10 % por dia  <- impossivel
O dobro em 20 dias! <- Huh se da 10 % ao dia em 8 dias ja teria o dobro .. alerta 1
DupliCoin
Investimento:
> 0.1 BTC < - padrão que os ladões pedem
10%

U$ 'works for you' by borrowing money to banks, so they create 100x the U$ you 'borrowed' them, paying a low fee. Since the idea is get off this 'debt system'... Cheesy

The other way would be investing in crypto stocks.. then the answer would be  wait Sir, things takes time to happen.

What on earth does all of that mean? I can't tell if you just don't speak English well, don't know what you're talking about or if you are a bot that throws a bunch of money/bitcoin sentences together.

To the OP: just hold your BTC and buy some more if you can. Then hold and in 2 years you'll be a very happy man.

I don't have to write perfect English to think.

If the idea is change the status of 'debt based economy' to 'resources based economy', you cant 'borrow' money for banks/people/animals/God and receive a fee for that.

About the crypto-stocks, we just don't have yet all the technology to assist people to invest in stocks with bitcoin. Soon..

Boa sorte!

Lets face it, all the action happens around Thursdays. April 11th dip, regular upswings etc. Tomorrow could be the day we surpass 700. Thoughts appreciated.

Yep. Just synch it up in a new wallet and enter the password to send funds. You could encrypt it again using something though if you wanted.

Nice! Thank you Sir! Smiley

It's for all the addresses and it's encrypted automatically.

That's good. Probably a semi-retard question but.. how do I unencrypt? Main password?

Question about blockchain's wallet backup
by
rafamadeira
on 04/06/2014, 15:53:02 UTC
I hold all my bitcoins in a Blockchain account, which has 3 different addresses. I know the risks and I will keep the coins there until a decent and affordable hardware wallet begin to be sold.
My question is: Do I have to do 3 backups - 1 for each address - or is the backup for the whole account? How can I encrypt the backup?

Zip then encrypt?

Thanks Cheesy

Re: Why Bitcoin is ultimately doomed to fail (not today or tomorrow)
by
rafamadeira
on 04/06/2014, 03:08:16 UTC
They say that right now there are about 12 million bitcoins in total, some part of which stashed away. Eventually the production of new coins will stop, so only around 21 million of them will be available, and no more... Now, what will happen next if it ever comes to that, and Bitcoin is finally accepted as a legal tender?

I think that nothing life-changing is actually going to happen. We have already been there. And by there I mean a time period in the 19th century, commonly referred to as a Free Banking Era, when banks could issue bank notes against specie (gold and silver coins). It was during those times when the term inflation began entering into widespread usage and emerging in literature, though not as a reference to price changes but as something pointing to disproportions between paper representing money and the amount of specie actually available in the bank

So, this time instead of gold, we will have Bitcoin (which will be hoarded as per Gresham's law), and all kinds of "paper" derivatives inevitably entering the circulation as a means of exchange. These "papers" allegedly backed up by Bitcoin will in fact leave behind them only inflation, even despite Bitcoin intrinsic deflationary nature...

And welcome back to fiat!

Good point.

The thing is, people have to accept this derivate as a mean of exchange. If we continue to trade bitcoins and only bitcoins, we won't have that problem. Thus, the whole idea is about not having a third party, such as banks.
