just FYI, new wallet coming out, probably tomorrow, that will be mandatory to remain on the correct fork past block 145,000.

It makes block rewards static, among other changes to help prevent/curb manipulation.

Got 1200-1600 doge per day mining fast-pool (with 1.3Mhash). Other pool gave 4850 doge per day.

Something doesn't add up but which one is it? Fast-pool didn't pay what it should or other pool giving too much?

Which other pool did you try?
MuPool.com

Yeah I looked at that. The problem with low hash rate pools is that you'll have to mine a looooong time there to get a good per day average. Otherwise, if you get a a block near 500k, you'll get a nice payout, but if the block that's found is low payout, you'll have mined for half a day for 2 doge.

Im mining 2.200 doges / mhs / day!! Are you kiddin me??
Something wrong? I should be mining ~5000

Mining calculators give you absolute best case and don't factor in stales, orphans, pool efficiency, and most of all.. luck.

About all you can really do if you think your payouts are too low is to just go to another pool. But I think you'll find other pools don't really perform any better.

great, so my 13,590 valids are worthless now?

I've been mining on fast-pool since i started doge mining and stayed loyal, can I get any kind of compensation?

Uh, you were warned to stop mining on dogepolis a while ago.. by us as well as a message on the pool itself to go back to fast-pool. Also, while dogepolis is associated with fast-pool, it isn't fast-pool. So i'm not sure what mining on fast-pool would have to do with mining on dogepolis.

and those shares weren't 'worthless'  They were applied to a block when one was found. unfortunately it was a low value block, and since the payouts are proportional, you got whatever percentage your shares equaled.

your 13.5k shares sounds like a lot until you realize there were 56 MILLION shares total in that block.

People need to just cash out of dogepolis and let it die. I imagine it will go dark before much longer.  I think it's only been fixed temporarily to give people a chance to pull what doge they have in it out.

I went from making 500 coins overnight to 50. Damn!

You have to watch it over time, not hour by hour.

Block amounts are random and luck is a factor.  If the pool gets a string of bad luck and gets a lot of low value blocks, payout will be lower than average for that period. Just like it can be higher than average if there is really good luck and a long string of high value blocks are found.

IMHO from what i've seen.. except for that string of horrible luck that happened on fast-pool while dogepolis was actually functioning, fast-pool has actually had really good luck overall.

I can't get manual payout to work....I did one a few hrs ago and it isn't working for me.
I tried doing it again but of course it says X - "You already have one active manual payout request"

If manual payouts are disabled, just let us know when they can be used again please.

EDIT: If its just a big delay on payouts due to the recent fork/issues....no big deal...I'll wait it out.

My brother did one yesterday and it took over 12 hours to finally show up in his wallet. So apparently they do work, just extremely slow.  I also have one pending from about 6 hours ago that still hasn't gone through as well.

So what's the deal with dogepolis?  Having read through the dev convo on github regarding the fork, there appears to be patches/workarounds to make 1.4.x wallets use the correct fork and sync properly, as well as 1.5.2 should have fixed the pool payout issues.

Every other pool seems to have gotten over the fork now. So what exactly is the 'problem with the code' that's causing payouts on dogepolis to remain disabled?

I hope no one is still mining dogepolis...but if the hashrate is correct they are. Unbelievably pathetic....

It will die off as people give up on it. It hasn't been dead even for two days yet so give it time. People will dump it when they see they aren't getting anything.
I originally switched to it because fast-pool was having horrible luck for 3 days straight as far as block rewards, and dogepolis was having really good luck.  I started switching stuff back to fast pool myself last night, and just got the last of the scattered cpu miners I have around changed today.

yes we was down at the morning...

we checked new ddos protection...heh..didn't work

anybody else having any issue?

Fast-pool,
Can you tell us why dogepolis has been on the same block now for over 24 hours? It's at like 870%.
Maybe something should be reset? Something is definitely very wrong with Dogepolis and we haven't heard a thing...

I also have 700 doge in there that I'd like to get out until things are fixed...

The way I see it there are three options. a) they're really on the wrong fork, b) everything is actually working and blocks are being found and paid to the pool wallet and MPOS is just borked and not registering any of it, and everyone will get a REALLY BIG payout when it gets fixed. or c) it's a scam, mpos was intentionally broken, blocks are being found and paid to the pool but the maintainer is pocketing the funds.

I was giving them the benefit of the doubt all day yesterday, but unfortunately due to the lack of real news from anyone who could give it after more than 24 hours of this, my money is on C now.
