have been caught late by the hype. They've bought at the top and thought that they'll still be making a fortune.

Until the dump came.

Well, you are right, some have been caught in the trap, the ones who bought during a hype! But here I am talking about people who are holding it for +5 years! Even now they are in crazy big profit if they missed the perfect moment when Doge was at $0.7 in May last year!

By the way, while BTC and ETH are down by 2% in the last 24h Doge is up 17%! That speaks for itself, the crypto market is never all red, there are always some exceptions!
I'm terribly worried. reading this! Truth. I had 10 million dogecoins in 2015. No one took it seriously then. A convenient coin for transferring funds. No more. Naturally. I don't have it today. Today is a similar situation. No one knows what will happen next. It is possible that bitcoin will fall a thousand times and everyone will laugh.

When it comes to investment, I do believe that bitcoin is still the best among all those cryptocurrencies out there. It is more profitable..Bitcoin is much safer option to invest  because it has stable growth and drop compared to altcoins.

We all know that when bitcoin goes up,altcoin also tend to go up, and when bitcoin drops, altcoin drop as well. But altcoins are extremely volatile than bitcoin and is riskier to invest.
You're the best! Awesome logic! Up to this point, I was thinking. what is a plus is a minus and vice versa! You've opened up a space for me to think. Amazing!

For investment it would be wiser to invest in bitcoin because it is more stable and the increase can be very high. Reputable altcoins are also good for investment but are more efficient when used for trading than investing in altcoins.
Bitcoin will fall by 2 times and will stand still as a new global asset. It will never grow a thousand times. It was recently compared to gold. ..There's not much gold either. And it is also not infinite.

It all depends on the users self interest and the experience investing on cryptocurrencies. For users who have profited investing on altcoins will never look for bitcoin investment, because the profit out of altcoins is very big against the profit from bitcoin. This won't happen with every altcoins, and users needs to be lucky enough to enjoy such profits. For early investors bitcoin will be the choice and for now it is altcoins in my view.
All the newbies want to hear from your grandiose experience. what to do now at this point in time. You can't tell them that...No one can...

The news you are referring to is one month old.

Quote

Recent news is they are planning to regulate cryptocurrencies and they told that they will not treat cryptocurrency as a digital asset. They want to treat it as a currency but are not sure they are going to make it legal tender or not. source link. Russia has millions of crypto users in their country and they know they can not prevent people from using it. Also banning cryptocurrency could cause panic among crypto investors from there so they make the wise decision.

Yes this is actually wrong I guess. Russia is already on the verge of legalisation of crypto assets. You might be having wrong sources or old news articles with bluffs.

The Finance minister Mr. Siluanov already stated that they are going with public opinion and would be passing the bill to regulate the crypto currencies by the end of year. So they might be planning on how to do it and what would be the tax slots before going in 100%.

This was published in here: Russian Crypto

There will never be such a ban. It is clear to a fool that all rich people have cryptocurrencies in their assets. At the same time, Russia voices itself well in all aspects of life. Now we will find out what we will do instantly in Ukraine. The whole world will apologize later.

The funny thing is that people who have forgotten about their assets for a long time become millionaires in dollars. Then. accidentally remembered and freaked out .... Everyone who watches their money every day is doomed to mistakes and poverty. Many assets die for a long time, and then come out. Only, customers have already died or thrown themselves out of the window because of debts.
