Re: Will usage of bitcoin reduce the value of native currencies?
by

The value of the national currencies will decrease regardless of what happens to Bitcoin: incompetence and corruptness of central banks and governments will force this process. In the world of devaluated fiats, the top cryptocurrencies hold ground.

It’s ridiculous to accuse cryptocurrency for being used by terrorists. The technology can’t be intentionally good or bad. Whoever use it is responsible for how they do it. Cryptocurrencies are still in their infancy, while terrorism has been using fiats for a long time. Anything could be used for bad purposes.

Re: Trading as an entertainment thing

I don’t see any entertainment in trading unless you don’t care about losing your money because there is a risk. Investing or trading cryptocurrencies is a very profitable and interesting way to earn extra money, but it is not an entertainment IMO. It requires some efforts from you like your time, knowledge, and skills in order to be successful. You need to make the research even to choose the best exchange. I tried dozens of them until stopped on CEX as I consider it the best and secure exchange. Whether you want to trade or just buy crypto with fiat (https://cex.io/eth-eur), it allows everything. It’s very important to assure that your funds safe.

Bitcoin is universal and can be used as a currency as well as a store of value. And the world is actually moving towards digitalization, I agree with you. While crypto is a phenomenon that facilitates this dizitalization greatly.

According to Google, Jeff Bezos became the richest man, outstripping Bill Gates for several billions. But way more is accumulated in hands of two families, the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers.

There are many good exchanges, and it’s a matter of personal preferences and goals. However, we should limit our choice to reliable exchanges. I prefer CEX (https://cex.io/buy-bitcoins) because it exchange works with fiats and cryptos and is secure, user-friendly, and available in my country. Also, I use a CEX’s cold storage for keeping my funds.

Re: Recent Selling Outweighing Buying in Cryptocurrency :(

Of course, there are investors who buy crypto, but their number is nothing compared to those who sell coins in panic. But I would say that now a lot of people want to buy crypto, as the prices are low and they are likely to grow in 2019.

Banks are trying to set limits for crypto, but at the same time, they are starting to implement it. We're moving in the right direction. I don’t like banks and try to avoid them, switching to crypto as much as possible.

Re: what are the things to consider when looking for a good exchange?
by

on 22/11/2018, 14:09:41 UTC
The reputation and security are important issues to consider when choosing the exchange. For traders, the number of supported cryptocurrencies, payment methods, and liquidity also play a significant role. For me, margin trading offered by CEX (https://cex.io/margin-trading) is a critical issue. I know there are not many exchanges that provide this service today.

Opening new job positions is a good idea that will improve the economy, but usually, the real problems are much deeper. They include the inaccessible higher education, social insecurity, low industrial development, and many other important aspects. And decentralized cryptocurrencies might actually have a great effect on people from the poorest countries.

Collaboration is always better and more fruitful. And we can see a great example of fiats and cryptos co-existing in Japan. Initially, cryptocurrency was designed to replace fiat money but it will rather be a solid alternative.

Agree with Kay94 about the coins. They are popular and well-known. Another indicator of trust is that the coin is supported by all popular cryptocurrency exchanges like CEX or Coinbase. If you can easily buy it or exchange for another major coin (https://cex.io/eth-btc), then it's definitely the case.

Re: Can Bitcoin become the universal currency of the world? What is the reason?
by
recklessMe
on 14/11/2018, 12:16:05 UTC
It is quite possible with the development of the bitcoin blockchain. It is very convenient for transactions comparable to fiat ones. But it requires time and positive attitude from governments, in order to build infrastructure and become widely used. But it is rather an utopian scenario for bitcoin. The government won’t surrender their power to the decentralized financial system. That’s why, perhaps, it is better to use bitcoin as an alternative currency.

They do understand how it works and they do it. They have right as individuals to buy as much bitcoin as they want, if there is no conflict of interest between their duties and investments. I think a lot of politicians benefit from investing in crypto.

Re: How to learn trading?

I want to learn how to trade. If you want, then please give me some advices, tips etc. Links to all kinds of helpful information is also very good. Please don't write empty filler comments.

EDIT: I want to day trade and swing trade. I know about cryptocurrency, so I don't need information about that. I prefer not to tell my capital investment. I am already trading and almost all my investment is in bitcoin cash right now. I am basically looking for guidance on how to trade. I am not a complete beginner, but still very new in trading.

That's great that you want to learn – knowledge is essential in this sphere. If I were you, I wouldn't hurry to start day-trading or swing-trading. You have to gain a lot of experience. Here are some articles about day trading (https://www.bitdegree.org/tutorials/day-trading-cryptocurrency/, https://www.daytrading.com/cryptocurrency).
And what exchange do you use for trading? Have you tried CEX? Exploring it could help in a way, it has a simple and clear guidance on trading. Also, it's possible to trade margins there (https://cex.io/margin-trading).

Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ?
by

on 07/11/2018, 10:37:26 UTC
Bitcoin’s concept is unique and reinforced with advanced technology, so we don’t need to worry about its future. Cryptocurrencies make transactions easier and safer. The new generation will definitely choose crypto over fiat money as a way of payment and over gold as a store of value. It’s more practical. Soon we will have the decentralized Internet, not least due to cryptos.

I agree with kalehon. I have high hopes for XRP, but LTC is also good in a way. At least, as a light version of Bitcoin Smiley Anyway, you will have to do a research which should help you make the right choice. I can only suggest the websiten CEX as the exchange that supports these coins and allows buying with cards or via wires. If you have some BTC, you can as well exchange it for XRP (https://cex.io/xrp-btc).

This idea does make sense. I think nothing can destroy decentralized currencies. Although we don’t know what future holds for crypto, it will definitely remain influential. And if bullish predictions come true, what I strongly believe in, this idea will give great returns.

Re: Evaluation of Bitcoin as a store-of-value
by
recklessMe
on 02/11/2018, 11:03:43 UTC
The original utility of bitcoin as a medium of exchange has changed towards the store of value. Bitcoin possesses high self-sufficiency, resistance to censorship, and security. That’s why people consider bitcoin as a stable and independent store of value. I don’t see anything terrible in it. Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency with broad functionality, so everyone can decide for themselves how to use it.

Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency?
by
recklessMe
on 30/10/2018, 11:33:23 UTC
I think people will use bitcoin if the governments and banks would consider it as a valid means of payment. Meanwhile, all we can do is trading on the exchanges like CEX or Coinbase, buying and hodling (https://www.cex.io/buy-bitcoins), trying to make profits. Perhaps that would serve as a pattern to those who aren't involved yet – the more we trade, the more they know that this way of earning is real.
