If you go all the way back on this thread to page #9 you can see the day I almost got a block. I kept 1x S9 pointed at the pool ever since with the rest of my gear on a pool. The machine I kept pointed here was the one that would've found that block since it was a lucky machine but no dice.

It's a lotto you have the same chance of finding a block as anyone but just like the mega millions the more tickets you buy (hash power) the more of a chance you have of winning, like the guy that found 2 blocks the other day that was insane BTW super cool to see.

Well y'all, it's been interesting for the last few years here on the solo lottery. Never found anything besides the block that I lost because the old server was a POS and made me lose 12.5 BTC. But I still played anyway and never struck again. I'm moving and won't have free electric anymore so I sold all my minig rigs today. So now that I moved my miners to RVN I want to make money with ETH but I don't have 32 ETH to stake, more like 1.5 ETH. Is there a pool for staking how does it work? Is there a reputable pool for staking? I was going to do ethermine but they don't allow staking from the USA. I'm not gonna sell unless the prices goes way up again and I'm fine with just holding it but I'd like to earn interest or wherever if someone could help point me in the right direction.

I moved to mining RVN. I was on ETH at 200 mh/s and now I'm on RVN at 102mh/s which is about as expected half of the speed of ETH. Price of profit is the highest according to what to mine and I've done RVN in the past so I had everything already setup so no need to make a new wallet or reconfig a miner

I need to buy 2x APW8 16.32V - 20.04V power supply for Antminer S15. I'm in the USA and willing to pay shipping or if in CA i could drive for pickup.

I have 3x S15 and 2 of them the power supply just took a shit in November, I sent them off to myrig for repair and they cant fix them. So now i have 2 miners and no power supply. I've looked everywhere and i cant find any APW8 power supplies 16.32V - 20.04V.

I was looking around and noticed that the APW9 is 14.5V-21V and looks like the same hookup as the APW8 but it has 2 input ports for power so my question is will the APW9 work on an S15 miner and why is there 2 power ports does that mean i need 2x 240v lines for each power supply if i was to use it?

If nothing else where can i buy a APW8 16.32V - 20.04V

Yup i switched to 2 miners solo raven and its working great i'm getting a ton more hash than i was on NB miner too.
With NB miner i was getting 70mh across all my computers with TRM i'm getting 124mh

Ive been mining ETH for over a year on phoenix and decide to switch to RVN and i can get NB miner to work fine but i heard i could get a few extra mh from team red miner. i set it up as right as i can tell  and when it loads it says it timed out trying to connect to the pool. pics attached for ref. in my config ive tried the way the strantum is written and tried -p with a blank spot and ive tried with it as 1 like the pool says but nothing seems to work. I'm super confused and its prob something stupid that i missed please let me know any ideas to make it work.

I have the VM set to 30-45gb since I have 6 cards I need at least 29gb according to phoenix miner when it opens up.
I have the stock bios on the cards. Bios flashing on a card without dual bios is not something I'm gonna do.
It only goes to shit when the radeon driver updates. How do I stop it from auto updating?

I tried one card at a time and went through all 6 cards then all 6 riders can't get the errors to happen again.
However a new problem has presented itself
I think it's caused by windows or radeon downloaded the new driver because it crashed and I did a DDU and put 20.8.1 amd it works fine again. How do I stop it from doing that shit?

Well shit, ok it's been going fine all night at stock settings.
But I will crank up the oc and monitor the temp and see if I can decect which one is crashing. Doing one riser at a time sounds like a pain. Although yeah I know one at a time is always how to diagnose stuff. I never would've thought a riser or something went to shit that wasn't even on my radar as a possibility.
I've had them fail in the past but it was obvious as the power cable melted or something showed signs of burning or melting

I am currently using phoenix miner and I don't see the reason to change mining software. It is still working at stock speeds but i just can't figure out what was causing the crashes in the first place.
If it still works in the morning I'll try to move it back to 1850 on the memory and see what happens.

Today it just crashed randomly and I can't get it to work again.
Did DDU and installed 20.8.1
Running 5.4c and tried 5.5c with no change
Tried changing my OC on afterburner to stock speed or lower no change
I got 6x 570 8gb, biostar TB350-BTC, AMD ryzen 3 1200, and 8gb 2400 ram. the computer turns on and runs just fine and I can use it with no issues until it try to mine then it goes to shit.
Usually within seconds of the last GPU DAG generated thing coming up and all 6 cards reading their individual speeds screen goes blank and I gotta reboot.
Tried changing the config file to -gt 0 instead of 15 no change. actually it got worse when I did that as soon as the auto tune popped up it crashed in seconds before the DAG was even done I think. I don't but it def crashes faster when the -gt is set to anything besides 15 which is where it's been at for like a year and a half with no issue.
I've also cleared the CMOS and redid the bios settings, I also tried loading the bios defaults. I also just updated the bios to the newest one with no change, I was only 1 bios very behind the current so not much of an update I suppose. Although after the bios update it mines for a second then right before it crashed I noticed GPU4 went from 35c to 513c then it crashed but with a BSOD instead of a black screen, bsod said vga failure. Normally mining temp is like 65-70c but since it is just starting that's why it's 35c. How can it runaway spike like that?

Then I ran 4 nothing then 5 nothing all 6 are running for 9 min as I type this and all is well running at stock everything no dials have been adjusted in afterburner.
