Some people discuss its a scam, others say it's technology is incredible and speaks for itself.

Thx for clarifying!

So I must have sent them somewhere else, maybe to another wallet, either on a client or on an exchange (but I cannot remember). Is there a 42-coin explorer website where I can find adresses and transactions like for btc and search for that adress if the funds remained there or have been moved?

Unfortunately, the explorer website for OLD 42 has been missing since 2017.

bummer, but thx anyway for keeping the 42 Coin running and up, I still enjoy the project and the idea very much!

Here is the receiving adress (the upper adress ->sent / which has been shown on 21/02/21):

4KPWGKahyNXiVnDzcwTrBhGfAS1Tt8Bizj

Thx!

Check your PM.

Thx, I tried that. It started loading the app and I left the computer.
Now I came back, and I am absolutely confused!

It was not that much inside the wallet, but it allegedely is sent away! I didn't even wait for the app to open, as I said, I left and no one was at the computer!

It is absolutely ridiculous and I wonder if there is any error..?

Here is a screenshot:

How can this happen? I am afraid to reinstall the app folder contents as by then maybe it is vanished or I can't do anything about it? How can it be, that an app sends away funds on its own??

Thanks for anyone sheding light here...I did not wanted to sell those coins (it's a fairly small amount), cause I think the long term value will be much higher I and want to keep those assets.

where can I check the receiving adress? Is there any website monitoring the transactions?

21.02.2021 is the date this transaction appeared in the wallet, not the date it was actually sent. Give us tx id and I will tell you more details.

Try this method, do the same thing but instead of finishing the downloaded files. Erased all the files in the 42 coin directory under local user . Copy the wallet.dat file and reopen the wallet. If that don't work, then what is the size of the file wallet.dat and if it's more then 1kbyte open it with notepad and search for your wallet address ..you'll might find some interesting things in your wallet.dat file using notepad!! If it's under 1kbyte then it's corrupted

Thx, I tried that. It started loading the app and I left the computer.

Hi all,

I have an old 42coin wallet.dat and installed the 42 Coin Core for windows (64bit). It updated the chain data and when I then close the app, replace the wallet.dat with mine and restart the program, I get an error message and the app doesn't start and crashes.

Any ideas?

Wallets and additional info regarding the old 42coin you can find in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1502028.msg15112160#msg15112160

Thx again, I tried everything but I cannot open my wallet with the old chain. I downloaded the latest from 02/21/21 but it doesnt work. It worked actually with the initial empty wallet, but as soon as I replaced my wallet.dat in the appdata/roaming folder of 42, it doesnt opden up again.

Is there a way to upload or open an old wallet in an online wallet?

Thx @ll

actually I typed the passprhase in word, didn't saved it and printed it. Then I hid it (and lost it afterwards). I cannot remember what the passphrase was, it was either words that I chose on purpose or I typed random characters.

I always wondered if there is any technical possibilty to access those money/coins. Because if not, than the whole blockchain system has a problem. Always when someone loses a passphrase the money is gone forever.

Lost Litecoin (LTC) passphrase for wallet! Please help!

Hi there,

I had my passphrase for my litecoins (around 250 pcs) on a sheet of paper (I know, not the smartest idea) and I lost it!

I cannot remember if I choosed it on purpose or if I just smashed the keyboard and printed the passphrase (really).

In the core I can try as many passphrases as I want, is there any way to find the right one?

thx!
