Re: Blockchain ideas

Why not let's not advised the kid to create his own crypto? Isn't there any idea for products that are not on a different network than bitcoin? I would suggest this way so we don't have more and more tokens to come. Would that be great?

Re: What’s the weirdest thing that you’ve kept in your wallet?

It may not be what some would call weird but in my Teenager days I use to always carry protection around with me.

Protection being a condom because I was a ladies man and you never know when the magic opportunity was going to present itself.

I remembered the day I thought I have protection in my wallet. I eagerly and excitedly go with it. And when I checked my wallet. It is gone already. Might have used it before already.. So yeah, we don't miss those magic opportunities so, yeah.

Re: DOGE To The Moon
by

I was watching a youtube livestream last night when someone superchatted about DoggyCoin (the right way to say it, by the way, not DDDOOOOGGGGJJJJZZZZZEEEcoin), and I immediately hopped on my trading accounts and transferred BTC to an exchange that handles DOGE, and bought 10,400 at a price of 213 satoshis (about 6 cents) each.

Now, we need to pump the hell out of DOGE, for any reason or no reason.  I don't care, I just want to make an enormous profit for nothing.

I hope. But in the looks of things, it seems you didn't manage to get in the wagon on time. Let's just hope the ripple effect will be wider in the coming days.

I thought this was an ad of some sort. But why would they put a number on it? But it seems really topping on change. Is it really topping? I clicked on it and it seems there is no data yet in CMC.

Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor

Depends on the situation in the country. It would help if the government in that country supports bitcoin. Mainly, in terms of promoting it and educating people about it. But in most cases, they not.

Though like the second post in the thread, middle-class people who learned about bitcoin might get a chance to be rich.

Re: Plagiarised Bounty content

I feel this is a bit hard to justify from the plagiarized side, as the fonts and mistakes are the same. But I would agree that in most cases bounties has the same rules and regulations, and also details about them.

Is there rules or pointers on plagiarism in this forum? I think there should be.

You are might probably think that it is a constant hype in crypto but it is not. If you can't ride the ups and downs well, then you will most likely lose. Tip study trading first.

Re: Storing data on Bitcoin blockchain?
by
ranman09
on 23/01/2021, 03:19:03 UTC
I think there are projects before that do this. But I think they are not directly storing in bitcoin. There is a reason why signed messages are the only popular way. They have their own chain and I think the storage is encrypted in a way that is connected to their own chain. Most of the projects are in ETH before.

Probably those people in the tech industry and are anxious to have the vaccine as early as possible. If it's free then there is a possibility that it will somehow run supplies. Some people will probably wait for a lot longer than others.

But 1000usd for a vaccine is too much. I had news that 1 Moderna vaccine sells at 75usd only.

So this means the campaign goes well and the Bounty Hunters are all paid? Meaning Amepay proves theur legitimacy and their Main objective is to Make Name in this community and Gain trust and investors.

In our time now that we can rarely find a Project like this, with High volume of Bounties yet Paying ?
All the participants are very Lucky and must be thankful in having part of this.

Thats All and thanks for the reply Mate , Good day/afternoon/night.

Yes, they are still running the bounty up to this point. I believe this is their second bounty. There are coin holders of it still before. They also pay weekly. Really thankful to have found the bounty.

What? HAHA! so he was trying to control the distribution of the white paper? So what, he can release it on Amazon Kindle? He would do this, all of this, for money?

I'm not that familiar with him, is he somehow related to Craig's List?

You've gone through all those things just so they can say that your account can't be unlocked? Are you sure you are talking to real HitBTC support? Maybe you can file a legal case if you are really talking to real HitBTC support.

One thing that can also help you here is posting it on Twitter tagging their social account. Ask friends to retweet it. Post it here so we can help.

Then this forum will have lots of High-rank accounts that spam. If accounts can be easily bought with money then this forum will be filled with people who really don't know how the forum works and even the ecosystem of cryptocurrencies. They will be no match for those who hardly earned their ranks through experience and helping people.

Re: Decentralized Marketplaces: Do they have a future?
by
ranman09
on 17/01/2021, 05:45:21 UTC
I guess the edge that centralized marketplaces have are consumer and seller protection.

eBay's Money Back Guarantee is far from perfect, though it ensures that the seller delivers what the post says. Same goes to Amazon. They also have protections for seller in place in case the buyer deviates from good buying practices. So far, I haven't seen decentralized marketplaces offer such protections from both parties, and perhaps that's why people will still choose to buy and sell on these marketplaces despite the high fee.

People tend to always play on the safe side, and employ fail-safes in order to not get burned fully. It boils down on what the consumers and the merchants think, and decentralized marketplaces don't address that directly.

My thoughts exactly, irrespective of how imperfect the money back guarantee may appear it gives some level of assurance that you will either get what you ordered for or have a complete refund in the event that you receive something different, same can not be guaranteed on the decentralize market place, nobody wants to buy in an unregulated platform, this is an important aspect that will always give centralized market place an edge of the latter.

True. If I were to choose between the two I would go with the once centralized. It is where I will feel a little bit protected. There too many bad people online it is nice to know that you are somehow backed buy something/someone being a buyer.

It is still fiat just in digital form. Still controlled and regulated no matter what they tell it isn't. So there is actually no fight here. From what I think, non-technical people who don't know bitcoin might get confused. Comparing money with an asset. *yes for me Bitcoin seems like an asset.

Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating
by

This is a good read! Thank you, OP. I hope there is more of this in the forum. I am amazed that there so many ways to beat a casino. And that there is a girl within them. Seems gambling is not just luck but also a mind game.

I disagree lol. It's not a mind game when a player is competing against computer or games where only luck is involved, for example, games like roulette, dice, plinko, keno, these games are totally random and there's no mindtrick we can use. In games where sometimes skill is needed like blackjack, then also we can't use any trick because even though there's some strategy needed, it depends majorly on the luck of the person what cards they get!

Most people mentioned by OP used tricks, devices and cheated to beat the casino. This only shows that it takes that far to really beat a casino. I agree that it really requires a lot of luck for you to be able to win a lot in a casino, but it is very rare to win over a casino without a trick. In some cases casinos review activities within their premises if someone wins too often to assure thay are not being tricked.

The reason why it not only requires just luck. You will also need to think. Cards given might be based on luck. But how you play the whole game is greatly affected by your mind. As long as you win the whole game you beat the casino somehow.

A bit scared. But we need something to make us immune to the virus. I won't let the virus get in me and make me suffer. For me, it is better to risk. But if the mask will still work, then I might delay the vaccination.
