Hey GazetaBitcoin,

I'll translate all remaining topics "in progress" that don't have a Portuguese translation. I'll start this weekend.

After these, I'll start translating the others on the list that haven't been translated into Portuguese yet.

Re: How is wealth distributed through Gambling
by

The goal of regulating casinos is to generate revenue for governments, and this revenue should be directed to the needs of the country and its population. Unfortunately, this isn't the case here in Brazil; there's still a significant lack of infrastructure, health problems, and many schools are substandard. Poor financial management and even corruption prevent progress. There's a strong campaign to tax online casinos, but I know this money won't reach those most in need. It's a vicious cycle that will never end!

Re: 🐳 Whale.io - Casino & Sportsbook 💰 Daily Cashbacks 💰

However, most of the casinos will impose restrictions on free bets wins to prevent players from easily cashing out large amount out of the casino. One way to stop them is to increase the wagering requirement [...]
If you are a regular gambler here on the forum and see that the project holds a lot of simple and clear raffles and contests, I don't see any problems with making a deposit of 5 bucks... just so that the system recognizes you as a real player and not a bot.

I also don't see any problem and agree that there should be some wagering requirement to withdraw free bet winnings. I feel uncomfortable when the required amounts are too high and perhaps don't even compensate for the minimal winnings. Furthermore, I think $5, even $10, are reasonable amounts in this case. Free bets are a way to attract gamblers, not adventurers who will register on the site, redeem the prize, and then never use it again...

Re: What is the cost of your mistakes?

My mistakes weren't costly, but they taught me a lot, especially about separating gambling money from personal expenses. I made a few mistakes like that and ended up having to borrow money to pay my bills. Psychologically, I wasn't affected, but it was something I decided never to go through again.

Re: When you're winning you can't sleep

For me, this is related to the anxiety and excitement that betting causes; mixing coffee, energy drinks, or other drugs will only intensify the effect of these sensations. Personally, I have a set schedule for my activities; I rarely spend more than two hours betting. Using the example given for a sports bet, I simply place the bet and wait for the result; following the game won't make it go my way. Of course, I enjoy watching the matches and bet more on the local championship; I don't have to force myself to stay up late at night, for example.

I don't know the companies' revenues, but I know they're completely different businesses; both have their advantages and disadvantages. Of course, casinos are booming right now, even with greater visibility, but that doesn't mean they're better.

Re: France Wants People to Work More for Less
by

on 22/07/2025, 23:53:44 UTC
Regarding holidays here in Brazil, there's a better chance of creating new ones than eliminating them. Those who work on holidays earn a little more. In my opinion, that's what shifts are for: while one works, the other rests, and the economy keeps going. Some people like to work paid overtime, work on Sundays and holidays, I did this a lot for ten years, but I got paid, and those who prefer to rest...

Pay less for more work, that's exploitation!  Angry

Re: tell me a slots game that you had most wins.

I don't usually bet on just one game, even though I have my favorite slots. I like to try new ones released in casinos. I've had some wins like that, for example, on Hacksaw's Le King, where I won a good amount of money (nothing exorbitant), but it was worth it. Loki Loot has also given me a few wins. I recommend experimenting with slots whenever possible; there's a good variety available!

Re: Which is more regrettable?

I used to have "favorite numbers" for the lottery we have here in Brazil. I realized this was limiting me and ended up changing. Nowadays, I choose the numbers when I get to the place where the bets are being taken. Sometimes I go with the bet already prepared, with the numbers already decided. I stopped betting on the same set of numbers a long time ago. Imagine, you decide to make a different bet and the result is the numbers you bet on before? I think I would go crazy... Grin

If I'm not mistaken, Whale Casino also has its own token or is about to launch one. I confess, I wasn't aware of the possibility of investing in the casino's bankroll and earning a share of the revenue. I'll look into it; I found it quite interesting...

Re: Treta sobre P2P
by

on 22/07/2025, 01:19:47 UTC

Re: How can you enjoy the game when you are losing?
by
r_victory
on 22/07/2025, 00:26:31 UTC
A gambler's sole objective is to win, to multiply their bet, if possible by 10x, 100x. So why play free games? What drives a gambler is adrenaline, the excitement of a good poker hand, the sound of the roulette wheel spinning, or the dice rolling. And the main thing is money, the desire to win, the fear of losing. Without that, what's the point?

Re: Would you allow your underage kid to use your detail for KYC after a big win.

I know the kind of education I provide for my daughters, and I know I wouldn't have to face this dilemma. But it's a conflicting situation. A father who may be going through a difficult financial situation can overlook it and allow it. In that case, I would leave him penniless as a lesson for his disobedience.

If the father doesn't provide the documentation, someone else will. Young people and teenagers are creative and will certainly find a way to obtain it.

Re: Have you been addicted to gambling in the past.
by
r_victory
on 21/07/2025, 22:43:43 UTC
I've never had a gambling addiction problem, but I know the feeling of helplessness it causes. I've had addiction problems with other things, like alcohol and cigarettes. It was a huge struggle, as I had to continue living with people who did the same things and didn't want to stop. I decided to distance myself from them and started socializing in different environments. I made new friends; many had already overcome their addiction, while others never even had a problem. I imagine it's even more difficult with gambling; computers and smartphones are always at your disposal. I suggest you start socializing in environments where you can share experiences of overcoming addiction, groups of people who want to quit. You need to admit and take responsibility for your addiction, accept that you have a problem, that in a way, you're "sick" and need help, and seek a qualified professional to deal with it.

Re: How annoying is KYC for crypto gambling?
by
r_victory
on 20/07/2025, 16:25:57 UTC
Can you give example of the unreasonable request you meant? Even if the casino request for passport, drivers license, or any valid ID, it is still a valuable secret information. If the the casino doesn't ask for proof of address, they can use the customer's IP address to locate the person if there's need to do so. Also, there are some casino that doesn't ask for KYC information until you want to withdraw.

Well, everything you mentioned is common and normal for them to ask. By unreasonable, I mean something outside of that norm. And I don't have any examples to give you; they haven't asked for anything different yet, but use your imagination. What would be strange if they asked you? I don't know, your sexual orientation, your religion?

Re: [Gambling Game] Aviamasters

I've already tested this game, but I didn't bet. I played the demo to get to know it, but I didn't like it. The regular Aviator is better in my opinion. There might be some users here who have played it or are playing it and like it. I didn't understand the dynamics of it, and I couldn't imagine actually gambling on it...

Re: Visited physical casinos to have real life experience and guess what?

Unfortunately, brick-and-mortar casinos are not permitted in Brazil. I would love to visit one, interact with other gamblers, and have a drink (in my case, non-alcoholic  Wink).

As I mentioned in another thread, it's impossible to say which is more transparent, online or brick-and-mortar, unless a more detailed investigation is conducted, a thorough audit conducted by someone qualified for this purpose.
