Re: [HAVELOCK] (HIF) Havelock Investments Fund

I know your pain... Pretty much the exact same thing happened to me.

Keep emailing them, keep responding to their questions as best you can, keep making noise and you will get access to the account and your money back! Well I did anyway, but it was painful...

Thanks for the feedback, I have sent 3 emails over the last two weeks, and no replies yet.  My initial email thread was a few months back.  I'm going to try calling them tomorrow I think.

I've been trying to access my Havelock account all fall.  It also is giving me a 2fa error.  The thing is, Authy and GAuthenticator moved all my codes over from my previous phone, and there isn't a Havelock key on it.  Their support seems to have copy/pasted various messages to me without actually reading(or responding) to my requests.  Primarily the please sign a message with the private key you used to deposit on Havelock!!!

It's been 4 years now or something like that.  I don't have whatever wallet I was using.  I just want to pull my 3BTC out.  I'm starting to wonder if they're breaking accounts on purpose or something.  I hope not...

I placed an order last September, for around the same amount total USD, maybe 11-12k.  After dealing with Nolan's bullshit for several months, and repeated delays, corrections, more data needed(which I fulfulled each and every one)...they still haven't shipped anything or refunded me my money.

As sad as it is...we got hosed. I have prettymuch given up on ever seeing it again, although I will be launching a little present their way shortly to thank them for all the BULLSHIT they've sent me =)

IronFalcon,

I just moved here the other day...
so far I discovered this place in Sunnyvale accepts BTC:
http://www.yelp.com/biz/ocean-blue-sushi-club-sunnyvale

I want to learn more sites that accept it too!  We should really convince Grubhub and Seamless to do it.

I'd like to see  more than 50 exchanges (at least) in order to be able to talk about some independent price formation, and stability from within the system.

sure thing! Talk is cheap. You should start an exchange.

If you read to the end, the post was really just a clever pump of XRP

haha =)  but also a good point, if we want a lot of public independent btc exchanges, ripple is a pretty good bet =)

I have to agree with you Bitchick, for us it really seems like EVERYONE is talking about bitcoin, but I think we are still quite a small number compared to how many people have absolutely no clue about it.

Yes, it's finished.  A larger survey would cost significantly more.  It does seem that the upper/middle class has the strongest familiarity with them.

I wanted to test out Google Consumer Surveys and made a quick Bitcoin question. Figured I'd share it here with everyone and let you peruse it.

https://www.google.com/insights/consumersurveys/view?survey=2fnkr5aboge4a&question=1&filter=&rw=1

77.6% of people sampled have never even HEARD of bitcoins before.  [1905 reponses]

Is that surprising?

okay what the hell...it came up after I used the https:....but now it stopped.  Even with https, all I am getting is a failed DNS lookup.  Tried it in a fresh browser, and from a remote windows server, same thing.   :/
