at this moment Musicoin = YouTube = worst per-stream payouts.
They need to improve their payment per stream. Otherwise, musicians will just stick to youtube and not bother this app. Or the reason of low payment might be because they are just in the early phase of launching this to the public. Give them time to gain more viewers and users.

Bitcoin has its use cases as store asset, or for transaction with cheap fees, and fast speed.
Musicoin should have its own use cases.
That's true, there's so much that the coin could be used for that only staying as a payment method is underusing it. I mean if the only purpose of the coin would be to pay musicians for their songs, I think it would be so much easier to just make it a token, but the coin is a whole entire blockchain ecosystem, and I think not taking advantage of that is limiting the coin's growth.

It was being drained by few musicians self-playing their music for over thousands of plays per day. That's a lot of MUSIC considering for the USD price, we were getting around 12 MUSIC per play. Now we just have to wait to see what the devs do to sort things out.
