Do I need Visual Studio 2010 to mine or just the latest driver is enough? I can mine without VS2010 without errors but only 2 khs when mining UTC. Anyone has good settings for this one?
I have GTX 750ti.

Can we do the donations in UTC instead of BTC? Even if you sell the UTC for BTC for USD/Euro at least it will get some activity on the markets which could spur more activity.

People who want to pledge BTC could buy up some UTC and then donate that to a UTC address which would eventually be sold and converted to BTC for the show.

Just a suggestion.
Agree. I would like to donate something but I'm only a small miner and I don't have any BTC and don't want to buy BTC or sell UTC.

Hi all. Just a quick update. Talks were ongoing last night we have settled upon our multi coins for custom profit checking. These do differ slightly from the last multipool but we believe we have a very strong mix of coins to be going at. We have finally decided upon a domain ( to be revealed ) we did not want a generic name and have kept it all geared towards UTC. We also have some advertising in the pipeline should this venture take off. Now this weekend we hope to have both internal and external testing of the pool. We are confident that its all good but you never know. To start with we will have payments auto every 24 hours but we may in time decrease this never a increase the maximum is 24 hours.

Thabks Craig.
Great news. Can't wait to mine at your pool. I'm going on holiday for a week and when I'm back everything should work Smiley Payouts may be delayed because of exchanges and some coins have very long confirmation times :/

Hi all. Could somebody please confirm the status of cryptotrain please. Operational and paying out or not? The reason being me and my business partner (active crypto miners also ) have begun the setup of our very own multipool. We would like to base it solely for the use of UTC. Backend work has almost been completed. We looked at and started this when cryptotrain stopped paying out, but we would hate to step on peoples toes if it is to become or has become operating again. Many thanks craig (bigd)
Hi. Cryptotrain is not paying out and it's not operaional so if you want to set up a new multipool for UTC that would be great. Thi is the last message from previous administrator:

To all about the Multipool.

We just get today an message of the administrator of the multipool, Hayden,
from his message we can read he is not able to manage the multipool for longtime.

Please read the message below from Hayden ;

"....Hi All, Sorry about the delayed contact. The Army has just called me and I am now on an Aeroplane and will not be returning home for a few months. Sorry about this, it was unplanned. I will not be able to administer the multipool at all anymore. If you leave a message here I will try to get back to it when I get time but time in the army just doesnt exist...."

This means that i advice everybody to stop directly mining at the multipool and start mining at our UTC POOLS or even at NITRO2.

Remember in this how important it is to spread the hash among the pools !!!!

If we have more info we let you now a.s.a.p. !

Hi Community,

I have updated my wallet succesfully and enabled stake minting.. Its been like 2 days now, but there is no stake yet. How will i know i am staking?

Thanks..
Hi, I think it depends on coin's age and the minimum coin age required is one week. But I'm not sure it just my thought. I've had some coins in my wallet for months now and I'm staking without any problems.

CryptoTrain operator has been so active, where has he gone I wonder  Undecided Cry
It's summer (at least here, I'm not sure which hemisphere he is from) , maybe he is in holidays. Smiley
Probably. That is the reason for all problems we had lately. Soon I'm going on vacation as well Smiley It's time to take some rest and not to worry about UTC, stock exchange, work etc. Cheesy

I have not receieve multipool payouts since the 10th, is anyone else having this problem?

Update (NVM just read the announcement):

PLEASE NOTE:
Payouts are on their way to becomming normalised. We have paid the backlog of the last few days and will hopefully maintain a normal payout routine now.

I have the same problem, no payout since the 10th. That note has been there for a while. They post it after last problem with payouts.

Yep no payouts for a while, I trust them, they usually pull through  Smiley
I'm not worried also Smiley It's not their fault, there's something strange going on lately.

I asked before and got no answer so I'll try again. What happened to the new team members that had 200+MH/s miners running on the multipool?

From 7/5/2014

About no hashing power, again some stupid accusation. Fabietech and I have since day one started with mining UTC with more than 140x R9 290’s.
At this moment we have more than 430MH/s on the Multipool.
So our rigs are about roughly +50% off the X11 hashing power at the multipool.

So much for supporting the multipool.

there is currently 240 mh/s in the multipool on x11, so whats the problem exactly?
The problem is there used to be 1 GH! Smiley

Are you saying that - you get the coins to your wallet from ultracoinpool (your balance increases in your wallet on your computer) - but that the transaction cannot be found on the blockchain?
....
Notice: Do NOT mine directly to your Cryptsy deposit address.

OK, so here is the last thing I found

http://ultracoinpool.info/ is the pool I m working with I have made several withdrawals and all of them get through. So far so good, however when I check the Tx in the blockchain they wont show up...so one could guess that the entire pool and me are forked. But then again I can receive coins from cryptsy and anyone else (and those do show in the blockchain bwt) so there is a very weird thing going here... could be at my end, thats true...but what about the pool?
That's right. But I keep my UTC only in my wallet, I did't send them to any exchange. I think something must have happened after PoS started and nfactor changed.

I got the same. I have UTC in my wallet (sent from ultrapool) but they are not appearing in the block explorer. Last transaction for my wallet is from the 11th of July and then nothing.

Hi,

I guess it's a bit difficult to find now, as the announcement is some pages back. But from memory, I can tell you that we currently have 0.1% stake interest per week, making 5.2% a year. Hope it helps Smiley

Thank-you. I really want this coin to break free but critical mistakes and confusion just is sloppy management.

The interest I have is based on management and vision and real world applications too.
Maybe you have some good ideas how to improve UTC? In this community everyone counts and we want new investors especially those experienced.

Well written, dissapointing there are now just two of us to pick up on it though Huh

2) Price does not equal value; without real long-term solutions to increase demand,

Ultracoin will suffer as a currency.

That, is one of the most important factors for ANY product, that's where the problem lies, not in the Blockchains.......
The more services that accept UTC, the more liquidity the coin will have.  Liquidity means people are spending it, this is the goal is it not? To create the value from a usable commodity called "money" backed by TRUST over Nuclear weapons, is it not? to have it accepted and be able to buy items, or do you all just prefer to put your heads in the sand and shout "LALALALALALALA". How many of you know how fractional reserve works and understand it, and how it derives "value"?  It only has as much value as people believe, it has no inherent value (other than your greed and slavery to it)  Stop caring about price for a bit and care about how to set up business accepting it and you have something with real value, it will naturally find it's own market price.

I trade coins, but no where near as much as before, I have given up on chasing squirrels, it's stupid and you never catch them, if your lucky you'll manage to grab a few hairs off the tail as it runs past!  What I do look for now, is the support, any infrastructure, services, accessibility, so I can actually use what I mine.  What is the point of sitting on thousands of £'s when you know it's value is constantly dropping because you have none of that in place, how much can you stand to lose before you call it "ENOUGH"?  That''s the game you're all playing just now, and until you get it in your skulls that it requires more than "buy walls" you may as well open the window and throw your money out of it.

I understand you get it Rapture, but most people seem to completely miss the point.  CECVW gets it, get that guy on the team! he swears less than I do  Roll Eyes  I have been saying this forever

I have already spoken to devs for SOE (Sony online ent) they can't even understand what Bitcoin is, never mind how it works, I gave up after 90 mins.  They have no interest at this point, in fact when I explained how they could create a real world commodity in the likes of EQ2, they laughed.  The reply I got was "we have Station cards" completely missing the entire point and refusing to understand crypto has one single benefit to them.

In conclusion.  Keep chipping away with small firms if that's the way you want to go (i.e. Minecraft is a good start Bumface) but it seems there is still a LONG way to go before even guys who work in their dream geek jobs manage to even comprehend crypto and it's benefits of how they can use it to their advantage both inside and out of games.

What are the thoughts/opinions of the rest of the UTC team/community?

P.S:  Have taken wallet offline just now seeing some of these posts @UTC team, is there any issues or is everything cool?
I agree with both of you. Devs and the comunity have to focus on convincing as many companies as they can to use UTC. We'll see what will happen after Minecraft plugin is launched, maybe we can focus on that and find other games where UTC can be implemented. If we succeed I bet millions of other coins will try the same. We need to be one step ahead.
Most of people here haven't read what rapture wrote because the want to "chase squirrels" and want UTC price go up as fast as possible so they can earn easy money.

So, any news on that? Is the hard fork confirmed or is there any way to reenact this, to see myself that this actually happened?

Or any advice? Is it a bad idea to keep the wallet open for now?
I can't get the block explorer to load so I can compare what it says to the wallet. Not good.
I think it's all because PoS started yesterday.
That should not stop the block explorer from working. There is something else going on here.
PoS yesterday and nfactor change today, maby it's all together.
