Trust me if you want. $2 is chump change to be fair but it's a lot of effort to get cash into Bitcoin especially for such a small amount. Don't ask me for collateral. If I had something, I would've sold it.

Here's a small exchange I did a short time ago:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1589195.msg15960525#msg15960525

Anyway if you trust me, thanks. I'll repay $3 within two weeks.

You say yourself, you have no collateral, so the reply is simply no loan for you, please lock this topic yourself and come back if you can offer some collateral.

I understand but if I had something worth $2, I'd sell it. I can get the money easily but it's 11:11pm here and WAY TOO MUCH effort to get $2 cash into Bitcoin when I just need it for a short time. I can offer my account as collateral, it has 48 potential activity but the point isn't what my collateral is worth, it's about mutual trust. I've got no reason to scam for $2.
Well is it way too much effort to ask your parents or friends, or is it just too shameful to scam in real life?
I do understand where you are coming from when it comes to asking for assistance from parents and friends and all, but I do understand where they may be an issue.  There are not to many places you can transfer small amounts of money on Bitcoin.  Also, and I know this would be the case for me, not all family's deal with bitcoin at all.  I know none of my family understands bitcoin let alone has an account.  I do get where you are coming from, just had to throw my two cents in there!!!

Read this idiot's last post.  If someone can't lend $2, they shouldn't be lending...bla bla bla.  That's why I said what I said AND why I left him red trust.  It's not an issue with parents not using bitcoin, it's an issue with their child's attitude and integrity.

Typical. A bullied child that has to resort to being a dickhead online. Read my last post. You don't know me, so fuck off, this is the lending section and I made a request that has literally NOTHING to do with you. Giving me negative trust for DOING NOTHING wrong is like you punishing someone for walking into a hospital.

This is the lending section. By FORUM STANDARDS, collateral is NOT REQUIRED. I don't go around giving negatives to people who do something I don't like, now do I? Fuck off.

I've got $100 under my bed lol but if I wanted to go to the store and buy a card + pay a $7 fee for a card then use an online exchange & pay the rates to end up with 50% of the original amount I had in btc I would. But I don't want to go through all of that bullshit for just $2. And I need it in Bitcoin. None of my friends or family use Bitcoin so that's out of the question.

The issue you have is that you have no trust here.  There is no way you can ask us to trust you as a newbie when we have no security you are going to pay back.  We are not saying you are a bad person, you just have no security here.  This is not like a bank where you come in and furnish your id and pay stubs and get money then go on your way.  We can not verify you and there is no trust.  This is why we require collateral.  No Collateral, no loan.

I understand that, but I'm sure that you can also understand that collateral isn't required per sé. I know I have no trust but it's not like I want to farm trust to take out a 5 million dollar loan. All I need is this $2 loan which once I pay back will be finished and I'll most likely refrain from asking for a loan again.
How you benefit if you trust me: you get free money.
If something happens, you lose $2. If someone can't afford to lose $2, they shouldn't be loaning. But the thing is I am going to pay back. If I had collateral, I would have sold it for the $2 I need.

I am not going to support what you are trying to do and I am not going to knock it either.  I will say that the way that you have went about it the completely wrong way.  You should start a thread for an investor looking to increase their portfolio.  It does not seem like you are tying to get people just to send you funds, but you should make it known you are looking and what you are offering.  Tell them a little about what you are doing so they get enough information on whether or not to message you.  From the information you provided, it does look like you are scamming someone or trying to; however if you put more information in you might get somewhere.
You are taking this way too seriously. Have you even read the thread? Do you really think someone is going to lend 41BTC and repay 100% of the loan as interest and then say things like:

Never say never, sugar tits.
y'all are hateful.

when they meet the just smallest difficulties. This is like one of the "I am the pro lender to this place" threads. They aren't made to be taken seriously and yet someone apparently does...
No, I do not take this guy seriously; however, I do not want others who may come with the same approach to get slammed like this guy just did.  There are a number of people out there with great ideas who will approach a loan like this and get slammed.  I just do not want to see the actual people who are looking to get messed up like this guy did. I would not give this guy a 1 satoshi loan, let alone something like this.

Honestly, the manner in which we approach newbies on this forum is horrible. We've grown accustomed to recognising every newbie as a scammer. We have to be able to reason with them and then deduce whether or not the guy is a scammer.

What kind of insult is "sugar tits"? xP

I do not find anything "horrible" about being a dick to a scammer~who creates an account time and time again in the hopes of scamming.  That's the only thing I'm accustomed to. Create account and request loan. Some maybe doing it for shits n giggles?  Perhaps some even think they can get a sucker.  Don't know don't care.  I will apply feedback to as many of them as I see.

The forum HAS deduced....NO collateral NO loan...NO your "documents" aren't collateral..NO your word isn't collateral.....NO your sisters panties aren't fukin collateral  Angry

I didn't even care about the "newbie" what caught my eye IS THE OBVIOUS LAZY ASS SCAM ATTEMPT (ya not to mention 41BTC)  But, this lazy ass just copied and pasted his reddit post looooooooooooooooooooool now OP GTFO Cheesy

Yes, I'm new here. Yes, I most likely didn't format my headline correctly or with enough flair... and honestly I'm quite sure what kind of spirit animal a redditor is, but looking around so far I like where I've ended up.

I've got a fantastic opportunity that's taken months in the making, but is ready to go. It's a quick 14 day loan with a 100% turnaround. I don't have collateral (no need to yell... I have a brain, I get it), I'm hoping that the payoff and short term is incentive enough to someone. I'm located in Los Angeles, live a quiet sun filled life, and would love to see my meticulous plan come to life and make everyone do the little reddit dance.

that's a thing, right?

Please get back to me as soon as you are able. Serious and non sketchy inquiries only please. Obviously a quick but trusted relationship must be built here before anything moves forward. Play smart kiddies! <----meant with the upmost respect, gods of the reddit!

Take care,

WehoPup

"The forum HAS deduced....NO collateral NO loan...NO your "documents" aren't collateral..NO your word isn't collateral.....NO your sisters panties aren't fukin collateral  Angry"

Are you just retarded? It's not an official rule you cunt. It's a user made rule, if it was official across the forum than we would all be banned but we aren't, now are we? Go spam for your signature on another forum,

I love the irony that in a community with an ideology highly focused on privacy and freedom, someone feels it is their right to tell me who to trust and what I can advertise.

You should create your own forum. This one is full of third world country scammers, spammers and literal retards. From what I've seen, most would kill their own mother for a few cents. They're the biggest hypocrites, considering the fact that if they were paid even 1/2 of what you were to wear the signature, they wouldn't think twice before accepting.

I think Quickseller really should kill himself.

Here's a man who's decent enough to straight up say it instead of causing a controversial topic like this.

Lutpin, I recommend that you take some time off to figure out what to do with your life and stop mini modding the forum, it's about Bitcoin; not spammers. You've practically done nothing for Bitcoin or its users, so why should you have the right to be on DT? Especially considering the fact that you abuse it so much.

OGNasty has a point. He can do whatever the fuck he wants to with his signature and if you were harassing him about it, you're clearly the wrong one. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean you should harass someone over it. If someone sees his signature and goes on the site that he's advertising, it's not his fault that they are stupid enough to not do any background searching. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1589940.0 Really? You gave him a negative trust over something as stupid as this? Sorry to say this mate, but you don't know a single fucking thing about life. If you're seriously crying over something as small as him saying that because he got fed up, you should just sell your computer. From what I've seen, OGNasty has done nothing but help everyone. His escrow service is probably one of the most trusted ones I've seen. He has never failed to impress me.

Let's also look at some facts.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=520313 - You've been here for one year. And going through your posts, all you have really done is expose spammers or scammers & give many people false reputation.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18321 - He has been here for multiple years. He has helped countless uses and the forum. He uses his own time to help people.

I don't understand why you retards think that the trust system can be used just because someone hurt your small-minded self & feelings. In any forum, the trust should be over someone who has done something to benefit a bunch of people, someone who is trustworthy or just someone who deserves it.

I agree with suchmoon on most of this.

"After reading the first three pages I was going to suggest that whoever posted the neg first should revise it to neutral and ask the other person to do the same and move on. Turns out even that is subject to finger-pointing. So no way to come to an agreement on who negged first? How about a cease fire for 72 hours, no public or personal communications, and rethink the whole situation after that? Ignore Twitchy and others trying to fan the fire. Surely both Og and Lutpin should be able to see how ridiculous this has become. No two people on this forum can ever 100% agree on everything. But up until this debacle I would have counted OgNasty and Lutpin among people who could at least agree to disagree. Can we somehow keep my illusion alive? No? Please?"

So just remove your negative trust and get the fuck over it. Kill yourself is almost never taken literally and if you get offended by it, you're just an uneducated retard?

You have provided a valid bitcoin address on your other thread you closed, but you did not provide a signed message from that address.  Once you provide a signed message from that address, proving it is your address, I will remove the feedback.

You're giving him negative for what? Asking a question?

"Newbie offering loans claiming he has over 9 BTC to lend. Safety proof listed in thread to clear this trust. All users who use this lender before proof of no scam is provided - BEWARE!! Possible scam. (See Reference)"

Lol yeah, just keep increasing your online penis size mate.
Sorry, you might not have been around long enough, even though this is probably an alt of yours or your other account was bad, but this is a classic escrow scheme.  Say you have a ton of money to loan in hopes of getting some new individual to pass escrow off to this user for a loan and the collateral disappears.  The user is not responding to requests to prove the amount, then to prove he owns the address in which the amount sits.  He has been on a number of times since then and he has only provided an address with a bunch of bitcoin on it.  Prove it is his and the feedback will be removed.  this is what you do to protect the reputation of forums like this.

Do you have any proof? He was asking for advice. That's like putting someone in a jail cell for being black because other black people killed someone a few weeks ago in another country. Maybe he doesn't want to share his address for safety? I did that once and lost thousands. I know what an escrow scam is, but if the dumb ass user's who borrow money aren't retarded, they would never happen. You can't blame the scammer's for scamming with this when the people who are falling for it are doing it to themselves. That is like saying McDonalds is a scam corporation. They wouldn't be running if people didn't buy from them, right?
"Prove it is his and the feedback will be removed.  this is what you do to protect the reputation of forums like
LOL as soon as you put the word "bitcoin" and "scammer" together, this site pops up with the most results mate. You think that you giving one non-visible negative feedback will do ANYTHING? No. Sorry to tell you, but you're just an attention seeker my friend.
